We're aiming to hold more offline events like this in the upcoming months, and we glad to share that our previous event in Shanghai gathered over 300 warlords who finally had a chance to face each other not only on the battlefields but in a friendly atmosphere supported by CB's style.

Shanghai, China — During the China Joy gaming expo, Conqueror’s Blade hosted an unforgettable offline community event in Shanghai. Warlords and developers came together for an evening of camaraderie, friendly matches, and insightful discussions. Let’s dive into the highlights of this epic gathering!
 


Showcasing Unique Armor Sets


At the Feast, our warlords had the chance to explore a variety of uniqu armor sets. Some were exquisite models for striking photos, while others were genuine armor pieces available for everyone to try on. Additionally, we urge everyone of you to bring your armor sets to show your favorite styles!





In addition! There were Coser dressed as Modao and Shenji Grenadiers on the scene, as well as the beautiful Scorpio and Greek Coser!
 

 

Face-to-Face with the Devs


We are excited to announce an upcoming event where several of CB’s developers will join warlords on the battlefield. No topic was off-limits—whether it's about Doctrine, Mastery, or Balance. We consider it a true honor that warlords are making the special effort to meet us in person and engage in meaningful discussions.
 

 
Late into the night, warlords and devs engaged in lively conversations. Producer Lao Wang shared insights into the team’s efforts and outlined exciting future plans for Conqueror’s Blade. As a result, we’ll be motivated to meet with everyone more often.

The carnival atmosphere buzzed with energy as ten computers hosted intense siege battles. Warlords, both online and in person, strategized, clashed, and analyzed tactics. Cheers erupted as players witnessed epic clashes unfold. Everyone was swept up in the thrill of the battle, cheering and shouting for the players on both sides!

  1. Optimized the display of units and heros' icons in the OB mode.


  2. Fixed the issue where not all unit skills were displayed in the Novice Training Camp.

  4. Fixed the problem of interface overlap that may occur in [ESC] - [Settings] - [UI] - [Novice Tip Bubble].

With the 5th Anniversary of Conqueror's Blade on the horizon, in gratitude to our loyal and new warlords, we have prepared a bunch of warm-up and official activities. Wish all warlords good luck and ever-victory in battles.
 
(2)Warm-up Event 1: Free Doctrine-removing!

Info:

  During the event, removing doctrine, whichever quality it is, costs no Lotus Water. Warlords can try different doctrine sets freely.

(3)Warm-up Event 2: Free Try-on of Legendary Attires!

  • Join in [Siege Battle] or [Field Battle] and you may get a [Limited-time] Random Legendary Attire Chest of 12 hours.


  • The chest contains several 12-hour legendary attires including Shore's Edge Pike, Falling Star, The Inner Flame, Onibi Tenmu and so on.


  • You can acquire the chest up to 3 times a day. The limit will be reset at 24:00 every day.

    [Mercy of Heaven I]:


  • Reduce continuous health recovery from 500 + 1.5% of maximum health per second to 500 + 0.5% of maximum health per second;


  • Reduce defense increase of [Pious] in the first 3s from 50% to 25%;


  • Reduce defense increase of following [Unswerving] effect from 20% to 10%;


  • Increase Cooldown from 18s to 20s.



    [Mercy of Heaven II]:


  • Reduce instant health recovery from 1100 + 6% of maximum health to 1100 + 4% of maximum health;


  • Reduce continuous health recovery from 500 + 1.5% of maximum health per second to 500 + 0.75% maximum health per second;


  • Reduce defense increase of [Pious] in the first 3s after the skill is used from 50% to 25%;


  • Reduce defense increase of following [Unswerving] effect from 20% to 10%;


  • Increase Cooldown from 18s to 20s.



    [Mercy of Heaven III]:


  • Reduce instant health recovery from 1100 + 6% of maximum health to 1100 + 4% of maximum health;

  (2) Unit Balance Adjustments

    Silahdars:


  • [Decapitate] and [Deathstrike] reduce damage taken by 40% within 3s and remove control effects instantly. They also increase the attack rate for their duration.


  • Increase the damage of [Sideways Sweep] and [Deathstrike] (including [Deathstrike] released under [Get Over Here]) by 30%


  • Increase Minimum Damage Rate of [Deathstrike] (including [Deathstrike] released under [Get Over Here]) from 0.1 to 0.2


  • [Deathstrike] (including [Deathstrike] released under [Get Over Here]) deals extra damage on charging enermies.


  • Increase the number of enemies each basic attack can hit by 1


    Prefecture Pikemen


  • Charge's maximum target + 1


    Psiloi Slingers


  • Reduce Leadership from 100 to 80


    Men-at-Arms


  • Increase Leadership from 215 to 235


  • Reduce the charging damage to heroes by 50% when covering commander



  After this maintenance, warlords having logged in during the [Alexander] season will receive the [Men-at-Arms] Mastery reset item via mail. Please log in to claim after maintenance at earliest convenience.

