CURSE has been updated to Unity 2017 which is a more efficient rendering engine.
We also did a somewhat extensive overhaul of the game to soften up the rough edges a bit. The overhaul includes a new achievement as well! See the bullet points below for a list of changes to the game.
Game Changes:
Graphics and audio update: Unity engine 2017 conversion increases fidelity and performance. We also improved some of the old visuals and audio and added some new ones.
Removed the ‘walk-back’ feature in most areas: In order to tighten up the gameplay we removed the walk back to the origin point aspect of movement and replaced it with a teleport. Movement is also sped up and more consistent.
New Achievement: There is a new book located within the Library that be investigated. In order to access it though, you’ll have to do a bit of exploring in other areas first.
Bug fixes and Polish: Fixed typos and some logic issues and added some more pizzaz to increase the enjoyment of the game.

The CURSE Halloween Edition is here!
Hello, True Believers!
The CURSE Halloween Edition is now live for a limited time.
This is a Halloween enhanced edition of Curse that is NOT DLC but instead a replacement for the standard version that is only available from now until November 1st.
We wanted to do something fun for our fans and the Halloween Edition is it!
Please take the time to play through the game again and check out all the cool Halloween additions we have made.
Also, there is a new Easter Egg ending that we added that wraps up the ending in a more fitting fashion. We wanted to thank all the people who purchased the game with this fun enhancement so please let us know what you think.

Patch Notes: 10/6/16
Greetings Paranormal Patriots!
The Stormlord team has been hard at work making some rather significant changes to the game based upon your feedback both here and via numerous "Let's Play" videos.
At Stormlord we take feedback seriously and will always strive to give our players what they want. We appreciate each and every one of you who have purchased the game or added CURSE to your wishlist, or played the demo.

Now, on to the changes in this latest patch.
Ghost Chase Mechanic Redesign:
You now have control over where you go when running for your life! Look around the room and when you see your cursor change to the run icon press the interact button to run in that direction (The Spacebar no longer applies).
Since the player now has a distinct advantage in getting away from the ghosts we felt that the Undead were being treated unfairly so we increased their movements speeds to compensate. Yep, things just got serious.
Easy mode has not been affected by the speed increase so our more cautious players now have a big advantage against the ghosts.
Save System Improvements:
More save points have been added to the game. The save system will also save closer to the ghost spawns so that you can get right back into the action if you get caught.
Misc Fixes and Polish:
The instructions have been updated to include some missing topics.
Fixed a bug where you, sometimes, could not select the second dialogue option with a controller plugged in.
New residents have taken over the Parlor fireplace.
The patch will go live at 9AM PST.

Ghost Chase Redesign!
Greetings and Salutations, True Believers!
We wanted to give you all a head's up on game changes that are being made based upon your feedback - Reviews, Let's Play videos, etc.
We take your feedback seriously so we are making changes to the game based upon it and we hope you like what we have coming up in the next patch starting with the Ghost Chase redesign.
The Ghost Chase redesign:
The redesign features 360° visual freedom - You can look all around while being chased by otherworldly spirits!
Multiple paths with visual indicators - If you see the run icon just left click and you'll head in that direction. There are several paths to choose from in most instances (not all but most) which gives you more freedom to mount your offensives.
There is a new video uploaded on the Store Page showcasing the second floor paths so check it out!
Patch Notes 09/09/2016
The game shows an icon in the bottom right corner of the screen to let you know that the game has been saved.
You can now change the difficulty in the middle of a game.
Added controller support (key mapping and look sensitivity is coming soon):
Look around Right Stick
Interact / Run from the Ghosts Right Trigger or A Button
Flashlight Left Trigger or X Button
Backpack B Button
Main Menu Start
Fixed: The game will now regain focus when using Alt+Tab.
Fixed: Quitting out of a game and then starting a new game will no longer cause visibility issues.
