Update 1.4.1

Sorry but save games from older versions are lost because of the Unity3D 5.1 port. Sorry! We think about a cheat code to unlock all stone age levels.

- Disabled pause menu on level restart

First Release Candidate




Thanks for all your support. We got amazing feedback from players around the world. With the last update we have fixed many bugs and improved the gameplay dramatically. We think this version is now in a very good shape to go out of early access. The additional planned content will be available as a free update for everyone. With this decision we also stay at the current price point and not going to rise the price as planned.

Currently we working on the last improvements and planning to go out of early access in the coming weeks. The next small update will have some performance improvements and minor bug fixes.

Many people making custom maps for Commander Cool and we will include some of the best in the release version. So please looking forward to it.

We are thrilled to going out of early access and we hope everyone is excited too! :)

By the way, currently we are porting Commander Cool 2 for Xbox one!

We're happy to announce a new big update :)

Controls:
- Rebinding for keyboard and controllers
- Quick restart level (Default Select or R)
- Switch between UI tabs on keyboard (Default 1 and 2 for left and right)

Mechanics:
- Walljump and doublejump reworked
- Enemies will always get knocked back on hit, depending on the force of your weapon

Level Selection
- Is a fancy map now

Levels:
- New tutoriallevel with cutscene!
- Levels with fixed camera
- Reworked most levels
- New flying enemy
- Reworked last boss
- Two new bosslevels with a flying boss!

Bugfixes:
- Player can no longer spawn before the map is loaded
- Players will not switch controllers at random any more

Hi commanders,

first of all we want to say THANKS for your support!!!
Based on your feedback we are currently working on the following todos:
- revamp Maps (adjust the difficult, add more story elements, new objects)
- improve boss battles
- rework player control and physic (includes walljump, stucking on corners, jumping)
- custom keyboard and controller mappings
- windows 32-bit support
- better controller support (xinput)
- bug fixes

We are going to release the update this month (scheduled on 21.05.2015)

Stretch goals:
- add more stonage maps
- add new episode pirates
- revamp leaderboards
- add online coop (multiplayer)

Custom Maps - Getting Started


Here is a short video how to build custom levels for Commander Cool. The documentation is still alpha but this video gives you a great start how things working.

We are working hard to create a seamless integration with steam workshops but this will arrive in a future update. So for now you cannot share your maps via steam workshop.
