Several hours ago, I finished setting up a series of Steam Achievements-all twelve of them in number-for Daedalic Complex. With cyanic's help, the whole implementation went way more smoothly than I'd ever expected, finishing it up only in a matter of 2 weeks. :) Thanks, cyanic! (and bless you!)

Steam Achievements coming up! (plus some minor updates)
Hi there!
I'm planning to set up some Steam Achievements for Daedalic Complex pretty soon, and this will be done no later than mid or late August(no matter what). :)
There will also be at least 10 to 12 Achievements by the time the set-up is completed. Below are some details on it, though they could be changed depending on the situations:
1. 3 Achievements on usage of certain items(e.g. hp potions)
2. 3 Achievements regarding the kill count of enemies.
3. One of them on weapon upgrades
4. Another one on Exp Shrines
5. One each for the endings available within the game
6. One for the completion of the tutorial stage
7. Achievement(s) regarding parties & companions
Moreover, within 12 hours from here on, there will be simple updates on replacing Logo screens at the beginning of the game-it will be changed into something with much more simplistic designs & shorter transition time. This applies not only to Daedalic Complex, but also SHELL_BREAK, my another game. There will be no changes for the in-game contents for both games; rest assured.

Pre-announced updates and amendments are finally done!
Hi, everyone.
A series of planned updates and fixes, which were announced about 3 to 4 weeks ago in the early december, are now up and available! These updated features will be automatically downloaded into your local folder of Daedalic Complex via Steam.
Changes that are made on the gaming features through the updates are listed below:
1. Internal database within the game is re-organized to enhance gaming performances.
2. Some graphic assets, such as animation sets and icons, are changed to better describe the features of items, skills, and other in-game stuff they are supposed to represent.
3. Parameter fixes, especially the ones regarding status ailments(i.e. Poison, Bleedout) chances of weapons and enemy units, have been made. However, rest assured that the core parameters, like ATK, DEF, MDF, and MAT, of both the weapons and armors are not changed at all; they remains the same as before.
4. Graphic and sound resources, which are not used in the game, have been found and deleted.
With these updates active, there might be a slight decrease in overall gameplay difficulty. Still, the game itself should be challenging and hard as it has been, so don't worry about getting your gaming experiences spoiled.

A plan for some minor revisions & adjustments in near future.
Hello, fans!
I'm now thinking of making some small adjustments and updates around the late december(or next january) after I get myself done with the remaining works for the upcoming game end of this year, SHELL_BREAK.
The updates in discuss won't be too large in scale to change the game upside-down; these adjustments are mainly for enhancing performances by revising the internal database(which is quite significantly related to usage of the computer memory) of the program.
Along with such database modifications, I'm also thinking of adding and(or) fixing some gaming features(such as graphics of certain objects, descriptions for items and gears, etc) just a bit so that players won't be unnecessarily feeling uncomfortable while playing the game, Daedalic Complex.
Should the updates be really made regarding those above, I'll let you know via notifications ASAP.

A notice on discount plans for near future, end of this year.
Hello, everyone.
First of all, it was a real shame that I couldn't put some discounts on Daedalic Complex for this year's Autumn Sale period. At the time of first launching the game, I never thought of anything about Black Friday period on late november, this month, failing to plan wisely for the entire month's discounts and promotions. ;(
Still, there will be a nice, pre-planned discount, with its sales rate bigger than that of the launch discount, on the product in late december this year for sure, so keep your eyes on Daedalic Complex for its upcoming sales. Please don't miss the chance taking place in near future, people!

A short notice about uploading a guide to the main game.
Hello,
After some considerations, I've decided to upload the guide file to the main game just like I did to the demo version.
In order to check out the file, first you'll have to update your game, go into the directory folder where the game is installed, and then look for the pdf file. The software will be automatically updated whenever it is able to do so, as you all know, so be sure to check whether the game is up to the date or not. :)
Should there be 'any' bugs or problems, please let me know ASAP so that I can fix it right away.

A guide for the demo version is now available.
Hello to all!
I've just made an update to the demo version of Daedalic Complex so that the game folder will also include a single pdf file, which is a guide document to help you play the demo without any major difficulties.
Practically, the guide also works the same for a tutorial stage of the full game, too. However, I'm still not sure if it's going to be beneficial even for the people who already bought and are up to play the full copy of Daedalic Complex; thus, I won't upload the guide file(which only helps you get through the tutorial stage) to the full-version program until the considerable amounts of requests are made for sure.
The guide is not supposed to be a 'mandatory' material you have to go through in order to play the demo. It just helps you play the game without serious difficulties or problems. So, should there be any occasion where you can't clear the demo at all, you'll just have to refer to the guide file in the program folder.
Hope it's gonna be a great help for you to enjoy the demo!

Full version finally released and available!
Hello, everyone!
The full-version game of Daedalic Complex has been finally released and became available for everyone. There will be a 20% discount on the full-price of the game for a week starting from today, 8th of November, so don't miss the chance!

A minor update to the demo version program.
Hello to all!
I've just made some few, minor updates for the demo version game of Daedalic Complex, all of which were already applied to the not-released-yet full version as well.
Contents of the updates are followings:
1. Faster movement speed for characters in the game
2. Changes of sprite designs of some characters
These updates are not huge enough to change the whole demo version upside down, so don't worry whether your gaming experience so far will go ruined; I made these slight changes only to keep up with the improved functions and features of upcoming full-version of the game. :)
