We’ve been working hard on a special build of the game opening up a new path to a brand new boss! Try your luck against Axolangelo or try out the new Gardens path and face off against Scissorella! In order to access the special beta build you will need to join the Mad Mimic Community Discord and follow the instructions in the #beta-access channel!

Final 48 Hours of Kickstarter, Closed Betas, and a Thank You from the Devs!
Hey everyone! We’re nearing the end of the Dandy Ace Kickstarter and wanted to discuss our team’s plans moving forward with you all.
With our Kickstarter ending in less than 48 hours, it is unlikely we will reach the funding goal but this isn’t cause for alarm! Through your amazing support and excitement for Dandy Ace we’ve gotten the opportunity to partner up with Neowiz to allow us to continue development and release Dandy Ace with the launch features and content we had planned. We’ll be bringing Dandy Ace to PC in early 2021 followed by Switch, Xbox, and Playstation in the months after.
Thank you to all of the community members that believed in Dandy Ace and our team enough to back our Kickstarter Campaign and those of you that shared it with others. While those pledges will all be cancelled and returned to you if we are unsuccessful at the end of the campaign, we’d like to provide beta access to any player that purchased a pledge during the campaign as a token of our gratitude. We hope to start running Closed Beta testing in the next few weeks in October, showcasing new features, content, and also providing the testers with a direct feedback line to the development team. Final Week of Dandy Ace Kickstarter, Development Updates and Community Giveaway
Hey everyone,
We wanted to give our followers an update on all things Dandy Ace. The team has been very happy with the positive reception for Dandy Ace at Gamescom as well as PAX Online and we’ve been hard at work getting the game ready for launch early next year! We’ve got more bosses, enemies, levels, and features coming and can’t wait to let you see them all. If you missed our latest Developer stream over the weekend showcasing a few of the new enemies and our second boss, Scissorella, you can catch the rebroadcast on our Steam page now.
Scissorella is the second boss you’ll encounter in Dandy Ace. Found within the thorn infested Garden, Scissorella and her faithful Oozes will provide players with a unique challenge that will test their ability to take on multiple enemies on a changing battlefield. Prior to the fight against Scissorella, Ace will have to get past a legion of Oozes and one of our newest enemies, Minirella! Minirella gives players a glimpse of what they can expect from Scissorella and her attacks. Ace will have to learn to maneuver around Minirella’s Thorn Storm and Smash Rebound. Thorn Storm fires a burst of thorns in a cone in front of Minirella, slowly moving in a specific direction. Smash Rebound causes Minirella to attack anyone in front of her. After a short delay, the attack reactivates and deals more damage.
Our Kickstarter Campaign is nearing the end with less than a week to go. You’ll have until September 24th at 5 AM (PST) to pledge to the project to secure your digital copy of the game for launch as well as any other additional rewards at each backer tier. We’re planning to get Closed Beta tests going next month and will be inviting backers as well as active community members from our Discord to help test some of the new things we’ve got in the works for Dandy Ace alongside the development team. We’re also planning community events and will have more information to share with you in the coming weeks to show off a brand new feature we’re excited to get into streamers’ hands to share with their communities, Twitch Integration!
You can now pledge to secure a digital copy of Dandy Ace at launch for Steam, Switch, or Xbox! We are unable to offer Playstation keys through Kickstarter at this time but if this changes we’ll offer existing backers that option too!

Dandy Ace Global Publishing Partnership with Neowiz & PAX Online Attendance

Neowiz and Mad Mimic will be bringing Dandy Ace to PAX Online with the rest of Neowiz’ titles, where players can get a look at the game in action and try the demo available on Steam. In addition, all of Neowiz’ games will be on sale with our very first Neowiz Publisher’s Steam Sale from September 8th 10AM ~ September 10th 10AM (PST), this includes titles like Skul: The Hero Slayer, Plebby Quest, and DJMAX Respect V. In addition to the Publisher Steam Sale we will be adding Pledge Tier at $15 for a limited time that will include a Digital Copy of the game for either PC, Switch, or Xbox when Dandy Ace launches in 2021!
This Pledge Tier will be available on our Kickstarter from September 8th 10AM - September 10th 10AM (PST).

Dandy Ace Community Feedback / Q&A Event - Starting Now!
We’ve received a lot of great feedback on our new demo recently and would like to reach out to all of those that have played it to share their experience with the development team!
Join us in the Mad Mimic Community Discord now and chat with other Dandy Ace fans as well members of the Mad Mimic Dev team. We want to hear what you liked, what you felt should change, what kinds of things you’d like to see added to Dandy Ace for launch or the future, and your overall thoughts on the game! We’ll be hanging out in voice chat with everyone hosting a guided roundtable discussion to gather your feedback. We can also answer any questions the community may have about Dandy Ace or its development. There's always a chance the development team may share some never before seen content with those that attend ;)
We plan to invite members of the discord and backers to a special testing group to play development builds down the road as we get closer to the full launch, giving you a first look at all the new things coming to Dandy Ace and allowing the community to give their insight during development. The best way to get involved is to be active in our Discord! Closed Beta tests are also planned in the coming months so be on the lookout for that.

Today, we are thrilled to launch our Kickstarter for Dandy Ace. With a goal of $25K, we hope to use the funding in order to add even more content to the game before its 2021 launch, and bring it to current and next-gen consoles in the coming year.

Dandy Ace is almost complete, but we want it to be even bigger and better when we launch in 2021. We want to add more bosses, more enemies, more spells, and just… MORE of everything. We can release the game now, but to make Ace his absolute best, we need your help.
To celebrate our Kickstarter launch, we have decided to expand our free demo and include Axolangelo, our first boss, in the game! Axolangelo, the Master of Arts, is the mixture of an axolotl with a famous painter and one of the first major challenges and bosses Ace will encounter in the Ever-Changing Palace.

Dandy Ace postpone release date
The most important factor for this decision was our commitment to quality, in addition to the extremely positive feedback from the community.
Among the additions and improvements prepared for Dandy Ace in this extension of development we can expect:
A new game mode - An ambitious new mode that transforms Dandy Ace's gameplay will be added to the game as originally planned
Narrative Improvements - Addition of new dialogues and narration of characters within the game
Twitch Integration - Spectators will be able to interact with streamers when playing
Game Records - General performance statistics will be recorded so that players can check their best times on a run, which card is most used, which was their most dangerous enemy, number of hours of play and much more
New enemies - Creation of at least 5 new original enemies
Dandy Ace is an over the top action game with roguelike progression, that follows this fabulous magician seeking to combine and use his magical cards, fighting and looting his way to defeat the Green-Eyed Illusionist and free himself from a cursed mirror.
