The window showing the amount of gold in your treasury is now visible at all times while you are at your estate.
More information about your fighting slaves is now shown in the fighter selection window during tournaments.
Added the option to have the save game screen open automatically at the end of each week.
Fixed a rare bug in the 'unruly slave' random event.
This update should hopefully resolve any remaining issues with achievements (such as the dreaded 'type undefined' error). The game should also be fully playable offline now, if it wasn't previously.
Sentience: The Android's Tale Coming to Steam 6.2.17
Sentience: The Android's Tale is a choice-based narrative adventure game from the creator of The Deed series and the Space Pilgrim saga.
Twenty-five years after the People's Revolution, it's not uncommon for the few remaining active-service androids to be consigned to desolate borderworlds such as this, far away from the core systems where anti-A.I. sentiment remains rife....
Please note that the location of save files has changed. If your previous save files aren't appearing in-game, do the following:
Go to the game folder (usually something like
\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\Crown Champion Legends of the Arena).
Move the existing 'save' folder into the 'www' folder.
Your saves should now appear in the game.
This update is mainly geared towards improving overall performance, particularly for those players who had been experiencing sudden crashes. The game engine has been updated to the latest version, and a couple of minor bugs have been fixed.
Please let us know if you experience any problems after the update.
Crown Champion: Legends of the Arena available at 50% off for limited time.

Third Update (1.3)
This latest update features a lot of tweaks to skills and enemy stats, with the aim of making things more fairly balanced. If you're continuing a save from a previous version, you will probably experience a period of adjustment. Version 1.2 is still available under 'Betas' if you'd prefer to keep playing with the same difficulty level.
The resolution has been increased to 1280x720, which means some exterior scenes have been expanded in size.
New content: There are now about a dozen events related to the management of your estate that can occur randomly between tournaments. These can be positive events such as receiving visits from sponsors or fans, or your slaves having a particularly good week in training. There can also be negative events such as slaves falling ill or getting in trouble with the guards.
There are also some individual one-off events that can crop up, which are like mini adventures. Most of these short stories can also have positive or negative outcomes depending on your actions.
Some AI improvements to player-owned fighters. They should no longer perform skills that increase Attack, Defense, Reflexes or Agility if those effects are already at maximum.
Second Update (1.2)
Technical Fixes
Fixed an issue where the game crashed at achievement points if it had not been launched through your Steam library.
You can now use the Page Down key to fast-forward through dialogue until the next choice appears.
Pressing the cancel button on your controller during choice menus should generally default to the appropriate cancel option if one is available.
General
The environments are more interactive. You can now examine or interact with most objects in the game. (Be sure to try interacting with the wardrobe in your bedroom!)
Whether or not a fighter feels like talking to you is now determined at the start of the week. Fighters will always want to talk to you on their first week in your cells.
The Royal Academy trainer has been moved closer to the market entrance to save unnecessary walking.
When you build the guard tower, you now get a guard posted outside the treasury each week.
A little bit more has been added to the ending of the game. It's not 100% compatible with current saves, but it will add a little something extra when you win at the royal tournament for the first time.
Combat-Related
Special skills now unlock at a slightly earlier level than before, so your fighters won't lag quite as far behind their enemies in terms of the skills they can use. If you are using a save from an earlier version of the game, the appropriate skills should unlock when you progress to the next week.
Enemy Foxes can no longer dual wield if they also use throwing stars.
The amount of damage done by critical attacks has been reduced.
A few other small balance tweaks to various skills.
We're still looking at ways to improve performance and stability for those players who have been experiencing poor performance or random crashes. Keep an eye out for further updates.
First Update (1.1)
Conversations with your fighting slaves can now influence their morale as well as your overall relationship with them.
The success rate of counter-attacks has been reduced for balance.
A bug affecting the purchase of the Champion Shield has been fixed.
