One day, Jones came across an old man named Mortis in the Wasteland and bought an old retro armoured car from him. At first, Ivy XO was happy that Jones had finally found his passion and spends all his time in the garage, but his hobby quickly turned into obsession. The young man’s personality has deteriorated, and even his appearance has changed. That’s when Ivy started to worry.
She found Mortis, hoping to convince him to buy the car back, but the old man shut himself in his home, screaming that will never take Catalina back. On her way to the camp, Ivy realized that she had already heard this name from her friend. She tried to persuade Jones to get rid of that car, but he shouted that his name is Jonathan and he would rather give up everything in the world rather than Catalina. He drove away soon after.
However, he returned the very next day. Looking battered, Jones said that he had encountered a group of raiders in the Valley. They didn’t intend to attack, but made a few jokes about his haircut and his car. And then… Catalina dealt with the offenders and burned down their camp. Only then Jones managed to break the glass and escape, having activated the vehicle’s self-destruct system.
Of course, there were very few people among the Engineers who actually believed that the car had come to life, and the story was quickly forgotten. But every time Ivy goes out on night patrol, she sees two pairs of dim round headlights and the smoldering silhouette of an armoured car with sharp “tailfins” on its rear fenders in the distance.

Reduced deceleration in turning speed for wheels, especially on multi-wheeled and heavy vehicles. Now wheeled armoured vehicles should respond better to turns.
Increased the turning inertia for vehicles with hovers.
Now hovers will stop working on armoured vehicles that have any additional movement parts installed, except for mechanical legs.
Miscellaneous
Fixed a number of issues related to the lightning on different locations.
Now, if several parts are selected at once in the search filter for a car at the exhibition, then only the cars that have the selected parts mounted on them will be displayed.
The size of notifications about destroying an enemy and about assistance in the destruction has been reduced.
Improved the description of the module “Daze”: the module doesn’t work against leviathans.
Improved the effect of the shield for the “Aegis-Prime” module.
Fixed a bug where the mines of “Jubokko” and “Kapkan” continued to interact with the carcass of the destroyed vehicle, instead of switching to the next enemy.
Fixed a bug where the grass on the “Fortress” location could be displayed incorrectly.
Now the impulse from allied projectiles doesn’t affect a friendly armoured car.
Fixed a bug where markers were not placed on destructible parts of the bridge in the “Bridge” location.
Fixed incorrect display of the “Network test” window.
Fixed bug with incorrect playback of self-destruction sound of a vehicle located near the player.

[Contest] Clash of Engineers: A Gift for the Witch
Halloween is coming, and Ivy XO is getting ready for the spookiest holiday of the year. She has been reincarnated as a witch again and is about to go on an expedition to get the ingredients for her signature potion: a duck tail, a Ravager’s visor, a hair from Centennial's beard, a grain of uranium ore and, of course, a tear of the survivor who has achieved prestige level 666 with the Engineers. But Scar AB interfered with those plans: not wanting to give up the hosting of the “Witch hunt”, he dismantled the ritual vehicle piece by piece. Now Ivy the Witch needs a new armoured car, and not just any car, but the one that will cause shivers in the body of any living creature. And, of course, she turned to you for help (she’s not going to fly on a broomstick, is she?). And do not dare to refuse the lady, otherwise you will see the witch’s wrath — 10 defeats in a row! Or maybe not, it’s not clear.

[Announcement] Native support for PlayStation® controllers in the PC version
Hello!
The “Supercharged” update brings not only massive audio-visual changes to Crossout, but also full support for DUALSHOCK®4 and DualSense™ controllers on PC!
Despite the fact that a mouse and keyboard have traditionally been the main weapons in the hands of PC players, there are many who prefer other game controllers. Specifically for you (and also for those who want to experience new sensations from the game), we have implemented full support for Sony controllers.
And the main feature is, of course, the support of all the features of the new generation controller DualSense™.
Now, almost every movement of your armoured vehicle will be accompanied by a special vibration response that matches your movement parts: whether it’s the friction of the wheels on the surface, the heavy tread of mechanical legs, or the steady flight of hovers.
Different vibrations from shooting, depending on the type of weapon used, vibration feedback in certain parts of the controller, depending on where exactly the enemy projectile came from — all this is already available on PC!
All collisions with obstacles and enemies, destruction of destructible objects and interaction with the environment (water obstacles, etc.) will be accompanied by tactile effects. Your controller will be an equivalent of the steering wheel of an armoured car, transmitting almost everything that happens to the vehicle directly into your hands.
Of course, you can enable and disable the vibration feedback of the controller at any time in the game settings.
Good luck in battles, survivors!
