In efforts to streamline player's on boarding experience we've introduced a new starting area that is smaller and simpler than the large town area. We hope it helps people get into games and and playing with each other quicker.

Update: New Weapon - The Rifle!
Today we pushed out an update that introduces a new gun to the game. We also added the ability to hold the shotgun and the rifle with two hands.
Rifle Features:
- Heavy damage with a slower fire rate.
- Can be held with two hands giving better stability for long shots.
- Melee bonus when hitting with the butt of the gun.
Have fun and as always let us know if you run into any bugs or have any suggestions.

Big Update! 8 New Maps!
Hey everyone,
Update 2 has a ton more for you to explore! Each of the 4 game modes now rotates between 3 different levels making for 12 maps in total.
Each of the 12 maps is based on one of three different world areas: The Saloon, The Train Station and The brand new Mine.

Single Player Update #1 now LIVE!!
Players are now able to fight against or along side AI Bots in Free-For-All and Team Deathmatch!
No more deserted ghost towns! Wa-hoo!

The Scumbots are coming! (Single Player on it's way)
Hey everybody!
Since launching Cowbots and Aliens in November our small team has been working tirelessly to address the glaring problem that there is nothing to do in game when no one else is around. Rest assured the solution is well on it's way!
Cowbots and Aliens is getting BOTS! Soon you will be able to battle in your favourite game mode along side and against enemy AIs.
We also have plans for a CO-OP wave mode featuring the dreaded Scumbots!
Also in the works are several new levels which will be added to the existing game modes allowing players to cycle through different locations making for more varied experiences.
These new features will be rolled out in a series of updates over the next several weeks. The first of these updates will introduce our new BOT AI and be available before Christmas. Keep an eye out!
Thanks for your suggestions and patience as we develop Cowbots and Aliens through it's Early Access phase.
