Trust your fate and enter the Arena! Prove that you are the best fighter in the Wasteland and pave your way to glory. In this update, you can expect: a new mode “Arena”, a new season and battle pass, a new relic weapon, as well as a number of other important changes and fixes. https://youtu.be/IkHfc1X0Fs8
New mode “Arena”
Attention! The mode will be available until March 20 inclusive! [expand type="details"]
“Arena” is a PvP mode that puts your individual and team playing skills to the test.
The mode is available from reputation level 7 with the “Engineers” faction.
Battles take place on the maps designed specifically for this mode:
“Power center”;
“City pond”;
“Defence line”.
The battles are held in the “3 vs 3” format.
You can enter the mode as a part of a group or on your own. In the second case, you will join the team of 2 random players.
The first team to win in 3 rounds (out of a maximum of 5) wins.
If the winner is not determined within the time allotted for the round, a deadly zone appears along the perimeter of the arena, which gradually narrows the area available for battle.
If the player leaves the battle before it is over, a raider is added to the team instead.
Before entering the “Arena”, you can select up to 3 car blueprints in advance (similar to clan battles).
These can be your own armoured cars as well as those that you’ve unlocked as rewards.
The vehicle can be changed at the beginning of each next round.
The use of explosives, fuel tanks, barrels, and the “Tusk” cabin is prohibited in the assemblies.
There are 2 modes available to you: “Arena” and “Arena: Rating”.
Attention! The first week of the event is set as a “warm-up”, during which only the “Arena” mode will be available. The rating mode will launch on February 24, at 06:00 GMT, and it will end on March 14, at 00:00 GMT.
In the standard “Arena” mode, players are matched according to their vehicle power score (PS). The system takes into account the vehicle with the highest PS value out of those 3 that you chose.
In the rating mode, the matchmaking is based on your current rating score. The number of points affects your position in the leaderboard.
For reaching the “Golden”, “Silver” and “Bronze” leagues, players will receive appropriate backgrounds and emblems for profile customization, as well as memorable decorations that will symbolize their skills and will not be available to other players: “Golden league champion”, “Silver league champion” and “Bronze league champion”.
Both standard and rating modes are available in the corresponding tabs after pressing the “Select mode” button on the garage screen or via the special event banners.
All players have access to the special Arena rewards, which are given for achieving the next level.
The Arena rewards and the new seasonal battle pass rewards are separate things and are earned independently.
Arena levels can be increased with points, which are awarded for completing special daily challenges related to the mode, as well as for each victory of your team in the mode (both in the standard version and in the ranked version).
There are 36 levels with Arena rewards.
Among the already familiar rewards, the Arena rewards also include:
ready-made armoured vehicles, which can be used only in this mode and only during the event. This will help those players who have just joined the game and don’t have a lot of parts yet;
battle pass Levels (experience points that are sufficient to raise the current season level by 1).
You can test the received armored car via the interface for selecting 3 cars for the mode or in the Arena rewards scale. [/expand]
“Steel gladiators” season
Attention! The season “Steel gladiators” and the battle pass packs will be available until April 27 inclusive! [expand type="details"]
There are 54 levels with rewards in the event. Leveling up in the event will unlock new rewards.
If the player has a Battle Pass, 20 in-game coins are rewarded for levels from 55 and above.
All players without exception (both with and without a paid Battle Pass) can access:
“Workpieces” of the new parts from the season, as well as parts from previous seasons (you can find and use the received workpieces in the “Resources” tab in your storage). The workpieces remain in your storage forever. They can be used at any time, even after the end of the season.
Recipes for parts production. ATTENTION! These recipes will only be available temporarily during the current season. Once it is completed, the part recipes will be unavailable.
Elements for the banner customization.
100 in-game coins.
Workbench coupons.
Building supplies.
Players who have purchased the battle pass may receive the following additional rewards:
Parts that have been crafted before. Please note that such parts are already issued with certain upgrades and cannot be sold/bought on the market.
