Data Hacker: Reboot now in Retail!
I just wanted to write to you today to let you know that Data Hacker: Reboot, the third title in the DH series featuring new characters, settings, overhauled graphics and battle system... is now live in the Steam Store!
Feedback from players has been very, very positive. I look forward to adding yet more (free) content to the game in the coming weeks.

Time to take on an entirely new cast of characters as they fight for survival (and their own inner demons) in the small fragments of remaining reality. Featuring entirely overhauled aesthetics, combat and class mechanics, Reboot is shaping up to be pretty awesome indeed.

We'll be launching Reboot onto Early Access on Friday 13th February! I'm very excited to show you guys what the Data Hacker universe has to offer...

My decision to take the game onto Early Access is multi-faceted, and basic common sense:
<*>Wider testing base - As I've learned from my months here on Steam, bugs will keep coming at you. I'd really like to smooth and polish the game as much as possible in as short time as possible, making the game more enjoyable for everyone.
<*>Community Hub - A fantastic place to bounce ideas around, keep track of bugs and generally chat about how awesome it is to hack things.
For those of you who haven't been following the development at all, Reboot is a tremendous step up in terms of both game play and aesthetics. Every environment is painstakingly hand-crafted and shaded with lighting and shadows, battles are now side-oriented and the narrative covers a wide variety of interesting characters.
And then there's my favourite feature - characters can access unlocked classes at any time, mixing and matching their skill palette as they see fit. If a character unlocks a skill while training in a particular class, they can keep that skill forever, allowing you to truly customise your dream team from scratch!
