The last update released as beta is working fine and is causing no issues, so here's a new 2.7.1 patch containing previous updates and a number of minor fixes. Special thanks to all of you, who helped us by playing on the beta branch and providing feedback. You guys are the best :)

We have disabled the beta branch and all the following improvements are now available by default:
Sponge fix🧽 The sponge is going to clean the stains, as it should.
New burger mechanics🍔 There's a new item - Skewer, which can be used to stick all the burger components. It comes in 3 sizes and can be bought using the cardboard boxes. Of course, there's also the bottom burger bun!
Fixes for minor settings and localization issues⚙️

Improved burgers and sponge fix available on the beta branch!

There's a new update available on the beta branch. It contains a fix for the sponge as well as improved burger mechanics.
How to access the beta branch: 1. Find Cooking Simulator in your Steam library, right-click on it and choose 'Properties'. 2. On the new window go the the 'BETAS' tab. 3. From the drop-down menu choose 'beta'. 4. Close the window and update the game.

Additionally, we've reset the scores in Leaderboards Challenge for all the burgers, so make sure you give it a try!🍔

The next reward is highly anticipated Chaos Tool. It's going to be a great addition for those of you who love wrecking your kitchens and focus on pure joy of destruction rather cooking. Since there's quite a lot of features for this update, you could even call it the Chaos Multitool:
Shooting ignited firecrackers. Initially we wanted it to shoot darts but firecrackers sound like more fun!💥🧨
Shooting beams that mess with the gravity of individual objects. Houston, we're about to have a problem!🛰️🌌👨🚀
Shooting beams that change the scale of objects. Ever wanted to spend some time in the kitchen with a human-sized banana?🔼🔽🍌
Shooting chosen objects. You pick an item you want to use as ammo and the Chaos Tool can shoot is as much as you want.🍅🥦🥕 🔫
A beam which swapps objects for other random objects. Because why not!🍎⚗️🥩

As for the previous reward, there's going to be a new skewer and bottom bun in the game so you can stick all the burger components and serve it nice and tasty 🍔😋 The burger update will be available next week!
Cakes and Cookies is going to be without a doubt the most ambitious update Cooking Simulator has ever received. It's going to add a ton of brand-new mechanics allowing you to bake, decorate and sell custom delicious sweets without the need to strictly follow recipes, not to mention a completely new environment, ingredients and tools.
Unfortunately, the last few weeks have been a little crazy. First, our team has been decimated by some hardcore flu. Now due to the situation caused by COVID-19, we've had to reorganise ourselves to work remotely and take special measures to protect our and our friends' and families' health. We kindly ask you to do the same. Take care of yourselves and #stayathome, if you can!
With that being said, we've decided to take some more time for polishing and adding that final touch this expansion deserves. We want to be sure that once Cakes and Cookies are released, all the new content and features are there working well.
Cakes and Cookies expansion is coming late April. It's like inviting guests for the opening of your confectionery. You want to make sure all the cookies are placed on the trays looking and tasting nice🍰

Kitchen Decoration unlocked!

New patch available now!
Hi Chefs! There's a new patch available including a number of minor fixes that some of you guys have been asking for. Below's a full list:
Fixed weird bugs related to the blowtorch Many chefs have reported strange blowtorch behaviour. The thing couldn't be picked up and istead it started flying around the kitchen and disappearing into the unknown after a while. That was obviously not intended but you guys don't need to worry anymore. Those of you who can't resist playing with fire will notice that your favourite tool is back to normal!
Increased the minimum resolution We've already lost track of the number of people asking for help when they couldn't read any texts after their resolution was set to the lowest available. Since it's 2020, we've figured that nobody's going to play any game in such archaic resolutions as 640x480 anyway. The lowest settings have been bumped up a little so all the texts should be readable. If you still have some problems, please let us know!
Smaller fixes:
Fixes a number of minor errors causing breaking the input and making the game unplayable by not responding to controls
SUPERHOT recipes will no longer appear in other game modes. That was obviously not intended.
Locked out store items that have no use in current game mode. To save you guys some time and make buying more transparent, store will no longer display such items.
