After hard work and sweat, Exotics update is finally out! Let's get straight to the point, here's what we've done for this update:
* New map: Riverside City * New car: Lamborghini Countach * User Interface improvements * Re-wrote Drift Manager logic * Improved Radio Manager (added ability to pause/resume music and play next song) * Added 10 new tracks to the Radio * Completely revamped vehicle sound system (high quality sound w/ new logic) * Added garage vehicle Info * Re-done lighting on all maps * Minor improvements on some maps * Minor changes to some vehicles * Fixed issue where players unable to re-join multiplayer game * Experimental: Steering wheel support for Logitech G920 * Reorganized internal structure of core managers
Riverside City has been made from the ground up by our single level designer. This is yet our biggest map we're introducing to the game, and we hope you enjoy. There are probably other things I forgot to mention, but all and all, I'm sure you guys will appreciate the work we've put into this update.
I'm pretty excited to announce the release of Update 1.3 to you this fine day. I'm not going to waste your time with how long it's been and what not, so let's get to the update.
Here's a changelog:
* New map: Riverport Airside (Huge custom airport map) * New Vehicles: Mustang GT, RX7 & CTS-V * New: Added global volume setting in game's options * New: MP currently has only 3 maps (the rest will be added by the next update)
* Improvement: Radio System (ability to see current song and play next song) * Improvement: Global Drift Physics (easier drifting) * Improvement: Vehicle behavior for Nissan Sylvia * Improvement: Multiplayer System (custom map, level name, max players, etc.) * Improvement: Overall multiplayer synchronization
* UI: Added NoS (nitro) gauge * UI: Reset button now resets vehicles position instead of reloading the level * UI: Fixed loading issue in main menu (sometimes game freezes until next level is loaded)
* Misc: Garage selection starts from previous selected vehicle instead of the first * Misc: Internal improvements with scene loading and unloading * Misc: Added new artist (FINIVOID) to game's Radio System * Misc: Main Menu background music improvements * Misc: Sylvia livery change
* Fixed: Multiplayer player visibility fix (random bug which caused players not being able to see host) * Fixed: texture issue on a G35
Riverport Airside map has been made from the ground up by our single level designer. I will tell you for sure that is the biggest, prettiest and the most interactive map of Clown For Speed to this day, at least in my honest opinion. A lot of "quality of life" improvements have been made as well; even if there is more to come. I truly believe a lot of you would enjoy this update and I cannot wait to hear your feedback!
