Player vs AI

Player vs AI

A new game mode where the player needs to confront artificial intelligence!
Features of the game mode:

  • 2 difficulty levels
  • The figure is immediately set to the specified position, and does not fall from above, as in single-player mode
  • The time to choose the position of the figure is limited
  • The speed of the game does not change
  • The winner is the one who gets 2500 points first
  • The final score depends on the outcome of the game, the difference in scores and the time spent on the game

Additional changes

  • 9 new achievements
  • A new item in the options "Crack in PvA mode", which allows you to turn off the crack effect during the game if it bothers you a lot (although I tried very hard to implement this effect ːsteamsadː)
  • The figure control system in both game modes has been redesigned - now it will be easier to rotate the figure when it is close to the wall

Afterword

If someone is wondering why I continue to support a long-forgotten game - this game is my graduation work for the university. In addition, I use this game as a platform for testing different ideas (for example, the crack effect), improving my programming skills, etc. And if this game helps someone to spend at least an hour of their time with interest, then it's wonderful :3

Update Notes For June 21, 2022

In case someone really reads it: the game has an update! (Wow! No way :0 )

List of changes

Scoring system:

Now the game will update the player's record every time the score changes, and not when summing up, as it was before. Which means now there is no need to specifically lose the game to update your record and get into the leaderboard.

Options:

2 new items have been added to the options:

  • Inverted camera (horizontal)
  • Inverted camera (vertical)

Some players complained that the game has an inverted camera by default (which is NOT true...). Now, everyone will be able to customize the camera control for themselves.

Controls:

Added the ability to reassign control keys. Have you always dreamed of moving a piece using the R[/Mouse3 keys, instead of boring WASD? Well, I have good news for you ;)