4 new CKs (customization kits).
In-game coins.
Cosmetic items: paints, stickers, hologram.
New decoration for the range.
“Storage expansions” and “Blueprint storages”.
Legendary upgrade stabilizers.
Engineer badges.
Rewards marked with a lock icon are only available in the Battle Pass.
Parts that you didn’t have time to unlock can be purchased on the in-game market from other players.
Please note:
During the season, all new parts (including their fused versions) can be crafted in unlimited quantities (permanent recipes will be available).
As new levels of the season are gained, all players will discover and receive additional one-time recipes — the “workpieces” of new parts. During the season, you can get several workpieces for each new part at once.
Once the season is over, permanent recipes will become unavailable, but you will still have the workpieces. They can be used whenever you want.
The workpieces are added to the storage (“Resources” tab) and do not take up storage space.
Even if you didn’t have enough time (or didn’t have the opportunity) to craft a certain part during the season, you will be able to craft it thanks to a workpiece.
Event level up
You can increase your level in the event by completing special daily and weekly challenges.
At the end of the day, all uncompleted daily challenges are reset and replaced with new ones.
Every Thursday, after the list of challenges is updated, all uncompleted weekly challenges are carried over to the next week.
Weekly tasks of the season are divided into “main” and “additional” groups. At one time, 4 “main” and 2 “additional” tasks are issued.
Please note that it is possible to get the maximum level in the event by completing only daily and “main” challenges. Completing “additional” challenges will help you increase your level even faster.
Try not to miss challenges to open all available rewards as soon as possible.
When the event level is increased, the reward is issued automatically.
You can still complete the regular daily and weekly challenges, save badges and other resources.

New parts
Autocannon “AC62 Therm”
Rarity: special.
PS: 760.
Durability: 192 pts.
Energy drain: 4 pts.
Mass: 196 kg.
Simplified in production, but a no less dangerous version of the “Joule” autocannon. The weapon was designed for medium-close range combat, which increases its fire rate. Nomads proudly call “AP62 Therm” a machine gun from the autocannon world.
Rocket launcher “Trombone”
Rarity: epic.
PS: 550.
Ammunition: 8 volleys.
Durability: 82 pts.
Energy drain: 2 pts.
Mass: 144 kg.
Perk: the longer the rockets are in flight, the better their maneuverability gets.
“Trombone” fires a burst of three high-precision rockets, which do little damage to enemies, but greatly heat up the parts within the blast radius.
Drone “SD-15 Vulture”
Rarity: legendary.
PS: 1600.
Launches: 12 pcs.
Durability: 207 pts.
Energy drain: 4 pts.
Mass: 365 kg.
Perk: the drone deals periodic damage to the part to which it is attached.
A sabotage drone created by Nomads on the basis of “Yaoguai”. After being launched into the specified area, the drone hovers in the air and activates its own invisibility module. When an enemy appears nearby, “Vulture” clings to its important parts trying to destroy them and then explodes afterwards.
Cabin “Hadron”
Rarity: legendary.
PS: 2100.
Maximum cabin speed: 80 km/h.
Tonnage: 5600 kg.
Mass limit: 13800 kg.
Adds energy: 12 pts.
Durability: 370 pts.
Mass: 1450 kg.
Perk: decreases the reloading time of all weapons by 15%, then stacks it and distributes it equally between all weapons except revolvers. The distribution cannot speed up the reloading by more than 40%.
This cabin was created by the space development center for a shuttle that delivered cargo to orbital stations. The special development allowed to accelerate the operation of certain systems during the landing on Earth. The Dawn’s children adapted the technology to work with weapons.
New CKs
This time the season adds 4 new CKs to the game!
CK “Pilum” for the rapid-fire machine gun “M-37 Piercer”
CK “Secutor” for the Tesla emitter “Spark III”
CK “Trump card” for the cabin “Quantum”
CK “Frankenstein” for the cabin “Humpback”
“Elite Battle Pass” pack
Provides access to additional rewards of the season “Steel gladiators”.
