Age of Viking Conquest Release, and Colonial Conquest Improvements !


Hello Dear Players,

We are glad to announce you the release of our new strategy game : Age of Viking Conquest !

Taking opportunity of this release, we also brought to Colonial Conquest the following updates that will work on game stability:

New Combats Rules :
- Morale loss reworked. Now Defender region has additionnal moral bonuses : +1 if Major nation, +1 if fortified or +2 if industrial center
- Now, 2 combat rules mode are available at the start of a new game (choose the one you prefer) :

1) Simultaneous Mode : Defender and Attackers fire simultaneous and suffer loss at the same time, round by round, to the elimination of a group or a morale falling to zero.
As a consequence, combats are more stressful for defenders and the chances attackers take the region are higher, with less troops than in the turn by turn version.

2) Turn by turn : Defenders inflict damages first, then attackers. These sequences reflect more precisely the "original" combat rules.
Combats are bloodier for attackers, and won't go well if surprise is there, so plan and use spying actions as often as possible.

Combat animations :
- Animations reworked for better coherence, morale and retreat visibility, reinforcements understanding and overall a better battle resolution sequence.
- Optimisations made for better FPS level.

AI :
- many improvements and smarter behavioure for computer players. Better budget management and war decisons.
- computer players use better the various diplomatic parameters and therefore are more likely to consider peace treaties.

Engine, UI and Rules
- Game Rules are now integrated in an ingame window for easier access.
- More Precise Quality Settings in game launch window
- Updated Core GameEngine and pluggins

- SaveGame : Scrollviews fixed for big savegame lists

Patch 1.160403 - Fixes and Stability ++

Hello dear Gamers,

We worked on this new update released today for a better game experience and stability. This is the changelog:

- Combat, battles and moral adjustments
- Achievements : fixes on some Dominations achievements
- Tooltips are shown after moving camera with keyboard
- Animations : Fixes and more precise combat representations
- Animations : Skip Animations Button now works (and speed up current combat)
- Corrections on combat logs
- Remove abnormal move arrows shown after loading

Colonial Conquest Now Available for Mac

We're happy to announce that Colonial Conquest is now available for Mac users.

In addition, we've pushed a number of stability fixes and small IA changes.

Colonial Conquest now available on iOS and Android

After month of work, we've released the game on iOS (iPad and iPhone) and Android this week. Let us know your views!

IA Update + Mac version upcoming

After long reviews, we've identified the (very) hidden reason behind a behaviour of the IA that makes it seems to go silent in some game. We're working on it and will be releasing a patch to change this balance and avoid this case to appear in the coming weeks.

In addition, we are going to release an update with some stability fixes and the MAC version very soon

New Major Update: Trading Cards, New languages added, achievements and bugs fixes

We are pushing today a new large patch which will both add features and support to the game as well as fix a few major issues the community had identified, in particular with regards to the connections between some countries in the game that prevented troops in some rare cases to be moved from one place to another. This one was tough to crack and we want to thanks the community for your help and feedback!

We're also adding the Steam Trading Cards as well as four new languages to the game, now available in 6 languages: English, German, French, Russian, Spanish and Portuguese.


New features:
- Steam trading cards are added to the game
- Four new languages added with Russian, German, Spanish and Portuguese now supported
- Achievements unlocked:
* Command Center (Use all of your 20 movement orders in the same turn)
* Red Army (Get of above 100,000 Armies with Russia)
* War Party (Play at least 5 multiplayer games)
* The empire on which the sun never sets = Own a region in each of the game's Theatres
* Hydropath = Own all the game regions that are NOT adjacent to the seas
* Perfect ! = Take a province without suffering a single loss.
* Berlin Blockade = As any player, subvert Germany


Fixes and optimizations:
- Fix problem with duplicated connection IDs that could cause region connections to disappear (nobody should have this bug anymore)
- Texture optimisations
- Achievements Fixes
- Add system fonts switch for specific languages
- Memory optimizations after animations

Hello Dear Gamers,

After this last days, we worked to improve the game experience and stability, mainly Freezes on animations, and screenresolution problems.

There's a complete list of our updates :

- Move Command : Canceling a Move Command now reactivates other available commands;
- War Table : War declaration year not updated anymore at every new conflict;
- Scenarios : Scenarios can now begin in any season;
- Battle / Move : A fleet move without army to a region followed by an invasion (fleet + army) move to the same region caused the army of the second move to disappear. It is fixed now.
- Theater : Theater bonus is now 2 millions
- Translations updates
- WarReport : Good colors for VP number
- Economic Help : New help message for major nation (Peace advices)
- HUD - No disabled action command button can now do their commands when using keyboard shortcuts
- No joystick will perturb mouse movement
- Animation : Freeze problem located and corrected (nationId was null + defender army sprite not found)
- Scenarios : Remove superflue ground connections with Arabia
- Animations : Speed Up Time Scale with Keyboard shortcut : "+" or "-"
- Animations : Improve combat coherence
- Music : More Musics for English Nation
- Spy Order : Spy Orders on regions without harbour should have 0 fleet;
- Supply Center : Winning back a region often gaves you a new supply center, not anymore;
- Localization : English text improvements. Many thanks to "Chuck"
- Achievements : AllNationsWorldDomination = Dominator is now enabled : "Have Dominated Earth with each and every nation"
- PC Launcher : Now directly run game in fullscreen mode, with native screen resolution. (You can go to gamelauncher options, launching game executable while mainting "Left Ctrl" key)
- PC Launcher : Game will not be active if minimised
- New Game : Default difficulty is set to Normal
- Options : Fix line size problem for "Enable Animations"
