Upcoming update will come in February of 2017

Hello everyone,

Don't scare, the game isn't abandoned. We are just migrate to the new version of Unity, which broke 75% of UI's screens. 2 month we are talked with Unity, has share with them our project sources and explain what happen and where the broken point, but they just said: "Ehm guys, we are can't help you with nothing".

So we are start to migrate all our's UI's to new engine version, that's why upcoming update is delayed and will be near of February.

Alpha update 07.08.2016

Hello everyone

The August has started and we are back with new update. This time we are focus on hero images and change the tournament bracket. Also we are fixed a lot amount of bugs, which prevent you from keep playing our game. Added the ratings calculations and changed match UI, also fixed some markup bugs on match view. Guys honestly based on previous update when we are forget to update code and overall fatigue of me, then I’m decided to go for a holiday until the september. In september will back to work on this game and the first point will be finish hero's skills and match view.

What has done:

  1. Fixes for level up the hero:

    • The experience row is showing an actual value. I mean right now it's show how many experience hero has in current moment.
    • When hero lvl up, then shows an actual hero level.
    • If hero don't have the ability points to spent, then Level up button is not shown.
    • When you are learn skill for hero, then the skill button is active for actions in a time. So you are don't need to wait next turn untilt the button is shown.

  2. Added the rating calculations. So each day players play games, MMR games. So when you decide to sign player, then you may check they MMR rating.
  3. Changed UI on match frame
  4. Fixed bug on pick/ban frame which prevent you from continue actions
  5. Change the tournaments displaying and matches

    • So right now all series is bo3 series, rather than bo1, which was before.
    • On the tournaments grid you may select the tournament and then you may click "show bracket" button and you will see the bracket
    • Also all tournaments have right now 8 teams, will add ability to add more in future.

  6. Added remaining images for heroes

  7. Fixed the critical problem's which prevent you from keep playing after first match

Alpha update 09.07.2016

Hello dear players,

Swiftly after the last, we’re following up with our newest update. It’s been nearly half a year since we began regularly updating the game, and we hope those who have been with us from the beginning can see how the game has evolved overtime. In this update we have added another 2 sets of hero skills. We’ve also populated skills for all heroes. (just populated not implemented). We also added music and hero images (and fixed the problems with displaying heroes and player images) to the game and started to work on skills (with a new 2D artist). In addition, we added the ability to level up heroes during a fight. We’ve starting working on FPS mode, making templates for the players and teams. If you’ve found any bugs feel free to leave it in a discussion forum).


More patch notes:

  1. Added music into the game after the many reviews. The initial idea was to play your own music of choice, but we added an unobtrusive soundtrack for popular demand...
  2. Added skills for following heroes:

    • Hedgehog

      • First skill reduces victim's armor, max stacks = 4.
      • Second skill damages enemy heroes in an area.
      • Gives hedgehog a chance to reflect damage if attacked from behind. Damage based on 2nd spell level.
      • When hedgehog cast spells, he becomes the only targetable unit by enemy heroes.

    • Rebel Knight

      • First spell gives stun and damage.
      • Second spell gives splash attack.
      • Third spell gives armour to all friendly heroes.
      • Ultimate gives percentage of bonus damage.

    • Stone Giant

      • First spell stuns and damages enemy.
      • Second spell gives damage.
      • Third spell gives a stun chance for melee attacks.
      • Ultimate grows giant which gives him damage bonus attack speed reduction.


  3. Fixed bug with displaying player's photo on team's frame and on transfer's frame.
  4. Replaced old hero images.
  5. Fixed the problem with displaying hero images.
  6. Changed the UI on pick and ban frame.
  7. Fixed the player count for each team. Guess will be correct if each team has 6 players (5 main and 1 in reserve).
  8. Added the possibility to fire players.
  9. Fixed the problem with displaying hero images in the fight frame.
  10. Added ability to level up the hero.

