Conduct DELUXE! v1.1.3 has arrived!

Hello to everyone out therel Here's another patch with fixes for bug reports that you have sent us.

Patch notes for v1.1.3

  • The chosen Anti-aliasing option will now be applied correctly.
Due to an error. changing the anti-aliasing in the visual settings screen would not affect the rest of the game. Your choice is now saved properly.

  • Anti-aliasing can now be completely disabled.
For those of you on lighter systems, you can now disable this feature if you wish to push for higher framerates.

  • Missing medival and western trains should now be awarded correctly.
We discovered that you can miss certain train unlocks if you exit the game at very specific times. This patch includes some failsafe checks to assure you get your well deserved train unlocks. Visit the HQ if you believe you are still missing any of the trains from the Medival and Western worlds.

  • Lost Passengers achievements now trigger correctly.
Due to an error, the passenger lost achievement would sometimes fail to trigger when you cross the respective counts. If you have accumulated the required amount for an achievement but it has not triggered for you yet, then it should trigger the next time you lose a passenger.

The rush hour congestion is a problem we all need to work together to solve. In recent days we have noticed some creative drivers who make use of the empty train tracks as extra car lanes. We commend these inventive individuals in their effort to keep the traffic flowing for everyone. We at the Ministry of Transportation encourage clever thinking in traffic, but safety comes in at a close second. We would like to remind everyone to keep each other safe on the roads... and tracks. To all chauffeurs and conductors out there: Be welcoming of anyone in your lane or on your track, and be sure to keep a safe distance from each other. We don't want any accidents to happen now, would we?


Conduct DELUXE! v1.1.2 out now!

Hello, our dear players. This patch is for all of those who have contacted us with requests. We hope that these fixes will improve your conducting experience.

Patch notes for v1.1.2

  • Removed some really unfair and boring achievements.
Some of you have expressed disappointment that it is near-impossible to unlock all achievements in the game. Not because of difficulty, but because of the time it takes to grind the numbers. We've removed two achievements that required an unreasonable commitment of time to unlock (estimated hundreds of hours).

We agree that the achievements in question were very un-fun and un-fair, and we don't want players to suffer because they enjoy going for 100% achievements. (at least, we don't want our players to suffer TOO much :mean_creep: ...)

  • Repeatedly pausing or unpausing the game no longer causes the pause screen to glitch out.
Some players would be punished for clicking too early after unpausing the game. With these fixes, you are able to click on trains and switches immediatly after unpausing. We don't want the pause screen to be another obstacle for the player, the game has plenty of challenge already.

  • Conduct World level browser screen and Train gift screen now respects your choice if the audio is set to no music.
Some of you out there were annoyed by sudden music when you've chosen to play without. And with good reason. We've taught some manners to the gift screen drummer. They promised to show some restraint.

  • Conduct World level browser now shows most popular levels by default.
Of course, you can still order by date, or search for that one particular you want to find. We wanted the first impression for first time visitors to really show all the wonderful, crazy ideas that you builders out there have turned into published levels. We are considering other solutions as well, but we are trying this one for now.

On a related note, we are constantly impressed by the community. You always find new and innovative ways to use the Level Builder. New challenges, ways to tell story, or setups that breaks in funny ways. Our resident level design expert is simply stunned at all the new ideas that he hadn't thought of himself. It happens often that we load up a new level thinking "I'm not sure how this level works", only to drop our jaws in pure surprise.

We have great news to share with you all! Conduct DELUXE! won the award for Best Game Design this week. And just as awesome, Conduct DELUXE! was nominated along with other extremely awesome games from the Danish community, including A Hat in Time and Echo! We are so excited that we simply can't keep this to ourselves. Family, friends, and fans were a huge part of the process for us, and we are so happy to be able to share this cool achievement with you!

Conduct DELUXE! Patch v1.1.1

Hiya everyone, a few minor fixes and tweaks going out today, focused on Conduct World. This includes minor UI fixes, localization fixes, but most of all, a couple of new achievements to fully acknowledge the arrival of Conduct World! You can earn these new achievements right away!

We're really excited to see the creative uses of Conduct World. A lot of new ideas that we haven't seen before. We are very positive about the future levels to be published, as we are certain that even smarter, wilder, and funnier custom levels will show up!

Announcing Conduct World



The Level Builder in Conduct DELUXE! has always been an important part of our vision for the game. However, we always intended the Level Builder to be a very social experience, and with this update we want to enable that social experience for the players, with a new BIG feature for the game. It's called...

Conduct World!






With a new button from the main menu, you can access Conduct World! From here, you can view levels built by other players from all around the world. Browse, sort, search, and maybe find something that catches your eye? Quick previews of every level lets you peek in at what's in store. Once you find a level that you want to try, a single click later and you're in the action! Your personal progress is tracked across all levels. Any stars earned when playing levels on Conduct World will be displayed in the level browser, so that you can tell which levels you've perfected, and which new ones are waiting for you.



