On the surface, Green is a much-acclaimed bartender who worked his way to fame by mixing extravagant-looking drinks. Dr Black hired him for his exclusive cruise party, promising him he’d be able to serve celebrities in Black’s exclusive yacht bar.
However, Black discovered Green does not live up to his fame. This humiliating fact would ruin Green’s career if it became public knowledge. Perhaps when Dr Black threatened to expose Green’s lack of professional skills, Green decided to protect his own interest?
White as a Captain
Captain White, who grew up on the island, found herself in the spotlight after she narrowly prevented a boating accident with her navigation skills. Using that moment of fame, Captain White wanted to start her own cruise company around the islands.
When Black hired her to captain his yacht, she discovered Black's plot to start drilling for oil around the islands. Dr Black's business venture would ruin the allure of the islands and her plans to start her cruise line. Perhaps she killed the billionaire to protect her own business plans?
Scarlett as a Politician
Scarlett started a campaign to improve the relations with the local islanders by providing them with carefully crafted job opportunities in tourism. This was great for her public image and led to her being invited by Black to discuss her potential political endorsement in his oil drilling plans.
However, Scarlett found out about Blacks plans to build the massive oil rig, which would undo all her hard work. Perhaps she couldn't take the blow to her public image and decided to end it then and there?
Plum as a Tech CEO
Plum is a young and driven entrepreneur whose tech start-up earned him a place in the upper echelon of famous inventors and innovators. His invention of software to quickly map surroundings in stunning 3D was a big success and has been used in many industries from VR games to construction.
After Dr Black invited him on his private yacht, he discovered that Black wanted to use his company's technology to map the ocean floor before the drill. Working with Black and destroying the environment would severely destroy the young tech CEO’s reputation. Perhaps Plum did not want his image tarnished by Dr Black's greed and cut his life short?
Peacock as a Marine Biologist
Peacock is the best in her field of research: rare tropical anemones. These anemones are indigenous to the chain of islands where Dr Black intends to set up his oil rig. In the past, the billionaire funded Peacock's research on the island, most likely to scout out the viability of his oil rig.
Peacock was brought onto Dr Black's yacht to lead a scuba diving excursion with the other guests and to relieve their concerns over the environmental impact of the rig. Despite being funded by Black, she could not bear the impending destruction of her beloved anemones. Perhaps it was her love for nature that made her cut Dr Black's life short?

The destination: a beautiful, enigmatic tropical island chain. These islands are home to a unique ecosystem and stunning coral reefs. However, there is also a colossal crude oil reserve Dr Black is hoping to exploit in the future.
Six suspects are aboard the yacht when Dr Black meets his untimely demise. Each suspect has their motive to put an end to his life. Perhaps it was Peacock as a marine biologist who wants to protect the environment? Or maybe it was Plum as the young Tech CEO who just wants to protect his reputation? The theme introduces six enigmatic characters and a beautifully designed board. This includes luxurious locations like the helipad and the underwater observation deck.

New update out now - Egyptian Adventure theme and multiplayer bug fix
The day has finally come, the Egyptian Adventure theme is out now and ready to be played.
Among the ruins of ancient Egypt, a heinous crime has been committed: the illustrious Mr Black is no more and six nefarious suspects have been rounded up as the possible murderers. Now it is up to you to find out who exactly is behind the crime, where it was committed, and what the murder weapon was.
Enjoy the classic murder mystery deduction game with a fresh look and explore the monuments of ancient Egypt. From the dark tombs of Pharaohs long passed to the crumbling ruins of the pyramids: Perhaps the solution to the murder lies in the mysterious hieroglyphs on the wall.
As well as an exciting new theme, the Egyptian Adventure update contains an overhaul of our network messaging system. We hope that this will make our multiplayer component more robust, fixing a number of stability and desynchronization issues. If you've been affected by these problems in the past, we would appreciate your feedback on the new update, and we apologise for the inconvenience. Plum as the Guide
Plum regrets the day he found the scarab that led to the discovery of the great tombs. At first, he was thrilled as the temple was gradually uncovered. The glories of his forefathers revealed once more - because of him! But then he realised that Dr Black only cared about the monetary value of the treasures. Plum had hoped that the artefacts would remain in Cairo, and it broke his heart to see them taken from his country. Perhaps he killed Black to put an end to the looting?
Mrs Meadow-Brook as the Aristocrat
Dr Black and Mrs Meadow-Brook have a long history. Many years ago, her husband died in suspicious circumstances. Rumour has it that she and Black had co-conspired to kill him so that she could claim on his life insurance. Nothing was ever proved, but after that, they went their separate ways. Until the dig. Black had burned through his money, so he reached out to Meadow-Brook to fund the excavation. Perhaps he was blackmailing her, and she decided to put an end to the drain on her resources?
