Added a Carrier, new type of zombie, to Zombie Panic Game modes! Also, updated the game mode to allow faster weapon switching for survivors and jumping reduces stamina drain on zombies. Released patch 2.1.6.3. which is the current version.
Last week worked on implementing the new minigames and started the process for Playstation port. Added double handed gripping functionality. So, two handing is in! Hope you are all excited!

Added item_money for flatline. Money now gets spawned from the zombies when they get killed. Assisted players still get instant money. The money also cannot be picked up by other players. The entity also fly forwards the player after 3 seconds if they do not pick it up.
Added new thirdperson animations for survivors (such as the fire extinguisher finally having their own animations)

Hello everyone, we are back for Dev blogs! It has been a while and we want to keep folks informed what everyone on the team has worked on.
Contagion
#TeamJohan has been making more progress on the game with more bug fixing and crashes. He also has been prototyping snow particles this week on Aurora estates.

In the next patch, Zombie difficulty has been adjusted. Shooting their dead bodies won't kill them as quickly as before, basically, their bodies are bullet sponges. Their main weak point is now their heads. Flatline got a small update, money now drops when the zombie gets killed. The money also moves to the player after 3 seconds, so you don't need to worry about picking it up. The engine got updated; what this means is that x64 bit is slowly getting more stable. More news to come, when I can. x64 bit Release date is still TBA.

#TeamMonochrome last week we released HeadCount into early access. This week each team member has been working on polish and new content!
#TeamLawrence has made some cool new prototyped minigames, with the hope of adding a new one tonight. There are now 7 Preset Skeet modes to choose from. Check out the gifs!
#TeamBrian has been working on the Sony submission process. The team convened this week, and Brian will also be following up on HTC Viveport submission process.

New Options UI
The entire options has been redesigned to not only support controller input, but also splitscreen and controller configurations. This means that "Console Mode" will be removed from the boot selection (when clicking on Play button on Steam). You can however still force the game in console mode using the startup parameter "--controller_mode".

2020.03.04 News update!
Hey everyone! Here is the latest on Contagion.
Split screen is finally fixed! Awesome work Johan!
From Johan: "I fixed the sniper scope being oof on splitscreen. I also, figured out why "Refract" texture is all oof on splitscreen (and why valve removed it from l4d2 xbox version). Its because they didn't make it check the splitscreen viewport at all, so it goes all oof if splitscreen is enabled. Very nice. I fixed it by adding a simple "if splitscreen, don't be oof."
CE_LastStop New Escape Map in the works! At the moment, the map is only on SVN build (part 3 taking some time, and since Johan can't do any work tomorrow, it will take just a bit longer)

You may recognize the first part as the Hunted mode map Union Station. We have utilized it for the new escape map. As well as an older unused train assets.
