2026: Sales, Games, etc.
2025 was a year of change for us. We tried new sales strategies, especially in Summer Sale and Retail Halloween, that failed spectacularly while also giving us the data that we needed to move forward. We also noticed that our player base was not exactly growing in the ways it had even during the COVID lockdowns. We also got hit ridiculously hard by refund scams.
2026 - 2027 will focus on less sales, less games on sale per sale, and less games being produced (which partially is due to the Shakespeare Saga closing). 2019-2021's production level was a direct reaction to external factors, 2023-2024 was a reaction to external factors, and now we finally have time to slow down.... and financially react to 2025.
Dino Shakespeare 3 was meant to be a fun cool-down project that is now swept up in the dual currents of Paper Shakespeare 3 and Army of Tentacles' 10th Anniversary Edition. The latter game we will be officially announcing after PS3 launches sometime before Summer Sale.

The third and final entry in the mainline Paper Shakespeare games is ready for your consumption next year! We're trying a bit of a different format with this game, as it is no longer a Dating Sim, but a straight narrative with a stronger emphasis on reactivity and newer mechanics!
It's also the first of a trilogy that actually deals with the War of the Roses! If you're going to end your Shakespeare Saga, you can do a lot worse than the Henriad, right? This one is based on Richard II, with all of the Quest portions of the game comprising of all of those scenes of the play. We hope you enjoy it!

FIXED: Typos, Init errors with DLC

We're still working on the rewrite, but have come up with against a wall. For a variety of reasons, some of us would like a new game entirely, much like Joe Papp 2 is just the rewrite of Joe Papp 1, and some of us think the rewrite should still be a patch.
We are currently debating what the best route is, both financially and creatively.
We will keep you posted.
