I have a new feature in todays update, this is the new jobs update (quests) and this is the first iteration of this feature, there are currently 2 quests in the game but this is just to beta test this weekend and ensure it works fine without any crashes / bugs
If all goes well then i will add a lot more quests on Monday, oh and whilst were on the subject, i will be away again this weekend until Monday so the updates will continue then :)
So here's a little rundown on the update, every 5 - 15 levels (random) you will get offered a job which will appear on your screen like a little scroll to inform you that you have a job waiting, if you click this scroll (or click the exclamation icon on the trainer profile) it will take you to the job
You can either accept or decline the terms of the Job and then either way it will go onto a timer of 5 - 15 levels again before you are offered a new job,
If you don't decline or accept then the job will remain there, you can do this if you want to keep a job and save up for the terms of it

Update #5 - Introducing the Raptor, Rock Golem & Ankylo
Hey Guys
Hope you all had a great day
Quite a big update for you guys, i have added 3 new creatures, these creatures can be tamed at level 96+ at the Sarak Desert
They give a base DPS of 20 and they are harder to level than the Phoenix but provide a much higher DPS per level
Also i have added the Rat Loot which brings me on to a massive change to how the loot system works, loot is now creature specific and it will only drop when you have an eligible creature equipped, if you open a chest and you do not have a creature than can currently obtain loot then you will not get loot, however if you have a creature selected that can, then the loot will always be relevant to that creature selected. this will make it easier to farm loot for a specific creature
On that note, you can also get loot from silver chests now but it's at a much rarer chance. three times rarer to be specific
Fixes & Touches:
Gold now shows on the trainer skill page (thanks Kaela!)

Mini Update - The Skill Tree Update!
Hey Guys
Just a small update for today, i haven't had much sleep over the past few days so i'm going to catch up tonight and then release 4.2 tomorrow
This update adds the start of the Trainer skill tree (gold sink) which allows you to indefinitely upgrade your Trainer for an ever growing cost
You can access the skill tree by going to the Trainer Profile and clicking the button below the player level
Fixes:
Achievement check optimizations
Flotsam no longer upgrades by 8 enchants per click
Potential game breaking bug has been squashed!

Update #4.1 - Deer Loot & Auto Picker
Hey Guys
Hope you all had a great day
In this update you can now unlock Deer loot in the same way you have unlocked Wasp loot.
I have isolated an error in the loot code, unfortunately it means you guys may need to reset your Wasp Loot. If you don't have the achievements then please go to your Player Profile and in the bottom left you will see an X button, double click this button to reset your Wasp Loot.
Sorry guys but it was either this or a total wipe so i did it this way.
NEW FEATURE: THE AUTO PICKUP
You guys asked for a way to idle gold pickups and here it is!
Ok so a new feature has also been added, the Auto Pickup which can be obtained from the trainer profile page and can be upgraded twice for a sum of money
These are the items:
Common Auto Pickup: $100,000 (moves quick and spawns slow)
Rare Auto Pickup: $200,000 (moves slower and spawns quicker)
Epic Auto Pickup: $300,000 (moves super slow and spawns really quick)

Update #4 - The Loot Update (Partial)
Hey Guys
Hope you all had a great weekend
So i've got the very first iteration of the loot system released, this update currently applies to the Wasp pet and will soon be available for every creature in the game
So now when you open Treasure Chests there is a small chance you will get loot that comes in various rarities,
Here they are
Common I, II, II
Uncommon I, II, III
Rare I, II, III
Epic I, II, III
The higher you are up the chain, then the higher the DPS increase and ILVL will be.
There are also 10 new achievements for you to work towards, all centered around the new loot update

Update #4 - The Loot Update (Delayed Till Monday!)
Hey Guys
So i've been working none stop tonight trying to get the first iteration of the loot system out for you guys so you could get your hands on it this weekend but there's so much more work than i anticipated, however i thought i would give you guys a preview of the system that's coming into place on Monday
So each creature will have 5 loot items that can be found from gold chests and dungeons (ooooh spoilers!) and each item has 4 rarities that are split into 3 level
For example:
Epic I
Epic II
Epic III
Each of the rarities, increase the DPS by 5 if you're lucky enough to find it