Upon purchasing this pack, the player gains 15 levels to his current progress in the event. All additional battle pass rewards for already received levels are automatically made available.
The pack can be purchased only once.
“Battle Pass” pack
Provides access to additional rewards of the season “Steel gladiators”.
Upon purchasing this pack, the player gains 1 level to his current progress in the event. All additional battle pass rewards for already received levels are automatically made available.
The pack can be purchased only once.
Both items will be available until April 27 inclusive! [expand type="details"]
The amount places where a player’s car could potentially get stuck in the environment objects has been reduced. Environmental objects have been improved on the following maps:
“Control-17 station”;
“Bridge”;
“Dead Highway”;
“El Diablo Gorge”;
“Sector EX”
A number of environmental objects on the “Fortress” map have been improved.
[/expand]
New relic weapon: disk launcher “Ripper”
This weapon is not a part of the new season “Steel Gladiators”. It cannot be received for leveling up or purchasing the battle pass.
Like all other relic weapons, the “Ripper” can only be crafted at the Engineer workbench “Secret Workshop”, using parts and resources (including uranium ore).
Parameters:
Rarity: relic.
PS: 3000.
Ammunition: 18 pcs.
Durability: 484 pts.
Energy drain: 5 pts.
Mass: 540 kg.
Perk: disks get temporarily stuck in environmental objects and deal increased collision damage.
As soon as the Firestarters came up with the “Ripper,” their lives were divided into “before” and “after”. Shooting circular saw blades proved to be not only efficient, but also fun. That’s why those who have the best “Rippers”, are often the same people who killed the previous owners of the weapon.
Other
[expand type="details"]
Minelayers “Kapkan” and “Jubokko”
Mine cables are now cut if an environmental object, which can break the cable, is located between the player and the mine.

[Contest] ‘Rebuild in Crossout. Car Battle!’ (16 of February — 22 of February)
Rumours about Scar AB's collection and the skill of the engineers who craft and expand it are rapidly spreading throughout the Valley. Recently, one of the trading clans turned to the Scavenger leader with the request to build several armoured vehicles to accompany the caravans, but with a special condition. All vehicles have to be similar to real-life models with slight modifications. The sense of style is not dead and gone even in this wasted world, and it's good.
Only this time, customers want to see what custom-built cars are like. And since there's a reason, Scar AB’s engineers don't mind showing what they and their artworks can do.
We will select the top 4 entries, and their authors will get a reward of 300 coins and one epic "Amusement container"! The author of the most effective armoured vehicle will receive 200 coins!
Assignment: You need to build the presented car. Then you need to modernize it: install armour and off-road tires. Use "Aurora" or "Gravastar" as a main equipment.
The release of update 0.13.40 “Steel gladiators” is scheduled for this Thursday, February 17. We invite everyone to join our official livestream, where we will show you the new “Arena” mode, take a closer look at the new parts of this season, test the new relic weapon and answer your questions.
The report of Seeker Grigio with the latest information about the Arenas.
Access level: high.
Rumours:
Recently, there have been rumors circulating in the Valley that the Firestarters are preparing to open a network of “gladiatorial” arenas. A certain arbiter Petrolium is involved in this. He is described as a fanatical and greedy person who, nevertheless, pays well for quality work. A psychopath who can accomplish a lot. They say that the shamans hired him on a tip from the Rat King.
Several survivors reported about meetings with recruiters, who invited them to participate in future battles. It was not possible to determine the terms of cooperation.
At the moment we know about the existence of two arenas. One of them is located in the lowlands north of the Bridge, which runs from the Abandoned town. The Lunatics fenced the area off with mines and set up observation towers. The second one is located in the ruins of an old structure that has architectural similarities to the objects on the “Ravagers foothold”. In addition, it is reported that the arbiter’s people have occupied an abandoned stadium on the outskirts of the Old Town long time ago. It was not possible to get inside, but sounds of gunfire and explosions are occasionally heard from the building. There is a suggestion that this place serves as a training complex.
