As we unveil this demo, we thought this would be a good time to offer a glimpse into the backstory of the original Cyber Manhunt game on how it has paved the way for Cyber Manhunt: New World, especially for those who haven't had the chance to play it.
In Cyber Manhunt, you stepped into the shoes of an investigator at Titan Corporation, a powerful tech conglomerate. Under the guidance of the CEO Ashley, your journey began with a seemingly straightforward mandate: to solve cases using a blend of traditional detective work and an arsenal of social engineering tools. Some of your cases involve probing mysterious deaths, high-profile data leaks, looking into missing persons, scandals, and uncovering hidden secrets.
But as you progressed, what started as standard investigation work quickly turned into something much more complicated. You found yourself unraveling a conspiracy that connected each case to the next. Each solved case brought you closer to understanding the influence of a hooded figure known only as Van. This mysterious character, initially just a suspect in your cases, soon emerged as the mastermind behind a series of interconnected incidents.
The climax of Cyber Manhunt was a revelation of Van's ultimate plan. His actions weren't random acts of cybercrime but were part of a well-planned scheme to destabilize the entire city. Except for the game content, we also added Steam Trading Cards and "Skip" feature for the mini-game "Hack Servers" in Hello,World, so you can skip this game if you do not want to play it.