2. Ranked Battle Adjustments



[Ranked Battles], as the core gameplay of Conqueror's Blade, has always been the arena where many warlords truly shine. Through the qualifiers of the CBL event this time, we've noticed that the sheer joy of combat might be overshadowed by the current rank settlement mechanism. Therefore, taking into account your feedback and drawing inspiration from numerous other ranking systems in our game, we are fine-tuning the means of settlement for [Ranked Battles] this season.
Before: Rewards for the [Ranked Battle] Season were based on the rank at the time of settlement.
After: Rewards for the season will now be based on the highest rank achieved during the current Ranked Battle Season.
This adjustment aims to offer all warlords a more down-to-earth set of combat rules. Under this framework, both rank rewards and the battle experience will receive a certain level of assurance.

3. NPC Entrance Adjustments



  (1) Warlords can now access the [Free Training Camp] through the [Master-at-Arms].
  (2) Warlords can now access the [Unit Training Camp] through the [Billeting Officer].




4. Rewards System


Optimized the process of acquiring rewards from [Surveys].

5. OB System


(1) In the OB mode, observers can now quickly switch positions by clicking on the mini-map in the bottom right corner. An overhead view from 20 meters above the ground will be presented.
(2) In the OB mode, some display issues such as overlapping icons of heroes and units are solved.
 

III. Bug Fixed and Optimizations




  • [Archer Infantry] and [Crossbow Infantry] will be unable to use the [Double Strings] and [Double Shot] skills in melee mode.


  • Fixed the issue where bringing [Claymores] may cause server lagging.


  • Fixed the issue where the actual effect of bleed duration increase of [Namkhan Archers] was not matched with its description.


  • Optimized the projectile trajectory of [Siphonarioi]'s flame jet and fixed the issue where attacking targets too close would cause abnormal attack range.


  • Fixed the issue where the loading of [Musket] could be interrupted by minor terrain elevation differences.


  • Fixed the issue where heroes might not be able to use skills after [Artiliery Takeover].


  • Fixed the potential issues about the selection interface of the server line.


  • Fixed the abnormal display of text information in the [N] - [Imperial Restorationists] interface.


  • Fixed abnormal display of limited-time titles in [Ranked Battles].


  • Optimized the displaying logic of task-tracking bar.

Novice System Optimization Announcement

Recently, we've received a wealth of feedback from warlords about novice stage. Thanks to your precious feedback, we've recognized the need for significant improvements to enhance the novice experience for our warlords.

Therefore, following this update, we have optimized and enhanced certain aspects of the novice system, with more optimization planned based on community feedback and backend data.

Specific optimizations for the novice stage include:

  1. More guidance and prompts for controlling and interacting with heroes and units in the novice stage;
 







 
  2. All-new Free Training Camp where you can freely wield various weapons and deploy different siege engines and artillery for battlefield practice;






  3. All-new Unit Training Camp where you can command all units and experience the thrill of crushing enemies beforehand;





  4. Enhancements made to the music ambiance at Eagle Pass, with added sound effects for soldiers when hit, to elevate the overall battlefield experience;
  5. One more common-quality horse given to new characters;
 
Gratitude to our warlords for all the support these years. After the 8/22 update, we have also prepared abundant bonus events for you!

1. The Legendary [Maul] Attire - [Flame of Nemean lion] Appearance Upgraded!


Adjusted the size of [Flame of Nemean lion]'s maul head to optimize its visual performance.




2. The limited-time discount for unlocking [Maul] ended.


The Pay-off cost for each quest in [P] - [Skills] - [Maul] unlocking challenge has been restored to 100 Sovereigns.

II. Adjustments and Optimizations


1. Systems


[Battle System]
1) Fixed the issue where the weapons of the players forced out of artillery may disappear.
2) Optimized the display of unit icons in battles, providing real-time unit distance and position.
3) Fixed the issue where players using the legendary [Maul] attire - [Flame of Nemean lion] can not use skills after changing weapons in battles.
4) Fixed the display issue of attacker and defender information in the Battle Record.

[Item System]
1) Optimized the prompt when the number of listed items on the Market reached a maximum.


2) Fixed the issue where two options of bound and unbound artillery would appear when players searched for artillery on the Market.
3) Added acquisition method in the event item description.
4) Fixed the issue causing error prompts when players reforged equipment with a full inventory.

[About the [/b]Novice]
1) Fixed the issue that prevented the Weekly Quests of [Flush with Cash] and [Rolling in Dough] from being completed in the Novice Server.
 

