I'm excited to announce that V-Hunter Puzzler Dx, which just released, is teaming up with Dark Crypt in the Puzzle Dungeons Bundle!
Just like Dark Crypt, V-Hunter is a turn-based puzzle game about dungeons and monsters, however in V-Hunter you won't be avoiding monsters but hunting them instead across 60 bite-sized levels.
The bundle is complete your collection type, meaning if you already own Dark Crypt, you can still get V-Hunter Puzzler Dx via the bundle and still get an extra discount.
Hello everyone, since Dark Crypt is part of the Czech & Slovak Games Week, I, Martin, the solo developer, will be streaming it and all my other games during this event!
A decent amount of players struggled with this level. Since it's very early level, I added an extra gate for better sign posting. This does not change the level's solution nor PAR. It only communicates better on which area the player should focus on before pulling the first switch.
Lost Soul Light Fix
As you may know, Dark Crypt received a graphical overhaul update. There was a bug with the Lost Soul that would not make its new lighting effect disappear when it was destroyed. This has been fixed.
SokoChess is a minimalistic puzzle game about pushing chess pieces. Use your pieces to push the black figures to their destination, but be careful! The opposing pieces will capture yours if you give them the chance!

Hello everyone, it's a been while since Dark Crypt got an update! Sorry about the delay, but I've been working on a very special update and other things got in the way on top of that, especially my new game Sokobos!
Graphical Overhaul
A friend of mine has assisted me with the game's visuals, this new update will immerse you even further in the game and make you feel like you are in a dark crypt avoiding monsters which rely on light cast by torches for sight.
The change I am happiest about is the re-work of the simplistic looking scroll! Now our main character has his own personalized journal into which he writes his thoughts.
The main menu screen also got some love!
Quality of Life features
The new update will also include an option to turn on an FPS limiter, option to choose an input style - you will be able to select between HOLDING & PRESSING a key or only PRESSING for the movement. I will be also adding a toggeable camera shake and gamepad vibrations to go along with it.
When?
The planned release date is 29th April 2022 as I am making sure everything works as intended and there are no issues with this new version! This huge update WILL NOT effect your current save file, so you'll be able to jump into this new version and continue playing as if nothing had happened.