    • Hero kills and assists are rewarded with experience and gold.
    • When the hero receives required experience.

      • Level up hero by 1.
      • The ‘New Level’ button appears.

    • When you click ‘New Level’ you are given the option to level up a skill by 1.
    • Max skill level is 4.
    • The squares under the skill shows proper values.

      • Unmarked for unlearned skills.
      • Shows one gold square for each level of skill.
      • White square shown when skillpoint is available.




What we plan for next month

  1. Add images for remaining heroes.
  2. Add skill images for 5 heroes.
  3. Add skills for 4 more heroes.
  4. Fix the level up ability, meaning you can only level up ultimate on 6th, 11th and 16th level.
  5. Fix the problem with resolution.
  6. Need to add hero statistics panel.
  7. Update tournaments.
  8. Add tournament bracket and bo2/bo3 series.
  9. Add contract requirements for players.
  10. Add scouts and change the transfer process.
  11. Add skills for 5 more heroes.
  12. Add ranking system, where players will play and from where scouts will take the hot prospects for your team.
  13. Add the ability to level up your hero during the fight.

Alpha update 19.06.2016

Hello dear players

It was a very productive month for us. We’ve been added the steam cards for Cyber Team Manager and changed UI to new style, also reworked teams and players (names, stats). We are plan a lot but made only a half, the other half will need to do in the rest of month. Also we are back to our CG work, so soon will be done unique images for each hero and skills. Also some of the heroes will be removed because of different reasons, but it’s will be only the 30% from total count. Also when will add the skills for 15 more heroes then will hide others (which dont have implemented skills) until the implement skills for it. Further explanation of this and upcoming patch read below.

What has done:

  1. Added steam cards
  2. Changed to new UI style following panels:

    • Before match panel
    • Emails panel
    • Positions panel
    • Transfers panel
    • Team panel
    • Main panel
    • New game panel

  3. Also has changed the team info when you are selecting the team.
  4. Added ability for adding training's second tactic. So from now you can to add another tactic for team, which team may use in match. But before add, you are need to set this tactic as primary.
  5. Formula for calculating training's stats which you are assign from trainings panel has changed.
  6. Each day the player will have fixed amount of points based on percent which you are selected. So here is 6 common groups which will be afflect on different player's stats.

    • Attack: Reaction, Brave, Aggression, Creativity
    • Defence: Technique, Team play, Creativity
    • Tactic: Technique, Anticipation, Flair
    • Team play: Creativity, Decisionmaking, Leadership, Team play, Work rate
    • Micro game: Last hit, Reaction, Concentration, Decisionmaking
    • Macro game: Positioning, Technique

  7. Fixed player's conditions calculations. So each day the player condition is restored after the condition decreased (for example when the player back from vacation or after the hard matches). Also in the day when team play's match the player condition restore less effective than in the day when player have a rest. Also if you are set training's intensity to high, then the player less effective restore his condition too.
  8. Added unique teams with names and players instead of current randomly generated teams.

    • 40 teams in 4 regions.
    • 200 players in this 40 teams.
    • 200 available players for transfer.

  9. Also has changed the process of assign player’s photo. So right now has 52 different modifications of this photos which assigned to players.
  10. Changed the teams assign to the tournaments. So it's 10 teams in each tournament with both top/mid/low players. But it will need future fixes.
  11. Added organizations. This is will be first step before implementing FPS mode. So the next step will be implement FPS mode :)
  12. Added the microeconomic for teams. calculation salaries / sells / profit, etc. Also you can track your balance change in finance tab. Also will need future fixes for this tab.


