For the past few months, we have been very busy working on this new update for Crumbling City. This version comes with a brand new system for destruction, a whole new mission system, procedural decorations, smarter enemies and a bunch of other changes. We are very excited to finally share this with you!

New features
New dynamic destruction engine
Building pieces can now clump together
Buildings and certain decorations are now hollow
New props system that allows decorations to be placed on and around buildings and other decorations during the procedural generation process
Certain buildings, vehicles and decorations can now have a random color
New mission system with 4 unique mission types (classic, mass destruction, time trial and stealth), each with different game mechanics
There's a new campaign mode where you can play through all the new mission types and all the levels

Abilities now require confirmation before activating, allowing for more precise placement
Enemies no longer die instantly, stronger enemies can tank more hits before crumbling
Enemies no longer stop spawning when all waves are completed
Spiced up many weapons and abilities with brand new visual effects
Updated every single model in the game to match their scale
Spoiler alert: there's an exciting new animation that plays when you win a mission
Buildings now also have a variety of sizes, which enables more dense cities
Revamped enemy behavior and player detection to make them feel a lot smarter
Updated traffic system to have more natural looking movement for vehicles

We now have full support for more controllers like the Oculus touch controllers (Quest 2 & Quest 3)
Fixed a lot of bugs and improved performance.

Update 0.2 is here!
This update changes a lot about Crumbling City and defines the roadmap for upcoming updates. The new City Creator brings a whole new sandbox mode where you can create your own cities! Just to destroy them again a few minutes later. The new levels bring tons of diversity and brand new visual elements like different terrain types. The game used to be very quiet, with only a few sound effect, now there is a plathora of soothing sound effects that immerse you into the universe of Crumbling City. The update also brings a lot of other cool features, which you can check out yourself by playing the game!
