Conan Chop Chop

Discover the Discounted Conan Bundle!

Greetings Everyone,

90 years ago, in December 1932, The Phoenix on the Sword appeared in Weird Tales. This was the first Conan the Barbarian short story to be published by Robert E. Howard. Since then, the world of Conan and the legend of his adventures has only continued to grow.

Exiled, Unconquered, and... Chop Chop!

Today, we celebrate this anniversary by highlighting the rich videogame legacy of Conan through The Conan Bundle, which includes Conan Exiles, Conan Unconquered, and Conan Chop Chop:

Conan Exiles – Survive, build, and conquer in a vast savage land.
The online multiplayer survival game, now with sorcery, set in the lands of Conan the Barbarian. Survive and explore a vast open world sandbox, build your home into a kingdom, and dominate your enemies in single or multiplayer.

Conan Unconquered – Defy the wrath of endless hordes with strategy and strength.
From the Command & Conquer veterans at Petroglyph comes the first ever survival RTS set in the savage world of Conan the Barbarian. Stand against the innumerable hordes with the strength of your army, heroes like Conan, and in a last resort, the colossal Avatar of Mitra himself. Defend your stronghold solo or together in co-op.

Conan Chop Chop – Thrive and die gloriously in frantically funny top-down battle.
Charge into a party roguelite for 1-4 players full of mayhem, loot, and adventure. In this outrageous take on Conan the Barbarian, you are the muscle-bound hero foolish enough to try and stop the evil wizard Thoth-Amon!

With both the Winter Sale (50-60%) and additional Bundle Discount (10%), this is a fantastic opportunity to explore these three games. If you already own any of them, buying the bundle will simply add what you are missing. Please note that The Conan Bundle includes the base games, not expansions and DLC content.

The anniversary and Conan Bundle aren’t the only reasons to celebrate. Released this month, you can pick up the first Conan novel in over a decade – Conan – Blood of the Serpent, by S.M. Stirling.

It’s time to raise your sword and plunge into the savage world of sword and sorcery, myth and monsters.

From the whole team here at Funcom, we wish you an amazing holiday!

Conan Chop Chop March Update

We’ve just put out an update with a number of fixes and improvements. A big
thanks to all of you for the reports and feedback, which continue to be very
valuable.

Skill Points Bug

The team is hard at work on a final fix for an issue relating to their skill tree and
points, which caused some players to receive too many skill points. As a result, they
would not receive any additional points the next time they leveled up. This should
not happen anymore.

However, players who have experienced this may continue to not receive skill
points when leveling up. This will be resolved in our next patch, where we will reset
the skill tree and reallocate all points depending on your level. We thank you for
your patience in the meantime.

The team at Mighty Kingdom

Free Demo out now!

We've chopped (heh) Conan Chop Chop into a smaller piece for you to sample. Head on over to our store page now and try the free Demo!

Frosty is really excited about this

Conan Chop Chop is a party rogue-lite for 1-4 players full of mayhem, loot, and adventure. In this outrageous take on Conan the Barbarian, you are the muscle-bound hero foolish enough to try and stop the evil wizard Thoth-Amon!

The demo will take you through the first zone in the game, giving you a chance to sample the combat, a small part of the world and some of the basics of each character and their skill trees. We've included a few items and equipment as well, so you can get a feel for how they impact gameplay. Lastly, online co-op has been disabled for the demo but you can always use remote play together.

Conan Chop Chop is (finally) coming out on the 1st of March!

We first teased this game on April 1st, 2019. The joke there was that nobody would believe it was real while, in the background, we were very seriously working on this game. At E3 that year we took to the stage at the PC Gamer Show to announce that it was in fact coming out, and soon. We announced a release date of September 2019. The lesson to be learned there is do not mess with fate. If you try to mess with the power of April fools, it will turn around and make a fool out of you.

[previewyoutube="WPqlgtzyULs;full"]

The pandemic is certainly a factor in the delays. But the truth is, we knew we could make the game even better if we spent more time on it. And we're so happy we've given this game the time it has needed because it's become such a joy to play especially in co-op. So, without any further fake-outs or switch-a-roos, Conan Chop Chop is finally ready. We will be releasing a free Demo at the Steam Next Fest on the 21st of February, and after that we're releasing the full game on the 1st of April. Wait, no, bad idea. We’ll release it on the 1st of March!

Hyboria is waiting for those of you who have been so patient with us, and we hope you know we never took your support for granted. It was the warm reception received in 2019 that kept us moving forward in the hopes of making Chop Chop the game that it can be!

Conan Chop Chop Release Moved to Q2 2020

With all the elements of a hack and slash rogue-lite for 1-4 players being packed into one game, it’s no wonder developer Mighty Kingdom and publisher Funcom have decided to move the launch of Conan Chop Chop from February 25th to Q2 2020.

We're almost at the finish line, but we need a little extra time to optimize the game for online multiplayer. This also gives us a chance to add extra polish to the game.

It's all about getting that final Chop in place. It's not a one-chop game, it's Conan Chop Chop, and we need that extra attention to detail.

Conan Chop Chop is getting online multiplayer - release set for Q1 2020

Fellow Barbarians,

We're expanding the multiplayer options in Conan Chop Chop to include full online multiplayer! This has been the most requested feature from the community and we're incredibly excited to be adding this feature to the game, so you can play with your friends on the virtual couch, as well as the actual couch.

Adding online multiplayer means we are targeting a Q1 2020 release for Conan Chop Chop. More information can be found here!