What will need to do until the end of next update(at least half):

  1. Need to add heroes statistics panel.
  2. Change tournaments to new one type of implementation.
  3. Need to add tournament bracket and bo2/bo3 series.
  4. Also need to change contract requirements for player's.
  5. Fix the player's count for each team. Guess will be correct if for each team will be only 6 players (5 main and 1 in reserve). What do you think?
  6. Need to add scouts and change the transfer process.
  7. Need to add skills for 5 more heroes.
  8. Need to add rankings system, where players will play solo games and from where scouts will take the hot prospects for your team or you can do it yourself.
  9. Need to add the possibility to lvl up your hero during the fight.
  10. Sketch up the FPS mode inside the game. It will be demo version and guess unplayable, so it will be hidden from you.


The next update will be near from 1st till 10th of July 2016.

Alpha update 01.06.2016

Hello everyone,

The May has ended, meaning a new update has arrived. Throughout May, we mostly focused on the importing of heroes from the design document, to the game, also adding new skills. We’ve fixed many bugs with hero positioning on the map, along with conceptualizing what remains to be added before the game is playable. Bringing some good news to light, we’ve been working efficiently, bringing us closer to the playable product than previously estimated. Our goal is to bring out a playable version within the coming two months.

What has been done:

  1. Added more heroes, strength 17, agility 16, intelligence 21.
  2. Added skills for 7 more heroes
  3. Added skills for Dark Ranger

    • First skill gives decreases enemy movement speed
    • Second skill silences for an amount of rounds
    • Third skill gives bonus attack damage against all ranged heroes
    • Ultimate gives bonus agility to dark ranger

  4. Added skills for Flying Poison

    • First skill adds poison to standard hero attack, which decreases enemy movement speed and attack speed
    • Second skills gives passive bonus attack damage, increasing based on victim's missing health
    • Third passive spell gives hero magic resist and grants poison debuff to enemy when taking damage
    • Ultimate gives huge poison debuff (damage, attack speed, movement speed) which lasts several turns

  5. Added skills for Dead King

    • First skill gives damage and applies stun
    • Second one gives passive lifesteal ability to whole team
    • Third one adds passive critical chance
    • Ultimate gives second life if the hero dies

  6. Added skills for Apothecary

    • First skill stun enemy hero
    • Second skill gives fire damage per second
    • Third skill boost allied hero attack speed
    • Ultimate gives a chance to cast spells 2/3/4 times per a cast

  7. Added skills for Necromant

    • First skill heals allies and damages enemies
    • Second gives permanent damage to enemy, based on enemy's health
    • Third skill gives bonus amount of HP and Mana after getting a kill
    • Ultimate damages enemy based on victim's missing health

  8. Added skills for Fire Witch

    • First one gives area based damage
    • Second one gives area based stun
    • Third one temporarily increases attack speed with consecutive attacks
    • Ultimate deals huge amount of damage to the victim

  9. Added skills for Thunderer

    • First spell damages enemy hero and jumps to nearest enemies
    • Second spell damages target enemy and nearest enemies
    • Third passive spell damages enemy heroes each time when Thunderer use spells
    • Ultimate damages all enemy heroes

  10. Added the displaying of spell cooldown timers. Timer is shown when mouse hovers over skill.
  11. Fixed problem with displaying all heroes in heroes screen.
  12. Fixed problem with init teams. When team is init, then by default its primary tactic is set to 1-1-3 and players assign their roles on the map, based on their role in the game.
  13. Fixed the problem with displaying players positions in the positional map inside the tactics screen from the start.
  14. Fixed problem with position view and changed the player grid a bit.
  15. Fixed select positions on map.
  16. Added “reserve” value to positions. Players which in reserve, cant play in the match.
  17. Added additional checking when you are selecting position. When you are selecting the positions, it's unavailable until you free it of any players in that position. Only one player can be assigned to a position at a time.
  18. You can now only have 5 different positions assigned at a team in a team.
  19. Fixed the problem with positions on match view. Changed position assigning in algorithm, so from now positions will depends on what you are selecting from positions screen.
  20. Changed the idea of position selection. It will now depend greatly on the tactics you’re planning to use/train, and the match fights.


