August Patch Live!
Thanks to everyone who already played the Cortex Protocol Demo. Today we are shipping a patch to improve the player experience.

What we did:

- We redesigned the main menu.

- We added a new level.

- Fixed minor bugs and glitches.

Please let us know on the Steam forums or the Cortex Protocol subreddit if there is anything we have missed!

GDPR Patch on May 25th
After downloading the new update you can opt out of our analytics. The unity link provided in the Main Menu level will explain everything you need to know.

Also remember to restart the game if you decide to opt out since the changes do not take place unless the game is closed and launched again.

Demo patch #1 is live!
Thanks to everyone who already played the Cortex Protocol Demo. Today we are shipping a patch to fix some common issues that people have encountered.


  • Levels 1 to 3 have been redesigned.
  • Movement is now HMD oriented; the touchpad moves you in all four directions.
  • Movement now also takes a split second before it goes full speed, preventing unwanted moves when accidentally pressing the touchpad.
  • Fixed graphics being too low quality on both the headset and the 2d display
  • Fixed broken key cubes still looking like keys but not doing anything.
  • Fixed audio balancing issues.
  • Fixed left hand glitching out.
  • Fixed minor bugs and glitches that broke some of the levels.
