We have been tackling larger issues that are taking more time, and some bugs are also more difficult to recreate, as they are more edge case issues. We are planning a larger update with a lot of new accessibility features soon, but we need to make sure that all new UI options are translated into all languages. Still, in the meantime, here are some fixes and updates for this current patch:

We realized that some changes from the last patch were not fully implemented due to issues with UI dropdown menu. We have corrected this and now 21:9 resolutions should be available.

We continue fixing and addressing issues that we are picking up from your feedback. We are facing some larger items such as key remapping, that might take us a bit more to have done in good form.

In the meantime, here are the current patch notes:
🌱-Support for different screen resolutions such as 21:9
🌱- Added hover tips for machine panel resources
🌱- Added notification if blueprint is placed without enough resources to finish
🐞-Nav-mesh recalculated for more precision - so that NPCs are able to reach higher areas without problems. (The navmesh updates dynamically, so you might need to remove an object and re-locate the object to see the update, we are looking at how to update all already saved navmeshes)
🐞-Revised broken blueprints that were missing dependencies

We are tackling some larger issues regarding our saving system and the AI system that drives NPC behavior. We have realized that there are many edge cases that we had not accounted for, so we expect to roll out several fixes in the coming weeks. If you encounter a bug, please help us by reporting it and sharing your save file or instructions of how to recreate it.

We continue our journey by doing extensive reviews of the game and revisions of your feedback. We want to be careful not to introduce new bugs, so we will have to test new updates more before releasing them, especially for larger fixes. We still think we can keep up a weekly cadence of patches hoping to address all major issues in the next couple of patches.

Here are the notes on this patch:

-NPCs farming bug addressed (unable to access water tanks)
-NPCs consuming additional materials for construction.
-Items re-appearing in the environment (serialization issues fixed)
-Research Nodes exploit fixed (not considering pre-requisites)
-Sandbox mode bug fixed
-FPS limit (60 FPS) available in the settings panel - reduce GPU usage

We continue our launch patches revising issues based on the community's feedback. While there are some larger issues that will take us a few more days to correct, we are trying our best to correct oversights and bugs as quickly as possible.

We have been working hard on doing a quick patch that fixes several oversights in our language systems. These are all the fixes we could complete on day 1, but we intend to further improve the language implementation in days to come. We are committed to continuing polishing any further issues that may arise.

Release Date Announcement

After years of work, the time has come; Common’hood has a release date!



Come November 10th, you’ll be able to dive into our community building and economy management game and get your hands on Common’hood’s unique set of customizable base building tools.

Our story mode is complete, presenting with an emotional, challenging journey alongside Nikki to unravel the mystery of the abandoned factory. The full release will also come alongside a creative multiplayer mode for you to cooperatively build with your friends, come up with new designs and express yourselves freely.

We want to thank our community, as this has only been made possible through your support and assistance, from the simple act of wishlisting our game to those brave few who helped us test the game and deal with bugs, balancing and general feedback.
