The original version of Contradiction is now on the 'LegacyContradiciton' branch.
New overhaul!
This update (for Windows only) has had a complete overhaul, with new interface, better controller handling, better video quality and much improved audio quality. The game also now autosaves to ensure you'll never lose any progress, even if the game closes without exiting.
Replies review option added
The option to review all character's previous replies to items has now been added to the mouse control UI when accessing the inventory outside an interview (this was already available through the keys UI).
Cloud storage option
Small update - the new menu now has the option to choose between cloud or local storage, by default if the Steam client is running the game saves to the Steam cloud, but the option to save locally has now been added to the new menu.
Sorry for any confusion caused - if you've been saving locally this new option should allow you to recover those game saves.
New Controls
I've just published a major update to the controls for the game - you now have the option to play either with mouse only or with keyboard, by clicking the icon in the bottom right.
Due to bugs in the third-party software I'm using I've been unable to fix the USB controller issues, so controller support has now been removed.
Pirating
Just a word about pirating this game - if you would like to see a sequel there's going to be no chance of one if everyone pirates it! Steam is the ONLY official seller of this game, so if you find it anywhere else it's an illegal copy which will not be updated.

Some broken captions and minor bugs have been fixed for this update, which is now live - not yet solved the Windows controller issue but working on it!
Subtitles!
Hi - just a quick update to say that there WILL be subtitles in the game! Also a game controller issue has been addressed, so now looking forward to the launch tomorrow!

Contradiction for PC and Mac will be released on July 10th! There are currently issues with the Linux version but hopefully that release date will include the Linux version too!
