We've just uploaded a new patch that fixes a bunch of bugs that have been discovered in the game since the last update. These bug fixes primarily target game lock ups and stability, but also some fixes for strange edge cases with various combinations of pins and cards.
Examples include: - Fixing loss of input in various scenarios - Fixed extra long timer on +5 timer pin - Fixed various issues with Ice Ball - Fixed issues with bosses, particularly the desert boss - Fixed some issues with save data
There have been some other reported issues that have been pretty scary -- issues with saving, locking up, losing progress, etc. -- that unfortunately we haven't been able to exactly reproduce and fix, but we are hoping this update makes the game more stable all around so hopefully there will be far fewer opportunities for those bad issues to show up.

We want to say a huge thank you to all of you who have supported us over this year and huge congrats to all who have ASCENDED! In celebration of the anniversary we have a bunch of exciting announcements for you!
And to those of you who haven’t quite reached Golf Heaven yet, we have a new update coming that’s going to help you finally smash your Golf Ball all the way to the highest of Heavens!
The GOLF PIN Update!
The team has been hard at work over the last few months to bring you the new Golf Pin update! This new update balances the Difficulty feedback we received, with a fun new way to customize your playstyle in each Round. With it, this new update also has a whole host of Quality of Life features.
Golf Pins are a new mechanical addition to Cursed to Golf. You will be able to choose one from three random Pins at the start of each Round and then purchase them in a new section at each Eterni-Tee! Each one can have a large effect on the way you approach each Hole or even each Shot!
You will be able to equip up to a maximum of three Pins during each run. Play to your own strengths and choose Pins that compliment your playstyle!
Want to start every tee shot in a Hole with a Rocket-ball? NOW YOU CAN!
Explode all Shot Idols when entering a Hole? THERE’S A PIN FOR THAT!
Control the Angle Meter and make perfect shots each time? WHY NOT!
Choose wisely and master the Course your own way! Try and combo Pin effects together to really maximize your Round… That cheeky Greenskeeper won’t be able to stop you from reaching Golf Heaven now!
Head into the new “Pins” section in the Eterni-Tee shops and check out which Pins might be available. If you don’t like what you see, you can always Reroll to see three new Pins.
Magnets HOW DO THEY WORK?! Missing your final shot at the Hole? Why not just stick a Magnet on it, then you will never miss!
WOMBO-COMBO-GOLFO! Equip up to three Pins at one time. Try to see how you can combo each Pins power to maximize the effects!
We are hard at work finishing the update and while we don’t have a release date yet… It is coming SOON. So, get ready to don your best Pins and we hope to see you all reaching Golf Heaven!

We’ve partnered with our friends at Lost in Cult and Black Screen Records to bring you the incredible soundtrack of Cursed to Golf on high quality 180g vinyl!
This 2xLP set features the energetic chiptunes of the game by composer Mark Sparling, so you can relive your finest drives and memorable caddie moments! The adorable vinyl art is provided by the talented artist, CrisppyBoat and will include special extras like coasters, stickers, sheet music, and even a postcard from Golf Purgatory!

The Cursed to Golf team here at Chuhai Labs has been hard at work since we last spoke! We have been collating feedback, tackling through the forums and listening to all of your comments. A big thank you to all the players who have experienced Golf Purgatory so far and a special thanks to all players who have taken the time to review, comment, give feedback and help us to make the best darn GOLFLIKE we possibly can! And of course with that, we have been hard at work on our first "big" update to Cursed to Golf since launch. Presenting to you the PURGATORY REMIX update!
A free update for all players that introduces two additional game modes, Practice Round and Remix Round as well as a host of quality of life updates. Allow me to explain each new mode in a little more detail!
Practice Round:
Practice Round is a new mode we've created to help players with the perils of Golf Purgatory!
In this new mode, you will be able to start a blank 18-hole run through the Purgatory, Oasis and Caverns biomes while setting your own custom rules! Through Practice Round you will be able to familiarize yourself with the various dungeon-like holes of Cursed to Golf and practice making your way through the various hazards in hopes of being able to take on Classic mode and finally Ascend!
Set your starting PAR Count.
Enable "Hole Restart" option.
Enable "Cursed Holes" option.
Set your starting Ace Card deck.
Set your "Shot Idol" options.
Set your starting biome area.
Enable "Cursed" rewards each hole.
If you're struggling to make it to latter biomes, use Practice Round!
(Note: There is no story progress or achievement unlocking in Practice Round)
Remix Round:
Remix Round is a brand-new daunting game mode for those experienced Cursed Golfers who have already made the Ascension (or close to)!
Tackle 9-remixed-purgatory-holes, devilishly designed to be the meanest, toughest and most difficult holes yet! Get yourself on a new leaderboard and show off.
NO SHOT IDOLS.
NO BOONS.
NO ETERNI-TEE SHOPS.
Survive only on end of hole rewards!
If you've finished the 18-holes of Golf Purgatory and Ascended, but left wanting more this is the mode for you. We look forward to seeing you all scream... bwahahaha.
Quality of Life - Updates:
Alongside the new game modes, we have also added a "hole" host of new quality of life options in the settings menu based on some of the common feedback! We will continue to add additional features and quality of life settings as we move forward. If there's still options you'd like to have included, please leave a comment in the discussions thread!