Facts:
Our agents among the Lunatics report that Firestarters have ordered the serial production of various armoured vehicles in garages throughout the Valley. The shamans probably want to involve their people in battles, but the motivation for this is unclear. Many of the workshops use prisoner labor force, and of the prisoners became our informant after escaping from one of such facilities. Some time ago, he was a member of the Engineers. He refused to disclose his name, but in exchange for shelter he recreated the blueprints of the four armoured cars he had worked on.
The first one is called “Cannoneer”. As one can guess, this vehicle is equipped with two “Little Boy 6LB” cannons. The armored vehicle is built using the “Bear” cabin, while tracks are used as movement parts. The engineer claims that “Cannoneer” is very resilient and is perfect for medium and long range combat.
The second armoured car — “Junkbow” is created for close-range combat and is based on the “Growl” cabin. It is equipped with 2 “Junkbow” shotguns and with a reload booster module. A radar detector is installed allowing for better control of the enemy. According to the engineer, this vehicle is very maneuverable and resilient because of additional wheels and durable armour.
“Infiltrator” is another armoured car with four shotguns and the “Growl” cabin. However, in this case the engineers were ordered to mount “Sledgehammers”, as well as to add enhanced engine and radiator. Because of this, the car turned out to be very fast, maneuverable and incredibly dangerous in close range combat.
The last armored one, “Gunner”, is equipped with two autocannons “AP64 Joule” and the “Bear” cabin. It has an engine that increases the vehicle’s speed, and a radiator that provides a long continuous fire. According to the engineer’s estimates, “Gunner” was designed for medium and close range combat.
Note:
The informant claims that he can arrange a meeting with three more escaped prisoners. All of them worked on different blueprints, the total number of which is about 15 units. With their statements we could get a more detailed picture of the situation. I ask the Supreme Explorer D. for confirmation to grant shelter to these people.

Our intelligence reports that groups of raiders have established their bases somewhere on the Blood Rocks territory. They are gathering their forces to attack the Valley. The map also contains positions of the mobile raider squads. The situation is made worse by the fact that two ringleaders are in charge of all attack preparations, and their whereabouts are also unknown. You have only one “Mandrake” at your disposal. You can fire at any point on the map. Your task is to guess where exactly the bases, units or ringleaders are located. For the Valley, for Scar AB and his magazines with cars!
Here are the rules:
This game is a variation of the well-known “Battleship” game, where participants need to name the coordinates of the point where they think the target is located.
These coordinates are located on the intersection of the two axes of the playing field. For instance: G7 or E10
Each base, mobile unit or ringleader occupies 1 cell of the playing field. All in all, there are 2 bases, 2 mobile units and 2 ringleaders hidden on the playing field.
Targets can be located on ANY cell of the field.
In order to make a shot, you need to write the coordinate of the selected point, as well as your game nickname and the platform on which you play as a comment to this post.
1 comment - 1 coordinate.
Each player can make a shot only 2 times.
The game will last until most of the targets are destroyed.
When most of the targets are destroyed, we will reveal their location.
The player who first guessed the target’s coordinates in the comments is the one who destroyed it. All subsequent hits on targets that have already been destroyed are not counted.
If the participant guesses the coordinates of two different targets, then he will receive both rewards. If a participant guesses the location of two bases, two mobile units or both ringleaders, the reward will be issued only for 1 hit. Destruction of the second target of the same kind will not be counted.
For the precise hit on the ringleader the player is rewarded with 3 “Amusement containers” and 7 days of premium subscription.
For the precise hit on the base, the player is rewarded with 3 “Builder’s containers” and 7 days of premium subscription.
For the precise hit on the mobile unit of the raiders the player is rewarded with 3 “Builder's containers” and 3 days of premium subscription.
