Hello, Director! It's time for our monthly virtual photography showcase.
March has indeed been special for Control. We released a free update for PC which included HDR, graphical improvements, and unlocked some previously released content, such as outfits for Jesse, to all owners of Control on Steam.
Thank you to everyone who has sent us positive feedback about this update, and thank you all for the patience as the update took a bit of time to release on all the platforms mentioned above. There's a very small, but hardworking and dedicated team working on this update at Remedy, so your feedback is always heard and appreciated.
And of course, as we debuted the gameplay trailer for FBC: Firebreak this month, which heavily features sticky notes, we simply had to feature a virtual photograph with sticky notes at the top of this blog. Unlocking all the outfits for Jesse to more players also resulted in them featuring in some of the Faden Friday submissions this month.
Hey everyone! This is Julius, Community Manager on FBC: Firebreak and boy do I have a treat for you today! I’m happy to share with you our second Community Look video where the FBC: Firebreak dev team gives you a closer look on how Jobs in the game work and what was the driving philosophy behind the gameplay of FBC: Firebreak. Have a look below to get a behind-the-scenes look on FBC: Firebreak!
Community First Look – Jobs & Gameplay
If you’re not familiar with FBC: Firebreak, it’s a 3-player cooperative first-person shooter set within the enigmatic Federal Bureau of Control (FBC). As the Bureau’s headquarters faces a deadly and prolonged siege by otherworldly forces, only Firebreak—its most adaptable response unit—has the skills and courage to restore order.
FBC: Firebreak is coming to Steam in Summer 2025 so Wishlist it now!
Hello everyone! This is Julius, Community Manager, on FBC: Firebreak. Today I’m very excited to reveal to you one of the Jobs in FBC: Firebreak – Paper Chase!
FBC: Firebreak – Gameplay Trailer
In Paper Chase you descend deep into The Oldest House, the Executive Sector to be more precise, where endlessly replicating Sticky Notes have run amok. However, these Sticky Notes won’t go down without a fight, and the Hiss are of course there to hinder you every step of the way. Quite the mess.
As you make your way deeper into The Executive Sector, you’ll face the biggest Sticky Note creature of them all: Sticky Ricky. Complete your objectives and get the hell out of there in one piece, or risk getting left behind by your crewmates. A job completed is what The Federal Bureau of Control prioritizes after all.

We're happy to announce that all owners of Control Ultimate Edition will be receiving a free content update. This includes three outfits, a previously platform-exclusive mission, HDR, DLSS 4, and several other improvements. Read on for the full update notes!

Today is World Photo Day and what better way to celebrate than by pointing our virtual lenses to focus on the incredible virtual photographers in the Control community. The virtual photography community is so special, welcoming and supportive of one another. Last month, we asked existing players if they had any advice for newcomers to Control’s photo mode tools. And of course, you didn’t hiss-appoint with your responses.
