Today, we’re excited to announce the Darwin Project Invitational, our first official tournament that’ll take place Wednesday, March 14 at 4:00 PM Eastern. We’ve selected some talented broadcasters to face off in a series of five matches with a total prize pool of $50,000 USD! Stay tuned to our Twitter @ScavengerStudio where we’ll be revealing the contestants in a series of posts leading up to Wednesday!

Darwin Project is Available Now in Early Access!
We can hardly believe it, but launch day is upon us! Darwin Project is available to purchase now on Steam Early Access!
We also released a new trailer that we think really nails the epic feeling of flying around the arena as the Show Director and engaging the audience:

Open Beta Weekend #2 Live Now!
There are no restrictions on livestreaming and recording your gameplay footage during this Open Beta. We’re excited to watch and read your impressions!
If you’re a broadcaster, use Spectator Interactions to engage your audience further by allowing them to support you when you play as the Show Director.

The Second and Final Open Beta Test Is February 23-26
We're excited to announce that we'll be holding our second and final Darwin Project Open Beta test this weekend!
Beta Start: Friday, February 23 at Noon Pacific / 3 PM Eastern / 9 PM CET
Beta End: Monday, February 26 at 9 AM Pacific / Noon Eastern / 6 PM CET
Over 80,000 of you joined us for the first Open Beta, and we've been hard at work making sure this next one is bigger and better! Take a look at the 1.7 patch notes to see the new features you can expect in this weekend's Open Beta: http://www.scavengers.ca/changelog/patch-notes-1-7/
Want to help us make sure Open Beta #2 is a success? Join us Tuesday, February 20 from 2 PM to 4 PM Eastern for a quick server stress test! (Note that streaming and recording is not allowed during this stress test, but encouraged during the Open Beta).

Stress Tests February 16th and 20th - We need your help!
We will be performing two stress tests very soon to help make Darwin Project the best it can be for the next Open Beta and Early Access launch:
Friday, February 16 from 2 to 4 pm EST
Tuesday, February 20 from 2 to 4 pm EST
The stress tests are open to all players who have Darwin Project in their Steam libraries. To participate, just launch your Steam client during one of the above times and wait for the update.
Please come in large numbers so we can more accurately record how the servers behave under heavy strain. There's a chance they will behave badly, but we can whip them into shape with your help!
Streaming/recording/sharing is not allowed for these stress tests.

Open beta #1 Community Highlights - Send us your videos!
Once again, we’re looking for clips that spotlight humorous and unexpected social interactions between players.
We’ll be selecting the most entertaining moments out there to feature in our upcoming “Open Beta#1 Community Highlights” video.
To submit your highlight, email a link for either a Twitch clip or youtube video to amelie@scavengers.ca with the Subject line “Darwin Project highlights Open Beta #1”.
Submission criteria:
- Around one minute or less in length
- In a Twitch clip or YouTube upload link, add a timestamp in the link to let us know when it starts
- In order to facilitate the editing, please do not embed any music
- Must be received by February 5th, 2018 at 11:59pm PT