Good luck!

[Developer blog] New major Crossout update. Part 3
Let’s continue to find out what kind of new features are waiting for us in the next season! Today we will look at a new epic rocket launcher, a legendary drone and another map for the “Arena” mode.
We remind you that all the new features described in the “Developer blog” are not final and may be changed before they are introduced into the game or may not make it into the game at all. This applies not only to information about possible unique features of new parts, but also to the appearance of the parts themselves.
Epic rocket launcher
The new rocket launcher resembles the “Nest” in many ways, but it performs an unusual role for this type of weapon: a role of support.
The aiming mechanic is similar to “Nest”, but you don’t need to charge the shot: as soon as you press the fire button, three rockets fly out and head for the target of your choice. Upon hitting the target, a rocket deals minor damage, but that’s not what the weapon is designed for! Its main “trick” is that the rockets instantly heat up the enemy’s parts within the blast radius and make your opponent vulnerable to your main weapon or to your allies. The rocket launcher itself consumes a small amount of energy.
Another feature of this new weapon is that the maneuverability of the rockets increases with the time of their flight. The farther away from you the enemy was at the moment of the shot, the harder it will be for him to evade rockets using maneuvers.
The rocket launcher expands the room for new battle tactics not only for lone warriors, but for coordinated groups of players as well.
Legendary drone
With this cunning device of the Nomads, you will easily take your enemies by surprise! The weapon launches a drone similar to the familiar “Yaoguai”. After the launch, the drone stays in the air and waits for reckless opponents while staying invisible.
If the enemy passes nearby, the drone attaches itself to the armoured car, deals periodic damage to the part to which it is attached for a short time, and then explodes. The enemy or his allies can shoot the drone off while it is attached to the part, but they have very little time to do so.
“M-37 Piercer” customization kit
Map for the “Arena” mode
We present to you the third and last map for the “Arena” mode: You can also view the panorama of the map at this link.
The map features a fairly familiar battlefield for survivors with different elevation levels, ruined buildings which can be used as covers and vegetation in which you can hide from not particularly observant enemies.
Layer spawn points are surrounded by cliffs with observation towers. This is where the organizers of the fights watch the arena matches from. And finally, we prepared a portrait of one of the main characters of this season — the Arena battles custodian. Don’t let his appearance deceive you! Although... you will see for yourself soon.
See you in the final part of these blogs next week!

Everyone who was expecting another blog about the upcoming season — don’t worry. The next part will be released this week! Today, we would like to address a topic that has been a concern for many players for a relatively long time.
Attention! The model shown in this blog is still a work and progress and it may receive additional changes before being added into the game. A change to the cabin model is planned for the future, and it shouldn’t be expected in the next update.
In this brief devblog, we'd like to share with you some current information on the refinement of the “Ghost” cabin from the “Spectral hunter” pack. Yes, that “helicopter cabin”.
The main problem of the cabin that was almost voiced by its owners, was its unusual model. Its protruding front part made it impossible to effectively cover the cabin with structural parts, which had a direct impact on the survivability of the cabin on the battlefield and its popularity.
In the revised version, this part will be levelled and given its own welding points.
Another issue was connected with the general lack of welding points on important places. It was especially relevant for experienced engineers who think through their armoured vehicles down to the last minor detail. When the cabin is refined, the welding points will be added not only to its previously protruding front, but also on the edges of the existing points, as well as on the fenders, hood and sides of the cabin.
We are also aware of the opinion that the cabin may need a new perk that would increase the actuality of the “Ghost”, but we don’t plan to change the existing one yet. First, we want to evaluate how the new model will affect the usability and efficiency of the cabin, and only then will we discuss the need to change its perk.
Please note that changes to the cabin are not planned to be included to next update.
Share your expectations and feedback about the updated model of the “Ghost” cabin in the comments. Stay tuned for the upcoming third devblog about the new season!
