Hello everyone in this Cruel Galaxy!

0.6d is Live now with torturing mechanics and bugfixes.

Bug Fixes



  • To prevent you from glitches with unlucky screen sizes, we limit you to use only 16x9 for a while.
  • Hull Breach event bug fixed again (third time is a bless).
  • Fixed a bug when Loot All button didnt recounted the wreckage cost, so you got more Parts than intended.


Animations



  • Main menu reworked. Just take a look, now it's full 3D.


Gameplay Changes



  • Discordia Destroyes spaceship dont get any modules except for Engine on start of new game. Get a recipes first!
  • You cannot re-use enemy crew anymore. Upon looting enemy officers, they become Captives.
  • However, now you can Interrogate Captives, getting some resources (events would be added later).
  • Officers now limited on each spaceship class to 1/2/3 maximum (3 on Destroyers, and special module would be added later).


Quality Improvements



  • When trying to move spaceship without key modules into Vanguard, you will recieve a notification about that decision.

  • Fixed a bug when journal, victory/lose, or console overlay was not full-screen
  • Fixed a bug when gameplay, events and pop-ups was not in the right order
  • Fixed a bug when you can make some actions during replay of the tutorial dialogue (like get extra fleet)

Freebies



  • New Virgin Silver paint style available for all players who have launched game after release.


Bug Fixes



  • Fixed a bug allowing ally ship to move in enemy occupied tile.
  • Fixed a bug when some of Spaceship or Modules bars was not scrolling the way they must.
  • Fixed bug when main menu Parallax effect goes on a vacation.
  • Fixed bug when yo ustill see pop-ups, hovers and ship UI above overlay (Victory or Journal)
  • Fixed a bug hiding HP bar in turn order bar.


Animations



  • Added on-hit animations for shooting action (different for each ship model).
  • Added ship destruction animation
  • Added ship warp-retreat animation (only for Black Knights)


Gameplay Changes



  • Easy mode! Black Knights faction now have ability to restore their ships even after they lose a battle. The ship must not be destroyed completely, of course.
  • Chance to completely lose allied ship reduced by 50%.
  • Restored trophy ships now got Virgin Silver painting by default.


Quality Improvements



  • Each module type now have 3 different pictures instead of one (one for each size). 12 images added in total.
  • All ingame graphics sized up to 1920x1080.
  • All ingame UI size reduced by about 25%.
  • All spaceships now auto-sort by power rating.
  • All modules now auto-sort by type, and after that, by power rating.
  • Now you can see damaged and destroyed modules by yellow and red overlay in combat, respectively.
  • Un-selected and active module borders have been redrawed accordingly.
  • In Fleet management screen, you now see if there more modules or spaceships to scroll.
  • Hovering messages now only contains grey and white colors for text.
  • Some buttons have been moved to more appropriate places.
  • Skip button in dialogs now placed after Next.