What we need to do in the next month:

  1. Manager panel, match panel, positions panel, team panel, transfer panel, refresh UI.
  2. Add heroes statistics panel.
  3. Add ability to train second tactic.
  4. Fix formula's for calculating training and form.
  5. Fix player condition calculations
  6. Add teams with names and players instead of current randomly generated teams

Alpha update 09.05.2016

Hello dear players,

Another month has gone by and a new update arrives. As I said, it was completed much faster than previous one. Continuing at this rate, the next update will be in a month or so. It was a very productive month in which we’ve added many new features. We’ve also refactored the code which splits the game into separate modules, decreasing the overall development time. The next update will focus on teams, positions, and UI changes. If we can continue to work at this pace, then a playable version should be released sometime in June for you to enjoy.

What we’ve done:

  1. Added the training panel

    • You can select different ways to train your team and see how well it was received
    • You can see your match schedule for the next 9 days.You can set the main training focus
    • You will see how much your players like the training
    • You can also set the personal training for each player
    • And can see your team conditions

  2. In the fight screen when HP decreases, then the bar decreases too
  3. In the fight screen when MP decreases, then the bar decreases too
  4. When you don’t have enough mana, you can't cast a skill
  5. You can’t cast a skill if it’s inactive or before you learn it
  6. When hero is stunned, it displays in the aura panel
  7. Each round heroes replenish their health/mana regen based on their str/int attributes
  8. Each round heroes receive the amount of gold/experience based on their role in the team. (farming attribute, etc.)
  9. During a fight when the hero is killed, the killer and assisters take an amount of gold based on their level, net worth, victim level, victim net worth, etc.
  10. In the fight screen when you hover your mouse over a skill, it shows the skill’s description if available
  11. Added spells for Earthquaker

    • 1st spell. You stun the nearest hero if in range, affected by your positioning attribute.
    • 2nd spell. Temporarily increases damage by a percentage, scales with level.
    • Ultimate. Waves of damage hit all enemy heroes within range. The number of heroes depends on the player's positioning attribute.

  12. Added spells for Orc Chief

    • 1st spell. Aggro enemy heroes to attack you.
    • 2nd spell. Gives bleed to enemy hero.
    • Passive. When attacked, the orc has a chance to hit back.
    • Ultimate. Smashes enemy for a large amount of damage.

  13. Added spells for Shadow Assassin

    • 1st spell. Damage and reduce enemy hero’s attack speed.
    • 2nd spell. Basic attack hits twice instead of once. Adds extra attacks scaling with level.
    • Passive. Chance to dodge attacks.
    • Passive. Gives critical strike chance.

  14. Changed how heroes are displayed in pick/ban panel. Heroes on the panel are split into radiant and dire sections by their nature. Note that this is only a cosmetic adjustment and you can still pick heroes from either side.
  15. The KDA stats taken from matches are shown on the home screen.
  16. When the match is over, teams are awarded (or deducted) an amount of pennants (fans) based on their playstyle, win rate, team play, etc.
  17. Added some dispersion to the match screen when heroes move through the battleground for easier viewing.
  18. Added jungler position.


What we plan to do for the next update:

  1. Add more heroes
  2. Add skills for more 10 heroes
  3. Fix problems with viewing positions. Fix hero positioning on the map.
  4. Add position selecting screen for selecting hero positions.
  5. Refresh the UI for the manager panel, match panel, position panel, team panel, and transfer panel.
  6. Add heroes statistics panel.
  7. Also will be changed positions select at all It will be depends on which tactics you will use and train.
  8. Rework teams, change names, and give them logos.
  9. Add tournament bracket for each tournament.


Although this list is shorter, the features are more complex. We will also look to fix common issues with graphics and text, so don’t miss out on us. The next update will be near the end of May 2016. After that, we’ll begin working on the match mechanics. After we’ve finished, you’ll be able to open Cyber Team Manager and see the vast improvements we’ve made to the early access version we released last winter. We hope you enjoy the game!