III. Bug Fixed and Optimizations


1) Changed the Camera Speed adjustment method into using the [shift] + [mouse wheel] in OB
perspective.
2) Fixed the issue where [the Chain Dart & Scimitar] heroes might not be displayed in the deployment and loading interfaces in the OB perspective.
3) Fixed the issue where the remaining Trebuchet shots were displayed as 0 incorrectly in the OB perspective.
4) Fixed the issue of the free view in [the Hidden City] from the OB perspective.
5) Fixed the issue where hiding the UI and restoring it would incorrectly reset the camera speed in OB perspective.
6) Fixed the issue where the borders of the non-primary unit's Mastery were not displayed in the deployment interface in OB perspective.
7) Fixed the issue where the burning state of the [Serfs] cannot be removed in certain situations.
8) Fixed the issue where the specific value of the recovery effect of Healing Herbs of the [Serfs] was not displayed.
9) Fixed the issue where the node of reducing food consumption in Veterancy for [Serfs] was not taking effect.
10) Optimized the trajectory of [Retiarii]'s Javelin throw to be more linear, and fixed the issue where javelins would disappear prematurely during long-range attacks.
11) Fixed the issue where [Sunward Phalanx] experienced damage loss during [Free Attack] states.
12) Fixed the display issue of the icon and skill description of [Matchlock Ashigaru]'s [Volley] skill on the page.
13) Fixed the inconsistency between the selected spawn point and the actual one for the defending side on the [Hidden City] map.
14) Fixed the abnormal display of Siege Engines for the attacking side on the [Hidden City] map.
15) Fixed the incorrect descriptions for unit defeat quests in the Seasonal Weekly Challenges.

1. [Merchant's Trove] Opens. Here Comes the New Epic Spear Attire [Oath of Loong]!



Info:

  (1). After opening [Merchant's Trove] 10 times, you are guaranteed to get all the rewards, including the epic spear attire [Oath of Loong].
  (2). The first opening of [Merchant's Trove] is free, and the [Vault Key] is required for later opening, with the consumption amount increasing successively.
  (3).  The numbers of [Vault Key] required for 10 openings are: 0, 1, 2, 3, 8, 12, 16, 20, 25, and 30 respectively.
  (4).  For details of rewards and opening chances, please go to the [O] - Event.

2. [All or Nothing] Limited-Event Returns. Fight to Win the Exclusive Alexander Season Weapon Attire!



Info:

  (1).  Stars can be earned by winning consecutive battles in the All or Nothing event. Losing will clear stars earned back to zero. Earn stars to increase your Treasure Trove's quality:
1 star: Iron Treasure Trove
2 stars: Silver Treasure Trove
3 stars: Gold Treasure Trove
  Your first Gold Treasure Trove is bound to give you a Season Weapon Attire Selection Box.

  (2).  Protection Charm will protect you from losing your stars upon defeat.
  Protection Charm: Use them in the deployment stage to prevent losing stars upon defeat. This item is consumed if it takes effect, but returned to you if you win the battle.

  (3).  This time, All or Nothing will adopt a "Leadership Return" mode. No Leadership returns when your units die, and 50% Leadership of the Remaining Forces returns when your units retreat. All units are available for you to deploy except for Alexander Season Units, Chevaliers, and Falconetti Gunners.

  (4).  Additional Rules:
   a. Equipment, Units, and Artillery are all pre-provided. In this All or Nothing, the equipment for heroes is reforged.
   b. The Leadership of each hero is set at 1800.
   c. The attacking side can deploy 2 Rare Artillery, while the defending side can deploy 1 Rare Artillery.
   d.High-star units are not prohibited at the event, allowing for the deployment of up to 5-star units.
   e. Teams are limited to a maximum of 3 players.
   f. The number of Cavalry units that each player can deploy is restricted to a maximum of 3.
   g. Only heroes can interrupt flag captures on all maps; units can no longer interrupt captures.
   h. When heroes respawn or change units at a Supply Point, their units receive a 30% movement speed bonus for 8 seconds.

  (5). Limited-time Warden Missions. Time: 08/01 after maintenance - 08/15 00:00
   a. Participate in 10 All or Nothing battles and achieve a B rating or higher to receive Vault Key*3 and Treatise*2.
   b. Participate in 20 All or Nothing battles and achieve a B rating or higher to receive Vault Key*5 and Treatise*3.
   c.Win 10 All or Nothing battles to receive Vault Key*5 and Treatise*5.

  (6).  Special Restrictions:
   a. At the end of the game, certain quest gains are halved.
   b. Only affects quests that are settled based on total quantity, eg “Get a Troop Kill Score of X or more in any type of Field or Siege battle.” Does not affect quests based on number of battles, such as “Join 5 PvP Battles.”

3. Doctrine Pool Rotation

[Excavation]-[Torn Skies] is now available for a limited time. In [Torn Skies], the chance to excavate epic Archer unit doctrines is increased.

New Doctrine Info:

  Artemis
  Usable on: Archer Infantry
  Unlocks: Double Strings (Cannot be used with Attack Area)
  Doctrine effects: Fire 2 arrows per shot for 12 seconds when the skill is active, but the second one deals 80% damage. Cooldown: 40 seconds (Cannot be upgraded)

(1). Optimized the animation of [Artillery Takeover].
(2). Improved the UI of charging basic attacks with Bows.
 

III. Bug Fixed and Optimizations



  (1). Fixed the issue where the shield position of Psiloi Slingers was incorrectly displayed in certain cases.
  (2). Fixed the issue where some attacks can not correctly hit enemies when Companion Cavalry is equipped with blades.
  (3). Fixed the error where the Labour of Serfs was displaying incorrectly.
  (4). Adjusted the graphics card usage logic of certain laptop models to use discrete graphics card when the shared graphics memory is larger, enhancing the overall game performance.
