WHAT IS DAVIGO KNIGHT'S PASS?
DAVIGO KNIGHT'S PASS is a free version of the game that lets PC players play against VR players who have purchased the game. KNIGHT'S PASS includes the KNIGHT character only. VR is not required. Download the free KNIGHT'S PASS from the DAVIGO Steam page.
WHAT'S NEXT FOR DAVIGO?
DAVIGO will continue development post-launch to improve the game with your feedback. The full version is planned to release in early 2024. Join the Discord if you haven't already to connect with other players. There you can give feedback, leave suggestions, and interact the development team!

DAVIGO Launches November 29th in Early Access!
On November 29th, VR and PC players clash in epic cross-reality combat! In DAVIGO, become the GIANT in VR or a small KNIGHT on PC and fight your friends in local or online matches.
The latest version expands on previous Alpha releases with updated art, 4 game modes, 7 official maps, mod.io support to download custom maps created with the DAVIGO Map Editor, and a range of new mechanics for more balanced, competitive play.
KNIGHTS can play for free by downloading DAVIGO KNIGHT'S PASS.
DAVIGO will continue development to improve the game with your feedback, with the full version planned to release in early 2024.

DAVIGO demo available for limited time!
Hey everyone,
I realize we don't post much on here (and that we definitely should be!). I figured best to start now as we have some pretty relevant news:
The DAVIGO demo will be free to play this week during Next Fest!
The demo is a limited version of our latest alpha build. It includes two maps and one game-mode (Brawl). If you don't have a VR headset, come play as a warrior and take down some VR giants! If you do have a VR headset, come crush little PC foes!
The demo will be available until the end of the fest, June 26th. Let us know what you think and thank you for your patience as we try to make DAVIGO the best it can be.

DAVIGO Alpha 2 Launch
[previewyoutube="ZmeFyniZrZU;full"] Today, we're launching a major update, Alpha 2, which is available immediately to our Patreon supporters! If you're not a supporter, you can join the waitlist for a chance to play.
Alpha 2 refines the core giant-versus-warrior gameplay seen in the Public Alpha. New features include:
A "physical" health system for both players represented by destructible armour
New warrior mechanics, such as flying, dodging, and shield to block giant attacks
A new map called Kairos and the ability to build and play custom, community-made maps
Subscribing on Patreon helps us work towards the ultimate vision of the game, which includes online multiplayer, matchmaking and Quest support! While apps like Parsec allow you to play Davigo online, native networking will be more user-friendly and opens up the possibility of Quest support. It’s a unique challenge given the physics-based gameplay and technical constraints of mobile VR, but one that we’ve gotten tremendous community support for. In the meantime, you can play online multiplayer using Parsec and find players via the official Davigo Discord server, which now has over 24,000 members.
We've trimmed and adjusted our Patreon levels for clarity. Now, supporters with a lifetime donation of $25USD or more will become a "Pre-order Pal", which gives you a copy of the game at launch and permanent access to Alpha updates.

Davigo public alpha
Today we launched a Patreon! Our goal is to build a community to help support and guide development of the game. To our backers we’re offering exclusive access to closed alpha builds, the latest news, polls, and early prototypes.
On the subject of alphas—today we're also launching the Davigo public alpha. Featuring the map "Proving Ground", one VR player and up to four PC players can play locally or online via Steam Remote Play or Parsec. Replays for each battle are automatically saved and can be viewed in VR! Join our discord below to claim a key for the public alpha.
To kick this all off we released some footage of new features we’ve been working on—highlights are split screen multiplayer and new, much more complex levels, opening up a ton of new gameplay possibilities.

Looking to the future, we’ve set out some other major features we're striving to achieve with Davigo, including:
Maps and mechanics
We're currently exploring new gameplay mechanics, including armour that gets blown off piece by piece, fully destructible levels for you to obliterate, and flammable terrain that produces dense smoke to obscure the giant’s vision.
Audio and visual polish
The current art and sound is placeholder as we focus on gameplay. We will continue refining the audio and visuals to reach a style that is unique, polished, and compatible with all our target platforms.
Online multiplayer
We conducted a closed alpha recently, and a huge takeaway was the importance of online multiplayer—practically everyone was using Steam Remote Play or Parsec to connect with one another, so having native multiplayer would make for a higher quality experience.
Oculus Quest support
We love Quest and the idea of taking Davigo on-the-go. We're currently exploring 360-degree levels that take advantage of untethered, room-scale VR. Supporting Quest would give many more players the opportunity to join in the battle.
Mod support
Modding allows the community to help shape the game, and it’s something we're passionate about! Mods can be something as simple as adding a mustache to the giant or as extensive as player-created maps as modes.