It's been a week since Cursed to Golf opened its gates to Golf Purgatory and the first thing we want to do is to thank you all. So: THANK YOU! ❤️ It's so great to see you all playing our little Golflike. And thanks a ton for providing a massive bunch of feedback since the release. That's really appreciated! ːsteamhappyː
And of course we want you to have as much fun as possible with Cursed to Golf! That's why the update 1.0.3 is available from now on, featuring a bunch of fixes and changes including zoom toggle, mystery pack card changes and upped cash.
But there is way more - this is the complete change log including all fixes and changes:
Design Changes:
Zoom Toggle
New feature - The ability to zoom out has been added.
Players can toggle between the default camera and a new zoomed out frame.
Birdie Eye camera options unchanged.
Cash Rewards
Upped; players will now receive more cash per hole completion.
Mystery Booster Packs
Mystery Boosters now have the ability to unlock late game cards earlier.
Cost upped - $1250
Blessing Meter
Ace Card reward rate upped.
“Practice Shot” added to the card reward pool.
Power Meter
Animation speed slowed across all clubs.
Angle Meter
Animation speed slowed across all clubs.
Curse Trigger UI
Opacity changed; when players change clubs or start a shot the Curse Trigger UI in the top-right corner of the screen will lower in opacity.
Bug Fixes:
Fixed issue where controller input is unrecognized upon the main menu.
Fixed issue where Explorer Boss Cutscene “Short” would play incorrectly.
Fixed issue where Hole 16/17 Ace Card chest rewards were incorrect.
Adjust position and appearance of the auto-saving icon.
Fixed issue where Ace Cards could be interacted with while the “Curse Survived” banner was playing in Cursed holes, causing input issues.
Ace Card Chest icons flip immediately after opening them on the World Map.
Fixed issue with Course Map not scrolling enough to show all holes.
Disabled the ability to fast-forward through the final textbox of cutscenes.
Disabled the ability to fast-forward through the Boss “Boon Unlocked” textbox.
Increased scroll speed of Course Map when using mouse wheel input.
Fixed issue where Eterni-tee hub objects couldn't immediately be interacted.
Fixed issue with fast-forwarding Boss golf shots, causing issues.
Golf Ball is now destroyed when colliding with the camera collision boundary.

Fixed issue where cutscenes wouldn't pause on the final dialog before a playable section of a cutscene.
Ace Card controls UI tip box issues addressed.
Fixed issue where the equivalent of "NEW ROUND" in Italian and Brazilian Portuguese localization was mixed.
Fixed issue where the Explorer’s “Gimme” wouldn't trigger when going into a Mimic.
Force game app into the nearest supported resolution when on a display with an unsupported aspect ratio or resolution.
Fixed issue where Golf Ball would fall out of Pipe Rail entrances when fast-forwarding.
Fixed issue with camera when using a radial controlled Ace Card at the starting point of a hole.
Fixed issue where the Scotsman would sometimes appear to jump forward in position before taking a shot.
Fixed issue where Front 9 and Back 9 trophies would sometimes not trigger.
Fixed issue where the wrong rewards would be given in Ace Card chests.
