Official release tomorrow

This is it, we're lauching the game officaly tomorrow. Thanks to all our pre-alpha testers for purchasing the game and helped us in the development.

Dark Days Beta Release

In this new 600mb beta release we’ve added a completed story line with the main campaign objectives. You are Carter, a lone hunter, trying to survive an infection on a far-away island. As you try desperately to escape you will cross paths with various characters on your way.

In this update we’ve revamped all maps with new graphics, lighting effects, new cut scenes for plot development, new weapons and new items to craft. Throughout the game you will find blueprints that will unlock crafting skills. As you progress in the game these skills will be crucial to your survival. There’s also optional letters you can find in the game that will give you insight on the infection and explain the potential cause. There’s also Safe Houses to secure by escorting survivors, including a Fast Travel mode. Within these Safe Houses you will be able to access the optional shop, where you can buy and sell items and weapons.

Close to final release, this version should be stable, with minor bugs. Please give us your comments and bug reports in the Steam Community forum. A final release is expected for early June 2016.

Huge UPDATE! Beta is released!

The beta is finally out! We've added many new features and have revamped all maps with new graphics.

Beta release!

Hey guys,

Great news; we have a new update to the current beta version. This 600mb update is very close to the final version of the game. The version is relatively stable but still has some minor improvements needed, which we are currently working on. Please give us your feedback and bug reports in the community forum. We look forward to your comments.

What to expect

Hi guys!

Here's what to expect in the Dark Days beta version, which should be released in a few weeks now. There will be 30+ maps to explore, more items to scavenge and weapons to craft or buy. We also have a compelling story line with the main character Carter, who will try to rescue survivors as he manages to survive himself.

There will be main quests that evolve during the campaign, such as rescuing survivors, securing safe houses and trying to find meaning to what's going on on Colbrook Island. The game will also have side-quests and optional collectibles.

We are currently hard at work right now, improving the overall graphics of the game and creating cut scenes for the major plot twists. We've posted some new screen shots for you to see. And don't forget that for those that buy the game now, you will receive all future updates, including the final version of the game, which should sell for $5 - $10.

Hi,

We've listened to our first clients and we've have made our first bug fixes patch.

- Added sounds on button in pause menu
- Added hotkeys for inventory and pause (I for inventory and ESC for pause)
- Added keyboard input modification in the game launcher
- Fixed a bug in some resolutions that button were not clickable
