4x Space RTS ‘Dawn of Andromeda’ Coming To Steam Early Access December 1st 2016
Haarlem, The Netherlands – November 21st, 2016 – Publisher Iceberg Interactive announces today that their 4x space RTS ‘Dawn of Andromeda’ (PC) will launch on Steam’s Early Access program on December 1st 2016. Earlier this year the game enjoyed a very successful closed beta program, accumulating tremendous feedback and suggestions from a dedicated group of testers. Having taken giant strides forward since then, and having undergone extensive Quality Assurance, developer Greywolf Entertainment is now eager to put the current advanced beta in front of a much wider audience, in Early Access. Given the remaining development roadmap and gamer requests, they currently anticipate the game to stay there for around three months, releasing in March 2017.

Dawn of Andromeda, is a pausable, real-time space 4X game focused on providing a fun, immersive and accessible experience, as it allows you to build your empire, colonize new planets, interact with other factions and characters, research new technologies and build fleets so powerful your enemies will tremble. Closed Beta Program for upcoming 4x title Dawn of Andromeda (PC) Now Active
Haarlem, The Netherlands – 26 April 2016 – Publisher Iceberg Interactive announces that the Closed Beta program for upcoming 4x space strategy title Dawn of Andromeda (PC) is now active, and registration has begun. Developer Grey Wolf Entertainment invites dedicated 4x gamers to register for the Closed Beta, in order to help shape the Andromeda Galaxy.
“This is our call to all enthusiastic and committed fans of the 4x genre, to enter the Closed Beta program and help us in a controlled test environment, with their valuable feedback”, says Mike Domingues, Lead developer at Grey Wolf Entertainment. He continues: “The Beta program will consist of various waves that will open up at different points during the process and we’ll introduce new players into the program during each wave. “

Dawn of Andromeda opts for closed beta, starts application process this month.
Development studio Grey Wolf Entertainment and publisher Iceberg Interactive have reassessed their development strategy and, after much analysis, have chosen to continue the Dawn of Andromeda development process in a controlled closed beta program, instead of the initially planned Steam Early Access process.
The closed beta program will enable a fixed-sized and fully controllable environment, where feedback is more manageable and easier to digest for the relatively small indie team. The beta program will consist of several different phases/waves, introducing a fixed number of new players to the beta program at different development points. Once the closed beta program for Dawn of Andromeda is complete, the title will be launched as a solid and finished product on Steam.
