Hello, survivors! Let’s continue to explore the new features of the upcoming “Wasteland drift” season. In this entry, we would like to tell you about the legendary crossbow and the epic light wheels. So that’s who’s been messing around with the plasma. The next update will also have the new relic plasma emitter!
We remind you that all the new features described in the “Developer blog” are not final and may be changed before they are introduced into the game or may not make it into the game at all. This applies not only to information about possible unique features of new parts, but also to the appearance of the parts themselves.
The “Fukibari” legendary crossbow
The new weapon has come a long way since the time of its medieval ancestor with the help of Syndicate high technology.
“Fukibari” shoots a burst of three spikes that deal damage and attach to the enemy. The projectiles heat up the part they stuck to and deal periodic damage to it. If you find yourself attacked by the new crossbow and end up with the spikes stuck in your car, we advise you to seek out an ally who can help shoot them off before it’s too late.
The most efficient way to use “Fukibari” is to aim for the largest and most durable enemy parts. The weapon’s high periodic damage would allow you to severely damage such parts.
The “Uwabaki” epic light wheels
To complement the new light cabin, the Syndicate has also prepared new light wheels. “Uwabaki” encourage active play in the thick of battle.
For each enemy within a small radius of you, “Uwabaki” increase the power of your armoured car. The perk has a limit on the number of counted enemies. The most important thing is not to crash into enemies! If you make contact with an enemy, the bonus resets. Being careful and bold at the same time is the key to unlocking the potential of “Uwabaki”.
The “Nemesis” relic plasma emitter
The new relic weapon is not part of the new Battle pass. “Nemesis” is crafted at a workbench, like the other relic parts.
Dawn’s children send their regards. The new relic is the crowning achievement of the plasma emitter technology branch. A powerful and super-technological weapon capable of slaughtering anyone with bursts of glowing plasma. The relic weapon requires charging to fire, but if you wait a bit, the “Nemesis” perk will cancel out this drawback.
While you are not firing, the weapon accumulates charges up to a certain limit. One such charge significantly speeds up the charging of a volley. If you use the mechanic correctly and do not try to jump into the fight on the front line, then a little later you will have a great chance to enter the battle on your own terms and leave melted wrecks of enemies in your path.
New structural parts
And what about the new PvP map? Let’s turn to the next blog entry for answers. It’s coming soon, stay tuned.
[Mass testing] New blueprints tab
Hello!
We are currently working on a new blueprints tab. There are a lot of significant changes planned for this rework. That’s why we would like to invite you to our test server and try out the new interface we have drafted. Your feedback would be very helpful to the development team.
We remind you that all the new features described and shown in this news article are not final and may be changed before they are introduced into the game or may not be implemented into the game at all. You can familiarize yourself with all the planned changes in detail on the special test server!
New features
We have removed the blueprint slots from the main screen. They have been replaced by a pop-up panel where you can add any blueprint for quick selection in the garage. Thanks to optimisation, the maximum possible number of stored blueprints has been increased to 50 (#FreeTheBlueprints).
The “Blueprints” button now opens a full-fledged tab instead of a side list in the garage. It has filters for simplified blueprints search, an option to add any of your blueprints as a target in the range, and many other features. Be sure to right-click any blueprint in the list on the right to open a submenu with various useful features.
Due to the optimization mentioned above, the process of working with blueprints has changed. The main thing to note is that now when you edit a blueprint in the garage, all changes are IMMEDIATELY saved and overwrite the saved blueprint.
In order not to lose the original blueprint, you can either create a copy of the blueprint in a new window by right-clicking and selecting the appropriate option and edit that copy, or use functions to undo/redo the last change while editing the blueprint by pressing back/forward arrows.
We have also added an option to “lock” blueprints so that you don’t accidentally change them.
The changes are significant, so we would like you to explore the new features yourselves. Be sure to check them out!
After testing the tab, we ask you to leave feedback in the comments to the news, as well as take the in-game survey on the test server. Thank you!
If you can't see the poll, go to settings-general-privacy-check “enable polls” and click “apply”.
How to get on the test server?
[expand type=details] If you have already participated in testing on a special server, then it will be enough to start the Launcher from the folder with the test client and wait for the update to complete.
Create a new folder for the game on your hard drive.
Download the Launcher from this link. The file name should not contain numbers indicating that the file is a duplicate. Please note that you should launch the file that does not contain any digits (1), (2), etc. in its name. If, when starting the installed launcher, you get to the live game servers, you need to delete all downloaded launchers from the download folder and try again.
Start the Launcher and install the game to the folder you created (for example: D:\Public test\Crossout).
After the installation is complete, start the Launcher and enter the game with your username and password.
The whole progress of your main account will be transferred to the main server (including parts in storage and levels of reputation in factions).
After logging into the server, to transfer progress from your account, press the “Esc” key and select “Copy account data”.
Please note the schedule of the test server:
Friday, November 29, 2024: from 13:00 to 19:00 (GMT)
Saturday, November 30, 2024: from 13:00 to 19:00 (GMT)
Sunday, December 1, 2024: from 13:00 to 19:00 (GMT)
Any progress you make on the test server will not be transferred to the live game servers (INCLUDING ATTEMPTS TO BUY PACKS).
The public test server is intended only for testing of the upcoming update, and may not accommodate all players without exception. However, absolutely anyone can join the server, as long as there are free spots.
[Developer blog] The Syndicate returns in the new Crossout season. Part 1
Hello, survivors!
The “Next step” season is coming to a close. As battle walkers became commonplace in the Wasteland, the Scavengers and the Syndicate begun fighting over the “Oracle” activation module. The last season was all about the Scavengers, which means it’s time to turn to the other side of the conflict. The Syndicate returns in the “Wasteland drift” season!
