Hello everyone, we fixed a bug today that did not allow the game to start due to steam looking in the wrong directory. This has been fixed and you should be able to open the game no problem now.

Dark Matter v1.3 Released!
Hey everyone, I know most of you have probably already given up a long time ago on this game, but I have not. Here it is, end of October. The update started work at the beginning of June. Sorry for the huge wait, but I have been working on alot of bugs and things related to it. Also, some new things were added to the levels to spice the experience up a little bit.
Here's what's been done:
-Added a pause menu
You can now access a pause menu inside the levels by press the F1 key. From that menu you can: Resume Game, Exit to menu, or quit game.
-Added death animations to the enemies
The enemies no longer explode, they now have death animations that are fitting to the way that they are killed.
-Added a new cutscene.
A new amazing cutscene to finish off the story of the game along with a new credits scene.
-Changed the tutorial text.
Changed the tutorial text to be brighter and clearer to read.
-Locked the mouse cursor while playing
The mouse cursor has been locked while playing the game. It is only available when the player pauses the game by pressing F1.
-Massive AI overhaul
I fixed the AI mostly now. Possibly some small patches related to animations and things. But for now lots of new things have been done.
-New navmesh for the AI
The easy explanation, they won't walk through walls and outer space anymore.
-Fixed the decryption key bug
Bug where any option you chose was always right.
-Fixed more bugs
-Small details added to the levels to add more of a space feel to the game (check attached screenshot)
-Completely new UI.

Dark Matter Version V1.3 Progress Update
Hello! Welcome to the Dark Matter V1.3 progress update! We have been working very hard on the new version of Dark Matter. One of these major things is related to the UI. The UI has been completly redone and now has a brand new look to fit the game right! You can see the main menu leaked image with the new UI being used. Here is a list of other things that have already been done for version 1.3:

Version 1.2 is live!
Dark Matter v1.2 Update is now live. The changes have been made to improve your experience playing the game, not to add new stuff to the game (yet).
Here are the fixes that have been made:
-Model related fixes
The texture tearing has been mostly fixed, the models in levels 1 and 2 have been resized to match the surroundings. Collision has been added to some objects that didn`t have it before.
-Level related fixes:
Level 4 has been fixed to load the right story area, level 5 has been fixed and the credits scene now works. All the buttons now work correctly.
-AI fixes
The AI before was able to shoot through walls and had no idea what it was doing, but now this has been fixed. The AI system has been improved a little, but we are still working on it.
-Other changes
Removed the pistol for level 3 and replaced it with the rifle due to bugs.
Thanks for sticking with us for this game. We have been working hard to transform it into what we originally wanted, and we could not have done this without the help of the community, so we are saying thank you to all that have given us critisism to help us fix this game and make it better for the player. Known Bugs and the Fixes coming
I just discovered some bugs related to the level switching, I am working on a patch to fix this at the moment, and hopefully it will be done by Wednesday.
New Game Relase
We have been working hard on another game release, but that does not mean that we won`t have time for Dark Matter. As long as work needs to be done, the updates will keep coming. Now, back to the subject. I was watching a video for a review for Dark Matter, and a sentence brought this to mind. I guess it is about time to reveal the current game we are working on. First patch before release.
Hello everybody! We released the first patch for Dark Matter today. We are hoping to try to get rid of all the bugs before the game launches. Here are a few things that have been changed/fixed
-Fixed the NavMesh for level 3
-Fixed the AI colliders for levels 1-3.
-Fixed some objects that the player was clipping through
-Fixed the main menu bug where when you clicked level one it loaded level 2.
-Optimized some code so the game can load faster.
