The biggest COVID Kawaii! update yet! I appreciate everyone who played during Early Access, your feedback was extremely valuable in making this game the best that it can be. Two and a half years really flew by, and as the sole developer on this game I'm pretty excited to finally have a fully polished product. I have to say Episode 3 is my best work yet, with some really unique mechanics and an epic climax to the COVID Kawaii! trilogy.

Summer Sickness is upon us! More levels! More defenders! More of those pesky cowonas!
Happy to finally release Episode 2: Summer Sickness! I was debating on naming it "Summer Stupidity" as the events in the game take place in the Summer of 2020.. smh. I'm a little behind my anticipated schedule as it's been a rough year and it's just myself working on this in my free time. When the game was first developed, things were quite different, but I'm happy to report that we now have a vaccine!!!!!!!!
Future Plans I initially announced that I would be donating a percentage of proceeds for the year of 2020. As time moved forward it became painfully clear that the effects of COVID-19 will be much more long lasting than I had expected at the time; As such, I will be donating 25% of the proceeds indefinitely. Previously the donations were being sent to bapscharities.org COVID-19 relief fund, they do great charitable work around the globe with a current focus in India. Any future donations will be going to them and potentially other organizations who are distributing vaccines to those who currently need it most.
I really hope you enjoy this update as the content has more than doubled from the initial release! Get me to 1000 downloads and I'll make a PvP mode *wink

Can now access Episode 2: Summer Sickness from main menu after completing Breakfast Aisle level.
Defenders can now be purchased an any order!
Survival cash bonus for completing non-ranked levels. Less grindy!
Pandemic modes removed. Normal/Hard modes renamed to Epidemic/Pandemic.
Pandemic modes (previously hard) unlock after completing each level on Epidemic (previously normal)
Foaming Cleaner no longer does damage, has increased slowdown, and has upgradable range.
Fixed issue with Foaming Cleaner not targeting enemies.
Added lock icons and checkmarks to the main menus to make it more intuitive.
Dish Soap now does more damage, but attacks slower.
Fixed an issue with viewing virus strain menu, you can now see all viruses details for the current level.
Cowona animation speeds now correctly match the current game speed modifier.
Fixed an issue with Rolling 'Rona's animation being jerky and timed incorrectly.
Reduced TP cost of some higher cost defenders.

Twitch Mode Changes
Now only active, chatting viewers will only be added to the TP Hoarder leaderboard (No more bots!)
Fixed an issue, when loading a game into twitch mode, where it didn't properly connect to twitch.

COVID Kawaii! Update: Twitch Mode - Play with Viewers!
Twitch Mode let's your Twitch viewers play along, betting on your survival and competing for most TP.
Features
Viewers earn TP while watching the stream, top 10 TP hoarders are displayed on screen.
Viewers can bet TP on whether you will lose or win the next 5 waves.
Viewers can spend TP on game altering actions, to help or hurt the streamer.
Twitch bits donated are translated into bonus TP for viewers. 1 bit = 10 TP
Commands and their cost are listed for viewers on screen.
Optional built in webcam frame, chromakey this to have game effects display over your cam feed.
Viewer Commands
!tp - Check how much TP you have.
!winbet x (x=amount to bet) - Bet that the streamer will win the next 5 waves.
!losebet x (x=amount to bet) - Bet that the streamer will lose within the next 5 waves.
!sneeze - A random tower is disabled in snot and can't attack for a period of time.
!bigsneeze - All towers are disabled in snot and can't attack for a period of time.
!cough - Cough up a group of viruses for the streamer to deal with.
!bigcough - Cough up a virus boss to terrorize the streamer.
!upgrade - Upgrade a random tower for the streamer by 1 level.
!bigupgrade - Upgrade ALL towers for the streamer by 1 level.
!wipe - Wipe away 50% of the viruses on the screen.
!bigwipe - Wipe away ALL of the viruses on the screen.
Twitch Mode is currently considered beta as I'm sure the Twitch community will push the game to new limits. Streamers please let me know of any suggestions or feedback here on the Steam discussion forums. As the outcome can be altered by your viewers, I've added separate Steam leaderboards for Twitch streamers to compete against each other. Big shoutout to Twitch streamers Enraged_Giggle and ItsJustDemo for helping with the initial testing.
