Hi everybody, no changes to Coffee Run are published...yet. However, the game is now available on Mac!
I have already made some changes to the game (not available on Steam yet) and followed the community's advice on how to make Coffee Run perform, look, sound, and play better.
Honestly, there most likely won't be an update until sometime in the summer BECAUSE I don't want you guys to be disappointed with the outcome. Time is everything. I need lots of time to make the game truly remarkable.
I have accomplished the following so far:
-There is an option for Joe to run in a straight line that can be made right after clicking the Play button
-Already have changed the music but am currently working on a way to choose either the annoying whistling (which you guys love SOOOOO much) or the new and improved tune
-The pause/options buttons are no longer visible on the side of the screen. They will be accessed by pressing P (for pause) or Esc.
-Instructions are enhanced (i.e. much more descriptive) and will be readable from an extra button when you press P or Esc.
-Spawning of coffee cups is significantly improved. Remember when you would start the game and there was no coffee nearby? That will be a rare event.
-Donuts now provide you with an extra life
-Donut colliders have been improved (i.e. you don't need to be an inch away from the donut in order to pick it up)
-Cars are no longer floating and are no longer "in reverse"
-The infamous LAG has been fixed (loading the level)!!!
One of the huge things I need to fix is the graphics. I admit that I rushed the game in terms of level design. I will not release the update until the graphics are clean, polished, more detailed, and more spiffy.
The long wait will be worth it. For now, the game is a joke (which is awesome but I want to make it more respectable). Once the update arrives, you guys are going to be impressed.

News update on Coffee Run v2
Since some people (myself included) don't want the diagonal running feature to be removed, I decided to make a compromise. The upcoming Coffee Run update will allow the player to choose the style of running they want before getting transported to the level. They will be able to choose between the classic Diagonal running option and the Straight Line running option (running forward). Of course, with the Straight Line running option, Joe can still switch lanes in the road but he just runs forward after switching.
Also, the music has changed. No annoying whistling, none of that. The music in the next release will sound like the one in the game trailer except without the whistling.
In addition, there is not going to be a Pause button as the user will be able to pause the game by either pressing 'P' on their keyboard or 'Escape". Only when paused will the user be able to see the Options button.
The range of coffee cups spawning has been fixed so now there shouldn't be as many instances in which there are no Coffee Cups towards the beginning of the run. Also, the powerup spawning has been fixed as well as the cars coming out of bushes.
Keep in mind that the fixes are not available yet. I really want to reconstruct the game world and test the game THOROUGHLY before releasing the update. I estimate that I'll be able to release Coffee Run version 2 within the next few months. Possibly four or five. My goal is to not disappoint you guys, so I'll need lots of time to reconstruct Coffee Run.
Finally, if anybody has any ideas for Coffee Run version 2, please feel free to comment below on this announcement. I'm open to all of your ideas.

I apologize for all the bugs, an update is currently in the making
Hey guys, I know there have been several complaints about Coffee Run's performance and it seems that very few people can tolerate the music, so I will be working on fixing up the game very soon. Just to clarify, these are the bugs which I will try my hardest to fix in the next update.
1. When clicking Play on the main menu, the game appears to crash but in reality, it is loading (takes about 15-20 seconds to render the level). If the actual loading time cannot be reduced, then I will put in a loading screen. So far, everybody has commented about this one.
2. The fact that Joe Cappuccino runs diagonally forward was actually unintended. I actually thought this bug would bring a unique kind of gameplay, but a fair amount of people have complained about this, so nevertheless, I will straighten the direction in which Joe runs.
3. I will fix the spawning of the coffee cups (sometimes they spawn kind of far away from the starting point). For now, when the coffee cups aren't in plain sight right away, you can press R to reload the level until the coffee cups are close enough. :)
4. I shall ensure that no more cars will come out of bushes. Initially, I thought this was funny and that people would get a kick out of it, but it turns out that you guys didn't like that, so that will be fixed.
In addition, I will work on remodeling the character, the city, and all the other backgrounds. Also, get ready for this. I WILL change the music. :)
One more important note- the powerups that you purchase for 500 coins appear after you run for a little bit (they should pop up somewhere down the road). I will ensure that they spawn closer to the starting point in the update.
