It’s with heavy and broken hearts we have to announce that Narayana Johnson, AKA River Boy, has passed away.
Take some time today to listen to River Boy's music, including the Cult of the Lamb soundtrack. It touched so many people.
Please be patient with our team in this incredibly difficult time. We are a small team, and we are all feeling the loss immensely.

PC/Mac Hotfix Live
Fix has been pushed for a PC/Mac save sync issue.
This fix will only affect users who play Cult of the Lamb across Mac and Windows. Please be aware that once you open the game back up, a prompt will come up, asking you to use either your local save or your cloud save.
If you find any issues after this patch, you may report them in-game via the pause menu, or via our Steam Forums.

Documentary Time!
If you missed it, last year was HUGE for our development team. It was Massive Monster's (our studio's) 10-year anniversary, and we wanted to make it SPECIAL.
Last October, at PAXAus, we built a faithful recreation of the Cult of the Lamb Temple - and legally bound two amazing couples in unholy matrimony... in front of the entirety of PAX! We even threw a Cult of the Lamb rave (of course, all in the name of work and business. We're very professional).
We just released a documentary about what it is like for Devs at conventions, and all of the above (spoiler; wedding planning is not for the faint or weak of heart).
Thank you so much for all of your support, to our incredible players all around the world. We couldn't have come this far without you - and hopefully we'll be able to attend more events around the world! ❤️
Back to today...
As of now, we have spent the last few months crunching, focusing on creating even MORE exciting newness for Cult of the Lamb, and waging war on those pesky bugs. If you run into any, please report it in-game via the pause menu, and our Monster's will be on the case.

Cult of the Lamb has been in active development for around 6 years now, and we've spent so much time expanding the game with more characters, lore, content, local co-op and more!
We could not have created our latest update without our incredible community. Unholy Alliance was almost entirely made up of all the feedback and suggestions we have heard from players - from traits and questlines, to the much anticipated local co-op feature.
So, What's Next?
Well, it's still a tiny bit early to share... but what I can say is, we're working on something big for this game! Like Unholy Alliance, we've taken in feedback from players feedback, suggestions, and what's coming next will answer many of your questions since the last update!

We're so excited to finally be able to share this project with you all!
We’re huge fans of metal music, and we know there’s a lot of metalheads in the Cult of the Lamb community too. There’s a natural link between the game’s themes and heavy metal music and, given the recent release of our Unholy Alliance DLC and the Goat character, we thought - why not get some G.O.A.T.s from the world of metal, to transform River Boy’s iconic melodies into heavy metal slammers?
