CubeRace 1.0 available on Steam!

Hello everyone, CUBERACE can be purchased from today on Steam!

Report any bugs or anomalies on Achievements, Leaderboards and translation errors.

I hope there are no critical bugs and that I can immediately continue the development of the game with the preparation of the third track (Iapetus) that I want to add by the second week of March.

Thanks in advance to all those who buy CubeRace.

Only 2 days until the release of CubeRace!

Hello everyone, Build 1.00 of the game is ready, and even the Leaderboards seem to work properly waiting for your records.

Some additional annotations on CubeRace:

(1) THE PRICE
The price of the game will be € 1.59 ($ 1.99), a reasonable price that I think is right, and not because the game does not deserve more but because at the time of release there will be only two tracks. Unfortunately for now I'm the only developer of CubeRace being this a truly indie product, so, to design, assemble, tune and test a new track I calculated that it takes about 4 weeks; I could postpone the game a year and release it with 10-15 tracks, but in the end I preferred to release the game immediately and continue to develop in the following months, waiting for the feedback of the players (the most important thing).

However, a new track (Iapetus) will be added by the month of March and another (Enceladus) by the end of April.

(2) REPLAYABILITY
Needless to deny that for a racing game based on competition, replayability is an essential component for players; with only 2 tracks currently, it is important to evaluate the learning curve of the game. Usually developers say - easy to learn, hard to master - for CubeRace I can only say that to begin to get discrete performance with your "Jammy-N6" will take a few hours of play. After that, I count on the competition factor, on players ready to constantly improve on the Leaderboards.

I recommend watching the videos on the CubeRace Community Hub and on my Youtube channel to get an immediate idea of the gameplay and tips on how to tackle the tracks.

The appointment is in two days, for the release of the Game.

Stay tuned. Tragix▲.

The release of CubeRace was anticipated on February 22nd!

I wanted to let you know that the release of CubeRace was brought forward by one week, so you can buy and download the game as early as February 22nd.

The game is practically ready for release, but I have to do additional testing for Leaderboards and especially for controller/gamepad support, which for now remains a feature in Beta.

As for the Achievements, everything seems OK but I wanted to warn you that the Achievements of CubeRace are not for the casual player, you need to play many races in order to hope to earn the easiest Achievements, while you have to master your "Jammy-N6" for aspire to all Achievements.

This is a single person project, me, so be patient if something does not work properly at launch, tell me about bugs or anomalies, suggestions and advice; as far as I can I will continue the development of CubeRace, with the 2 new tracks arriving respectively by March and by April and with other additions and improvements that will come along the way.

Thanx.

CubeRace arrives on Steam on February 27th!

Hi guys I'm anxious and at the same time curious to know your reaction to my game ... just a small racing video game, but totally focused on the competition to reach the top of the leaderboard for the best time, or for the best speed or maybe for the best Score.

  • Fast tracks that you will face at over 500 Km/h (if you have trained enough)
  • Fast paced races, that you can quickly start again (and again) if your timelap is compromised

Currently I'm closing the Build 0.87 of CubeRace that should be the debute build of the game; I'm back from a grueling cycle of testing so that everything can go well at launch. This is my first game on Steam and I hope everything goes well with the Leaderboards and the Achievements.

Stay tuned.