While preparing for the decisive battle, the Syndicate has been busy developing new high-tech modules and weapons. There will be a lot of interesting parts waiting for you in the next update. Let’s warm our curiosity up in this entry by having a look at the legendary engine and light cabin. And now, for more details!
We remind you that all the new features described in the “Developer blog” are not final and may be changed before they are introduced into the game or may not make it into the game at all. This applies not only to information about possible unique features of new parts, but also to the appearance of the parts themselves.
The “Satori” legendary light cabin
The mechanics of the new light cabin are familiar: this cabin builds upon the much-loved “Jannabi”. Get ready to put all your masterful drifting skills to use behind the wheel of the “Satori”. The new cabin’s perk only works with wheels, just like its predecessor’s.
Just like “Jannabi”, the new cabin gives a damage bonus for drifting. Except that this legendary version provides an additional bonus to damage for prolonged continuous drifting, in addition to the basic damage increase for manoeuvres.
Please note that the “Satori” damage bonus resets gradually after you stop drifting, not immediately. To unlock the full potential of the new cabin, you need to be able to skid across the Wasteland for a long time.
The “Oyabun” legendary engine
The new engine builds upon the “Hot red”. Its mechanics are also related to reverse acceleration, but the perk is triggered under certain conditions. “Oyabun” will allow you to quickly recover after an unfortunate “encounter” with any obstacle. A nice bonus of the engine is that it does not require energy.
In the event of a significant loss of speed after a collision, the “Oyabun” will increase the reverse speed and power of the vehicle, allowing for a quick escape from a difficult situation. What a twist!
New structural parts
And this is only the beginning! Let’s make a sharp turn to the next devblog entry, it’s just around the corner. Wait a second, who plasma blasted everything around here?! Ah, whatever. Stay tuned!

Changes to clan activities. Our current vision
Hello, survivors! This entry is not about the upcoming December update. Instead, we would like to talk about the possible future changes to clan game modes. The changes we have in mind are to solve some problems with clan activities in the game.
We remind you that all the new features described in the “Developer blog” are not final and may be changed before they are introduced into the game or may not make it into the game at all. Please note that all the information in this entry is not a final decision.
In the “Battle for uranium” event, we tried out various things to raise the players’ interest in clan activities.
Our goal was to minimize negative player experience by solving such issues as:
Players intentionally losing battles as groups;
Long matchmaking times;
Too great of a difference in PS between players;
High entry threshold for clan activities.
Our vision for developing the “Battle for uranium”
We have conducted a number of experiments in which we tested different hypotheses. Now the most suitable option looks like the following: once in a few weeks, the event “Battle for uranium” takes place, which is held with individual Elo rating system, with one challenge for a certain range of PS.
The “Battle for uranium” has battles to one victory. The event can be played solo or in a group.
We want to be able to customize some modifiers for “Battle for uranium” seasons, such as:
Periodically change PS brackets to make battles more diverse;
Periodically include armoured aircraft and battle walkers in the mode. For example: one week there are no walkers or aircraft, the next week we add aircraft only, the third week we add walkers only, and the last week we add both;
Periodically include additional modifiers for certain types of parts. For example, for rotors and robotic legs.
The “Battle for uranium” will not cause “Clan war” to be disabled. During the event, we will only disable “Clan confrontation”, but earning Engineer badges and completing challenges will be tied to the “Battle for uranium”. Badges and challenges will not be lost.
With “Battle for uranium” we want to diversify clan activities in Crossout. However, we are also working on improving the game experience in “Clan war”.
Our vision for developing the “Clan war”
We want to add a leaderboard based on individual Elo rating instead of the clan rating to improve the experience of players in clan activities and the balancing.
The overall clan rating will be formed on the basis of the personal ratings of active players. The new leaderboard will function similarly to the leaderboard in the “Battle for uranium”.
We would like to note that the uranium ore earnings of players who place high in the event and play a lot will not be reduced. We pay special attention to this.
The gameplay of the mode, as well as the schedule of battles will not change.
We need your feedback
To improve our work, we would like to know your opinions on the following topics:
What do you think about the introduction of a new leaderboard with individual ratings to “Clan war”;
How do you feel about the modifiers we suggested for the “Battle for uranium”, which we want to diversify the event with.
That’s all for today. Stay tuned for more devblog entries and other news!
CM Hunt
Hello, survivors!
The new update is out, and we hope you’ve had some time to play the game after it became available. Also, we added unique patches for helping a developer in combat or destroying them. So it's time for you to try and get them.
That’s why we are starting the Hunt! In the next few days, our community manager, Faley016, will be the target of this hunt. For the destruction of his vehicle, you will receive a reward — 2 “Military reserve” containers. You’ll receive the same reward for defending a target in combat. They will be a nice addition to the reward received for the battle.
How can you participate in this event?
At the specified time, CM writes a message in the general chat about the start of the event;
At this time, you need to trust your luck and get into the same battle with him;
If you get into the opposite team, then during the battle you need to destroy his car, and for that you will receive the promised reward, 2 “Military reserve” containers.
If you are in the same team and the target vehicle is left in one piece at the end of the battle, you will also receive 2 “Military reserve” containers.
When will this event take place?
Europe:
November 22, 19:00 GMT. Target — Faley016
November 29, 19:00 GMT. Target — Faley016
North America:
November 23, 21:00 GMT-5. Target — Faley016
November 30, 21:00 GMT-5. Target — Faley016
Good luck everyone, see you in the Wasteland!
