Language Issue in Chapter 12 and 13 Patch
Happy 2023! We’ve been excited to be part of several events this year including Steam Puzzle Fest, Steam Visual Novel Fest and Gradient Convergence presented by Game Devs of Color Expo! Hello to any new friends out there!

For the PC version, we’ve fixed a language issue in Chapter 12 and 13 regarding Big O Notation. Thanks to Vertani for pointing it out!

Happy 2 Year Launch Anniversary!
It's been two years since we launched Code Romantic! Thank you so much for all the feedback and time spent playing our coding visual novel.

We have some updates, but the biggest one is that Code Romantic is now playable on Mac!
Please let us know if you find any bugs or have any issues so we can remedy them so you can continue enjoying your Mac gaming experience.

Our other update is that Code Romantic: Part 2 is in the works and we have new key art to share with you!



We do not have an official announce date yet, but we are making lots of progress on finishing the story and working with our lovely illustrator, Allyson Kelley, on key moments and sketches.

Update notes for 2.3.0!
Happy 1 year anniversary! We updated the save system and made some improvements. Here's what's new:


  • Cloud saves: your save slots will now migrate between computers!

  • Save checkpoints: Your progress is now saved several times in longer chapters. Look for a save disk icon in the upper right corner!

  • Added a disclaimer: just in case you weren't sure, this is a fictional story!

  • Typos and animation bugs fixed!
