Progression Mode

• New Progression Mode: Available in character customization (On by Default, this mode introduces pacing up to the Spider Boss fight, making the early game feel less overwhelming.
  
  
  
• Linear Gemstone Quests: In this mode, Gemstone Quests follow a linear order, starting with Naomi’s Foot stuck & Hideout Quest and progressing through Stanley, Vincent/Brianna, and the Spider Boss.
  
• Old Mines: The mines remain closed until you've advanced in Penelope’s Gemstone Quest.
  
• Card Packs: These are disabled until Stanley’s Apple Gemstone Quest is completed.
  
• Skill-Up Rewards: Available only after Brianna’s Orange Gemstone Quest is completed.
  
• Item Adjustments: Munger now sends the throwing ball in summer instead of at the start, and the storage shed includes two random breeding nuts.
  
• Winter Cutscene: This farm cutscene now triggers later, after Brianna’s Gemstone Quest is complete and the mines reopen, followed by a cooking tutorial popup.
  
• Animal Breeding Tutorial: The breeding popup in the barn is disabled until you’ve obtained your first cow or horse.
  
• Drop Types: Drop types on the farm are limited during the first two weeks to simplify the beginning.
  

Intro Adjustments:

• Changed the positioning of Rufus, Munger, and the player during the intro and arrival at the farm.
  
• Naomi’s secret hideout can now be triggered starting at 6pm, instead of 8pm, outside Granary Level 2.
  
• Hotbar automatically switches to slot one when entering the farm after the intro.
  

V3 Portraits

• Updated Visuals: Remaining character portraits have been updated to newly designed V3 versions.
  

Bug Fixes

• Fixed an issue where Naomi’s bridge cutscene would incorrectly switch the camera.
  
• Resolved Naomi facing backward in her hideout cutscene.
  
• Fixed a bug where moving the fishing rod from the hotbar would leave the bait circle on the screen.
  
• Corrected an issue where the fishing bait slot wouldn’t appear after dropping the rod from the backpack onto the active hotbar.
  
• Fixed a bug where reloading a save on day 2 could result in receiving two random trees.