Update #3 - Treasures & Loot
Hey Guys
Hope you are all good today
Todays update addressed a few bugs from yesterdays update, it has put the framework in place for tomorrows update and also introduced some extra features to bring even further interactivity to the game, you can now find treasure chests that drop from random creatures
These treasure chests come in 2 varieties, silver and gold. The silver chests drop a small amount of gold and the gold chests drop a lot more
These chests will appear on the side of your screen, if you have more than one then you can click through them one after the other
These chests currently only provide gold but they are the framework for the next big update which will be the loot update, you will be able to find gear for creatures of different rarities
You will also notice gold dropping on the floor now, scroll your mouse over this gold to pick it up, gold is now a little easier to farm but you are being rewarded for being active as the gold will vanish after 30 seconds if it's not picked up

Update #2 - An Enchanting Update
Hey Guys
How you all doing?
Well it's been a crazy weekend, thank you guys again for your support and suggestions. I am here to bring you update #2 which brings enchanting onto the table in Creature Clicker. Enchanting? i hear you say.. well enchanting is a feature that gives the game more interactivity which is what a lot of reviewers were saying that the game lacked and to be fair, they had a point so i have expanded on this.
Enchanting:
Enchanting is a feature that lets you spend some gold on increasing the DPS of a creature, all the way up to a maximum of 250 enchants. You can enchant a stage 1 creature to 100 and then a stage 2 creature to 200 and then finally a fancy stage 3 creature can be enchanted to 250.
This also gives the creature ascension system more reason to be used
How do i enchant?
You will find the enchant button just below the Ascend button on the creature overlay screen, you will also notice that the Ascension button has changed, i switched the sprite for ascension with the enchanting button just because they make more sense that way

Update #1 - Profiles!

I've just got back from my vacation and i'm working my way through the errors that have been reported over the weekend. i have decided to quote the report and then do a follow-up so that you guys know i'm reading your comments and listening to your feedback so here we go!
Error #1:
Lets start a thread with all error code we get in the game so its easier for the dev to get an overview :)

Error #2:
'crafting' (upgrades for starter pet, flame dragon in this case) say 'not available until level 15'. Enabled for me at level 11, despite being 'baby char' instead of juvenile.
Both the first sword and first armor were something I was allowed to create
you can open the crafting menu before level 15 and also craft things
Thank you for the report guys, this has been addressed and is now fixed in the latest hotfix!
Error #3:
I craft the second armor, but the picture is still gray and it shows me how much Resources i need. And always when i click some were in the crafting menu the levelup line from my dragon pops up.
I had enough bronze and 5 silvers, so I tried to craft the Silver Caparace, but it didn't work (and some lines from my dragon appeared too). But then I tried crafting the Weapon of Resolve and it worked... even though it needs 6 silvers. I could have found one when I was in the crafting menu, but maybe something's broken here ;)

Feature #1 - Level Ascension!
i went back stages and i not sure, but is there a way to go back up? (i had the smart idea to go all the way back to 3 from 37)
This has been added, thank you for the suggestion, after level 5 you can now ascend back up to the highest level you have already reached by right clicking the new ascend button on the top right near the descend button
Feature #2 - Profiles!
You guys have been shouting out for this feature, so here it is. You can now choose between 6 different profiles that you can switch to on the fly. Each profile will have its own stats so if you have any friends or you want a different dragon breed then you can switch between them

I'm overwhelmed by the response the game has received so far, obviously there are going to be some negative reviews and some bugs / suggestions as it's just launched into early access but so far most of the feedback has been positive and supportive / constructive
Next week will be the first update for Creature Clicker and based on reviews will be adding some early game unlocks to aim for and it will be adding some midgame items to unlock for your creatures
