This year we also have the opportunity to attend the Tokyo Game Show 2022 with the help of our friends at Chorus Worldwide Games. Coffee Talk Episode 2: Hibiscus & Butterfly is also featured on Tokyo Game Show 2022 Steam event page. We hope our friends in Japan can try out Coffee talk Episode 2 demo at TGS 2022!
Tokyo Game Show 2022 is happening from September 15 to September 18 at Makuhari Messe Convention Center, Chiba, Japan. Visit and play the demo of Coffee Talk Episode 2: Hibiscus & Butterfly, both on PC and console!
You can try out the PC demo version available at the Chorus Worldwide Games booth. Feel free to try out other games published under Chorus Worldwide Games, such as Frank and Drake, Varney Lake, Lost in Play, and Read Only Memories: NEURODIVER.

Have you known that Coffee Talk is getting a new episode titled Coffee Talk Episode 2: Hibiscus and Butterfly? It's a direct continuation and a standalone game from the original Coffee Talk, and is planned to be released next year. The new episode contains new stories, new features, and new characters while still bringing all the awesome stuff from Coffee Talk!
This year, we have more offline events to attend, bringing you the goodness of the upcoming Coffee Talk Episode 2: Hibiscus and Butterfly demo. We are excited and grateful at the same time that we can visit different events, making our game one step closer to our fans around the world!

Coffee Talk x Makeship Collaboration Part 3 - Gala and Hyde Plush!
Greetings, Cafe Regulars.
It's the usual late-night routine for the Barista, sometimes, there's these two peculiar regulars that always come together to enjoy a cup of Coffee or a Gala Had. Gala, the huge but humble wolf, usually accompanied by Hyde, is the stylish vegan vampire with a sharp tongue. Sometimes, they bring racial related-issues and personal problems that pique the Barista's interest.
For the first time in our campaign, the third Coffee Talk and Makeship collaboration, we bring two plushes together to the table, featuring Gala and Hyde.

Despite being a war veteran, Gala is a caring gentleman who works as a hospital worker.

Being a hard worker, Gala is always on standby, wearing his inner hospital shirt and casual dark bluish outfit.
His bangs also cover some part of his eyes and it's not Gala without his signature beard.

Results of The Fundraising for Fahmi’s Family
Hi, everyone. We hope you are all doing well.
As you all may have known, the news of Fahmi’s sudden departure was devastating. To help Fahmi’s family in their difficult time, we conducted a fundraising event for Fahmi’s family through Coffee Talk. The game was discounted from March 31st to April 4th and all of our proceeds from this period will be given to Fahmi’s family.
We want to be transparent about this and share with you the results of the fundraising event. So, here are the results:
From March 31st to April 4th, 2022, you have all contributed to 37,322 copies of Coffee Talk sold on Steam with total gross revenue of $257,330. Please note that this number is before calculating Steam’s platform cut (30%), taxes (approx 10%), and refunds (approx 5%). We estimate that the revenue we will receive and donate to Fahmi’s family is roughly 55%-60% of the total gross revenue.
At the moment we don’t have numbers from the console sales yet. We will update this announcement as soon as we receive the numbers. UPDATE: Our console publishing partner, Chorus Worldwide, has reported that the sales from Playstation, XBOX, and Nintendo Switch (Japan) during the fundraising period are around $6500.
We would also like to thank everyone who participated and contributed to this fundraising effort. Even with a simple act of sharing the news about this fundraiser, you have made a huge impact. We appreciate each and every bit of support we have received. Thank you for all of your kind and heartwarming messages you have left in support of Fahmi and his family. It’s beautiful to see that Fahmi is loved by so many people from all around the world.
As you may have heard from our previous announcement, Mohammad Fahmi Hasni, co-creator and writer of Coffee Talk passed away on March 28th, 2022 from an asthma attack. He was only 32 years old.
Fahmi had a big heart and was a wonderful person. He was known as someone who is really passionate about telling meaningful stories through games. He was a role model that inspired many of us, especially Indonesian indie game developers. We are all mourning the loss and we miss him terribly. It still feels so surreal that he is no longer with us.
His sudden departure was devastating, and the most impacted is his family. To help Fahmi’s family in this difficult time, we are fundraising through Coffee Talk. The game will be discounted for 32% from Thursday, March 31st (10 AM PT) to Monday, April 4th (10 AM PT) and all of our proceeds from this period will be given to Fahmi’s family.
We belong to God and to God we shall return.

Coffee Talk 2nd Anniversary!

Happy second year anniversary to Coffee Talk, the game we all know and love! Especially to you all Cafe Regulars who've been with us, we are truly thankful for your support. We've been through a lot together, lots of great memories, and we feel like we could connect with you all through Coffee Talk.
After two years, there are many things that we have achieved together. Let's take a look, shall we?
Coffee Talk finally open for business in 2020...
Coffee talk was released two years ago, exactly on January 29 2020. It's such a big day for us where we released Coffee Talk simultaneously on different PC platforms and consoles! The game was well-received by many players around the world. A few months after, we announced the Coffee Talk Collector's Edition with the help from our friends at Strictly Limited Games and Chorus Worldwide.

There are lots of players who love the music of Coffee Talk, thus we decided to release the LP record of Andrew Jeremy's Coffee Talk greatest hits back in October 2020, in collaboration with Black Screen Records.. Everyone just loves vibing to Lo-Fi Hip Hop soundtrack while relaxing or just doing stuff, don't you think? ;)
Coffee Talk continued to strive even better in 2021!
During our first anniversary in January 2021, we added mod support to the game. It was a big milestone for us to support the dedicated players, where localization and voice over mod were implemented! This is a mod that really brings more opportunity to our community. They can took part in adding their own language support and custom voice overs so more people can enjoy Coffee Talk as well!
In the same month as the first anniversary of Coffee Talk, we were chosen as the finalist Outstanding Achievement for an Independent Game during the 24th D.I.C.E Award back in January 2021? It's a huuuge achievement for us to be recognized at such an grand event.
The Coffee Talk OST Vinyl we released back in 2020 got a repress in April 2021! Not only that, Black Screen Records also released another version of a beautiful 2xCD set, definitely a treat for those who don't have a turntable.
The 2xCD set contain 22 tracks and 2 bonus tracks!
In the SEA Game Awards Level Up KL 2021, we won the Grand Jury Award! If you didn't know, SEA Game Awards is one of the biggest game nomination event in Southeast Asia, and that's already a huge achievement for us as an indie game developer! We were just as amazed as everyone else when we watched the nomination back in November 2021!
The overwhelming support of the players for the past years pushed us even higher, and we finally did it! Coffee Talk Episode 2: Hibiscus & Butterfly were officially announced with a trailer back in September 2021 during the Indie Houses Direct. The new episode is considered as a standalone title that will be released on PC and consoles.