From within the Level Builder, you can publish your own creations to Conduct World. With the press of a button, your proudest creation is now published online for the rest of the world to enjoy! We hope to see players make all kinds of different levels. Easy, hard, short, long, tense, relaxed, contemporary, or avantgarde levels. All is welcome! As a service to the player, all published levels will include information on whether the author themselves are able to complete the level. If you choose to make incredibly hard levels, you can prove to the world that they certainly can be beat! Play and complete your level from within the Level Builder, and it will be marked as completable. If you make any changes to your level, you will have to beat it again to keep its completion status.

We hope to see level creators out there share their creativity and genius on Conduct World! Share your crazy creations with everyone, and don't be afraid to show off the fancy pieces you have unlocked throughout your Conduct journey. If you are a player simply looking for levels to play, there's no need to worry. You can pick and play any level off Conduct World, with no requirements for normal single player unlocks. Go earn yourself some stars on Conduct World!

Major bug fixes and optimizations for the Level Builder



We felt that it was important to improve the Level Builder experience, so that the players can focus on building the best levels before they publish them to Conduct World. We have been hard at work and are happy to present an improved Level Builder.

The Level Builder has seen a major rework of the internals, which solves some very annoying bugs. The overall experience of placing tracks, switches, trains, and cars will now be a more smooth and reliable process. Two of the worst problems up to this point have been inconsistent track-to-track snapping, and trains sometimes jumping tracks or starting in the opposite direction when you play the level. Both of these problems are gone with this update. Tracks will connect to eachother as you would expect, and trains will stay on their original tracks and go the expected way.

With this major patch, we also bring improvements to the performance of the Level Builder. It is very important for us that anyone can play and make custom levels, regardless of how powerful their computer is. We hope that these optimizations will help your Conduct experience be a more pleasent one.

A note on loading old custom levels



Loading a custom level built using an older version of the game (before v1.1) is possible, but any placed trains cars will be missing. This will only happen the first time you load an pre-v1.1 level. You can place any missing trains and cars right away and they will be saved properly from then on.

Why does this happen?
Because of the big differences in the way the train and car placement information is stored, old custom levels need to be changed to fit the new structure. The game will try to reconstruct the level from the old saved file, but in a way so that it supports the new level structure. This will happen automatically when you load an old custom level, but an unfortunate effect of this transition is that the game can not reliably reconstruct the trains and cars that you have placed previously. We decided that the safest thing to do here is to discard them instead of placing them randomly. We are very sorry for the inconvenience this might cause you.

Hiya, just a small fix for our players using Steam in offline mode or on unstable connections.


  • Save progress should now be accessible even on unstable connections or when using Steam in offline mode.
  • Steam Achievements should also be awarded properly in Steam offline mode.

Conduct DELUXE! v1.0.7

Hi everyone. Another batch of small fixes incoming:


  • Some trains were not exploding when crashing into things. We believe in equal-kaboom for all trains, no matter make or model. From now on, non-controllable train collisions (such as freight trains) now makes explosions properly and loses the game. This fix covers both normal play and the Level Builder.
  • The camera-shake effect when a crash is happening broke because of a previous patch. The camera now works at 100% capacity again.
  • Major performance optimizations when placing certain pieces in the Level Builder.

Hey Hey! Conduct DELUXE! v1.0.6!

Hi everyone. Achievements are important, and some of them were broken. Here's a quick fix to solve that!


  • World Unlock Achievements for the Christmas, Space, Western, and Medieval worlds are now awarded when you unlock the respective worlds. These were previously impossible to get.
  • As an added security for those who lost who already unlocked these worlds, the game now checks for all eligible achievements on startup, and awards those you should've already gotten. If you are missing some achievements, try starting the game after downloading this patch. If you are missing some train-unlock related achievements, try visiting the HQ instead.
  • Fixed an error in how fatalities were counted towards achievement. Previously you would only get two fatalities for crashing a train, no matter how many passengers the train was carrying. The game now counts all passengers correctly.


As a result of the miscount, your current fatality-counts are currently too low compared to the actual amount of passengers lost in crashes. We apoligize for the lower counts up until now.

Conduct DELUXE! v1.0.5 has arrived!

Hi, here's some more fixes for you all to enjoy.


  • Cosmic energies brought into check. The moon levels no longer has trains exploding on start, and trains no longer moves in reverse.
  • The level 'Lost at Sea' has had its time limit increased by 5 seconds. We decided that getting a gold time under the previous limit was more frustrating than challenging.

Conduct DELUXE! v1.0.4 Patch notes

Hi everyone, v1.0.4 is now out.

This patch contains bug fixes and feature requests from the community. Thanks to everyone who pitched in with their ideas or bug reports! :D:


  • OpenGL support for players without DirectX 11.
  • Fixed inconsistencies with the Escape and Space buttons. They now always pause and unpause the game.
  • Stations placed in the Builder no longer ignores your choice of passenger-colors to spawn.
  • Fixed text being cut off in the Builder pause menu for certain languages.
