Combat Overrun now features an Early Access singleplayer mode - a full-on alien demonic invasion to survive! Merging classic shoot-em-up style action with survival gameplay in a world packed with weapons, tanks, helicopters and cars for you to find and use.
Combat Overrun major game mode update!
Combat Overrun receives its largest update yet, with a revamped spawning method into its unique game mode - Battle Supreme! Players now enter an automated VTOL carrier at spawn - blasting across the map, slowing down at desirable spawn locations. Players can jump off at any time, gauging the possible fall damage if too high up - vs the possible reward of being the first to get to weapons and vehicles on the ground. The VTOL can be shot down - although difficult to do - another thing players want to consider.

In this update we are sharing a lot of new tech and improvements. We have added prop destruction allowing you to drive over and crush road blocks and barriers, or blow them to pieces with a rocket launcher!

In a major update to the game we added the MH6 Little Bird helicopter to the game, armed with rockets and wicked flight dynamics! To showcase this we released the first trailer for the game, a raw capture of racing cars, helicopter and tanks driving, complete with an Afterburner overlay showing true GPU and system stats, running on an i7 with a GeForce 1070 GTX. Realtime variable depth deformation
Hi guys,
We are working hard to continue to do upgrades and quality improvements to the game! We have now added fully variable depth ground deformation based on material properties such as softness / deformability, friction - and the velocity and force of the deformation-causing objects. Looks great and reflects the deep physics simulation we are pursuing as a key feature of the game.

Optimization update went live today!
We have been working hard on optimizing and tuning the game engine, and are happy to announce that we have achieved a quite massive performance boost, on top of an already fast game!
The optimizations have boosted framerate and most significantly smoothness, especially in networked games by a large margin, absorbing physics and networking spikes much better.
Enjoy guys and remember that we are in this for the long run, we will keep hammering out the updates all the way to the launch of the full game! :)

We continue to do rapid-fire updates to the game, delivering on feedback and to-be-expected Early Access improvements and additions;
* Added follow mode free-cam for all vehicles, allowing for blasting down those mountain roads while looking around for targets
* Tweaked vehicle physics to be able to increase top speed and maintain realism
* Added new populated area of the map
