It has been a few years since the last update, so it is time for another one. This one makes the game run more reliably on recent versions of Windows and also comes with the usual bunch of bug fixes.

General changes

  • Incorrect price for Witch's standard unit
  • Never get an affliction on a zero damage hit
  • Sleeping units now lose their berserk
  • Magic items with luck also gives a shimmering unit
  • Starting a crusade could start the inquisition too
  • Stability fixes


Windows changes

  • Improved support for recent versions of Windows

This update is mainly to get the sound working again on Macs with the latest version of OSX, but it also contains a few more fixes.

General changes

  • All scrolls didn't work properly
  • The only affect animal weapon attribute didn't work properly
  • Reduced memory usage
  • Removed news screen


Modding changes

  • New command meleeweaponskip
  • meleeweaponbonus gave incorrect effect
  • Scrollbars in mod selection didn't work


Mac OSX changes

  • Portaudio support
  • Portaudio is default for OSX 10.12 and later

Conquest of Elysium 3.25

This update makes Gelatinous Cubes poison resistant as well as fixing a couple of more important things. Conquest of Elysium 4 and Dominons 4 have got most of our attention lately, but finally it is time for this old game. So here is an update to CoE3 for those who haven't got CoE4 as well as those who keep coming back to this old game.

General changes

  • Added some missing special power descriptions
  • Two music tracks could play at once after game over, fixed
  • Gelatinous Cube got poison resistance
  • Fixed bug with weapons reloading forever
  • Tokens could flicker when moving, fixed

Conquest of Elysium 3.23

This update makes the world creation much faster and it speeds up large area effects during combat. This should eliminate the need for fast forward in battles where e.g. an earthquake affects a large army. There are also some balance improvements and the usual bug fixes.

Conquest of Elysium 3.21

This is the first version available for Android as well. Some of the new features implemented for android are now available on the PC version as well, such as configurable text size and improved performance in order to run well on phones.

Conquest of Elysium 3 for Android

Conquest of Elysium 3 has now been released for Android Tablets as well. It has almost all the features of the PC version minus network and modding. You can find the game on the Play Store.

It is possible to run the game on a phone as well, but you need a large screen to play it comfortably. A 7 inch or larger screen is recommended.

Expect an update to the PC version soon. This will bring some of the new features developed for Android to the PC as well.

Conquest of Elysium 3.20

With this update Conquest of Elysium 3 has got more diverse societies. The number and type of independents are more bound to the type of society and there some special features have been added to the Empire and the Dawn of a New Empire. The capital of the Empire now has an emperor and spawns wandering soldiers and peddlars. The new capital in Dawn of a new Empire got a group of counsilors.

A second demon mastery did not always result in more spells, fixed.

Necrotod only hypnotizes every second round.
