  • Fixed a bug in the flags/cloth on some flags and the Railarcher! Should hopefully make the game work better! Seems some computers didn’t like the smooth flow in those purple banners

Here's the latest update to the game:

New features



  • New temporary look for enemies that are cloaked (now posing as a bush!), fortified (now with a silly helmet) and healing (now with healing particles)! Will be refined in an upcoming version
  • You can now call the next wave early! As soon as 50% of the current wave enemies have spawned you can press E or a very small button at the start of the road to call the next wave!
  • Skill hotkeys! You can now use numbers 1-9 to use the skill in that slot! Soon also to speed build towers (next release, known issue is that you can't use hotkeys with the build menu open)
  • New achievements for building towers!


Bugfixes & changes



  • Fixed a bug where the auto-loot-upgrade on the Obelisk wouldn't pick up the loot
  • Added some short descriptions to help the upgrade tooltips be more readable
  • Reduced the loot frequency and stabilized the loot so it's equal over each wave
  • Fixed a translation error in the intro scene

Thank you for the awesome feedback on the game, we're so excited to be live in Early Access!

New features



  • HOPEFULLY a huge performance boost! We've recompiled the game with a new compiler (ILCCP for you coders out there!)
  • Added a new Obelisk upgrade to Auto Pickup Loot!
  • Added verbose descriptions to some of the tower upgrades
  • Towers boosted by the Obelisk now says "Boosted" next to the kill count!
  • Freeplay now gives you 50% XP and loot chance! (down from 100%)
  • Added AUTO settings that will check what quality settings to use on your FIRST launch - this will run once for everyone so if you edited your settings you might have to change them again (only once, sorry!)


Bugfixes



  • Fixed a bug that locked you in Freeplay forever!
  • Fixed an error on the Lightning Tower L2T5 upgrade where the range was reduced
  • Obelisks won't boost other Obelisks anymore, how silly that was
  • Fixed the placement of the Obelisk that was a little bit off!
  • Fixed a bug that displayed removed AOE damage as 0,0

Added Mac Support!

Well well well! If it isn't MacOS support that was just added to Cliff & Field!

Houston we don't have a problem - we're doing amazing! Cliff & Field is now released in Early Access and you're more than welcome to come and try it out.

Over 2 years in the making from us two devs, everything from music to 3D assets and it's been such a joyride!

Cliff & Field releasing in Early Access this Friday Nov 4th!



Hi all Champions,



It's finally time to release Cliff & Field to Early Access!
Thank you for all the amazing feedback, bug hunting, and tips we've gotten over the past few months.

At 8 pm CET we're releasing Cliff & Field so that we can finish the game together with you all!
We'll keep adding levels, towers, skills, features and loads of other things to the game in the coming months and would love to hear your feedback and ideas as we do it!

Please join us on Friday evening for a spectacular launch together!

Demo fix 0.9.7 out!


Pushed a small fix that corrected an error in version 0.9.6!

  • Updated the UI on the in game player menu to match the new UI

It's here! A big update to the demo before we soon release this game in Early Access!

New features



  • NEW GAME MODE: Reverse! All levels (well only one in the demo) can now be played in reverse!
  • Statistics and info on who destroyed you on the victory/defeat screens!
  • You can FINALLY play the game with your controller plugged in! (Still working on controller support)
  • You can now toggle damage numbers
  • Separate menus for sound and controller settings
  • Added sprite icons and text popups when picking up drops/loot!
  • Nightmare is now a game mode playable on any difficulty


Bug fixes



  • Fixed the revive function!
  • Updated security on the save file (note that this might reset your save file)
  • Fixed an issue that prevented your level to save
  • Fixed panning and zooming speeds around the map
  • Fixed the dead-zone when right clicking so you don't accidentally scroll around
  • Fixed the bug where the steam picture would be upside down


Miscellaneous



  • Updated the pointer to be more clear and visible!
  • Improved mouse click and drag
  • Improved the visibility of damage numbers and affix callouts in the world
  • Updated some of the wave descriptions
  • Fixed a typo in the Cannon tower description
  • Changed cannon start AOE-radius from 4 -> 3
  • Changed cannon start AOE-dmg from 2 -> 1
  • Changed cannon "Cannonbombs" upgrade AOE-radius from 2 -> 4
  • Changed cannon "Cannonbombs" upgrade AOE-damage from no change -> 2

New demo update - now WAY better performance!

Hello champions,

We’re super excited to release this new update where we worked a lot on improving the performance while playing the game.

We received feedback from a lot of you that it needed to run smoother and faster so we set out to accomplish exactly that. This is our first update of many to address performance.

Here’s what’s included in this update 0.9.5:

  • Improved accessibility why am picking up loot including particle effects
  • Improved terrain performance
  • Occlusion culling (to improve rendering performance, silly of us to have disabled that)
  • Mesh grouping (also for improved performance)


We hope this update allows more people to play the game and please let us know in the steam community if you encounter any errors and will try to fix the best we can in the next coming days!

Major graphics update! - Demo v0.9.4 released
