Updated the scoreboard, I moved "cheats server" text since it was cutting out. I also updated the locked door icon to always draw (from action_ entities) instead of only drawing if you held the keys. Flatline shop system has also been overhauled.
Playtesters have been checking the latest build in checking the new freelancer maps, Subway and CrossStreet! Mike is working on detailing and optimizing the maps, and feels pretty great to play on. Going to be doing some more bug fixes as we prepare for a launch of the new freelancer maps.
This week I have been working on the second minigames map, and modifying the new apocalypse maps to fit gameplay better, as well as adding cheaper zombies to pad out this new campaign.
Added weapon Scifi Revolver. Ammo pickup effects have been updated and now look a little better (and work a lot better under the hood). Exploding barrels now behave a little different when triggered by explosive damage; less delay before actually exploding and have cooler looking explosion effect. Ammo display stuff now has a little visual indication when you either pick up ammo or try to fire a weapon with no ammo. Green when you grab more bullets, red when you are out.

Finished our initial scripting passes on our Apocalypse level and have been dressing up the environments. Should have 2 of the 3 levels ready for our Halloween update. I’ve also been working on the new weapon audio so we can include a lot more weapons. Zombie Hordes on the way!

Hello everyone, here is the latest dev blog! Come check on what the team has been working on.
Finished the entire new UI and fixed a few maps and went through all the broken and/or corrupt navigation mesh. In a future soonish update, we will be seeing the new host system in place replacing the more obsolete lobby system. This will include simple matchmaking and easier join on friends without the endless wait time some have experienced through the current lobby system.
Party System > Lobby System
The phone objective text has been updated to be color code supported. This will make objectives easier to keep track of, and mapper will be able to add colors to phone messages. It is supported by both Angelscript and V-script

Currently going through Wwise trying to track down audio bugs and resolve them.
Been working on CVRO, about to push a build to our play testers, but playing internally we have fixed the sniper sequence severe lag issue, we haven’t had any issues with it on our end. Mike has jumped in to help add in 2 new maps for the upcoming freelancer mode. Currently polishing the play areas and perfecting a play time. We are going to need play-testers. I’ve recently completed scripting passes on Desert Area 01, 02 and War Area 03. I’m also giving them audio passes adding ambiance and sfx to make these levels a bit more immersive. This also includes balancing and gameplay changes for the levels.

Level bypass fix and New game mode update!
Survivors! The time has come for the new Freelancer mode and the big bug fixes. In this update we have added the long awaited level bypass fix and the sniper sequence fix. This will go live effective immediately! In the mean time Mike is working on 2 new maps to be included for future updates to Freelancer mode!
In the new freelancer mode, you will have a set amount of time to rack up as many kills and points as possible. Through out each map you will be able to find Merc timer points, in which you can extend your game play length to rack up and attempt to score a 5 star rating. Do you think you have what it takes to get all 5 stars? There are 3 loadouts to choose from, be careful with the grenade launcher, its a bit risky to use. You spawn with only 1 magazine, get kills to get more ammo!
And we did include the level bypass, no longer shall Vacancy and Charlie be locked!

Finally got some time to work on the bypass for the Steam build. Monitor button fixed and Sniper sequence performance spike has been fixed. Freelancer mode has also been added in the QA build. Hello everyone, here is the latest dev blog! Come check on what the team has been working on.
I have fixed AA options locking up the game. (This happened when you tried to apply the same buffer twice.) The new Shop UI system for Flatline is also nearly finished. It just needs a few more tweaks before it's ready for testing. Montclair has also been updated. it's entire nav mesh was remade from scratch to fix the zombie ladder crash issue. Some minor nav optimisations has also been done to make the flow for the AI to be better. Also, updated the localization system in Source. It's now reading the language from cl_language basically, you can now set different languages within the game (restart is required though).
I pulled a new weapon animation out of my hat, much to the surprise of probably everyone! See a preview here:

I implemented the new Flatline exclusive weapon, M79 Grenade Launcher. And also creating a new shop system for Flatline. You will be able to buy weapons as normal, except this time they do not come with attachments. You will also be able to buy attachments separately for each weapon (that supports attachments). More purchasable upgrades will be added later on, as the system is slowly being expanded upon.
Headcount is in testing for PlayStation compatibility, and I am working on adding DualShock controller compatibility to the game as I am aware not everyone owns two move controllers!

Continuing scripting for the new levels, nothing super exciting to show off there. I’m also assisting Lawrence on the PS4 side with adding some PSVR specific assets for the menu, plus correcting the controller angle/position (which, while I had a whole system set up to configure this on the PC side, is having some non-obvious issues with the PSVR controllers)

Hello everyone, here is the latest dev blog! Come check on what the team has been working on.
Last week, updated ce_roanokepd, music tracks for Roanoke (2 new tracks was added called Cellblock and Lurking). Randomised chief path area and updated weapon_extinguisher spawns (now it has a proper metal box, or what you wanna call it). Added 2 angry cars in the garage of roanoke, try not to shoot em (oof). Updated WWise stuff and added VolumeMusicCustom audio bus for Contagion example project. Lastly, fixed IED having faulty flashlight position.
Playstation VR port is now running at a good framerate on the base model PS4 and will be going through sony checks soon!

Hello everyone, here is the latest dev blog! Come check on what the team has been working on.
Updated video configurations, video presets and "potato" quality are now a thing (though, its WIP). Removed duplicate video configuration strings. Finished the handcannon code, cleaned up the handcannon QC and fixed the fire .smd animation files missing the camera bone (caused it to rotate 90 degrees, whoopsies). Updated the interior texture for the handcannon.
I updated Hammer Editor (Fixed a massive oversight on the brush picker on 3D view). Basically, it never got the "depth" of the objects and only returned the most negative value possible. TLDR: Hammer is actually functional now. I also added "Reload Models" into Hammer, where you can reload all models and their textures in your current session without needing to restart the program. (It's actually a really dumb hack, but shhh)
New RNG routes are being worked into RoanokePD, see paths that were once blocked off? Now they are only sometimes blocked off.

Lastly, worked in Car alarms in, which will attract nearby zombies, so be careful where you shoot. ;)
HeadCount is now fully playable on PSVR, still optimizing the game to try and squeeze more out of the PS4 base model and refining the controls but should very soon have the game submitted for testing by Sony.

I finished the revive system when using a defibrillator on Flatline, but the assets aren't really there yet (models, and temp animation for revive and dying). I, also, fixed some bugs on Flatline where you wouldn't get any money from stealth kills (the melee kill animations). Updated lobby system (Fixed where it did not respond with proper error msgs), lobby settings, player legs. Added missing player legs - No more Jessica legs because yess
Added some fixes for example, kill feed for bots, fixed cpo version of roanoke not working. And updated the AI on Panic! (CPC = alerts when infection happens | CPO - no auto alert state)-

I hopped on to Contagion to add new weapon animations for the Handcannon:
I've been porting HeadCount to Playstation VR, it’s a slow process but progress is being made. Fixed a load of crashes caused by porting it, and currently getting the game up to spec for smooth 60fps VR on the base model.
