I don't want to waste any more of you guys' time with this subpar "experience". I haven't made signifiant progress in about 4 months now, and from the look of things that won't change anytime soon.
Honestly, I shouldn't have published the game so early - there was barely anything in it, it was still a prototype without actual substance. I'm really glad that some people seemed to enjoy it given its barebone state and I learned a couple very important things.
This project has no future, not with how my life is at the moment. I sincerely apologize to everyone for wasting your time with this piece of shit.
The game will be removed from the Steam on May 18th.
I'm sorry, but it's the end

Beta channel update
- Resolution switching removed entirely. Fullscreen mode will now use OS resolution, and the game window can be freely resized in windowed mode - Added framerate selection - Transitions, animations and other timing-related things are now separate from the framerate itself - All the settings are on the main menu. I dunno if I'll change that, I kinda like having everything in one place - A lot of game resources are now loaded at game startup instead of being included in the .exe file. This makes quick patches a lot faster since I don't have to recompile all the assets. |_ This also applies to a selection of scripts - now you can break the game yourself if you like. :)
Don't mind the "New game" and "Load game" buttons, they don't do crap in this update
Beta
I've recently uploaded a beta build to test how the game menu scales with different screens. If you want to try it out, go to "Betas" in the game's properties and type "DayAfterDayBeta" in the beta access code field.
Please note that this is not meant for regular play; I'll use the beta channel to test the most random things. :)
The current beta build is focused on testing different screen aspect ratios - currently, the game *SHOULD* display black bars on the sides of the screen if you're using a 21:9 display, or black bars on the top and bottom if you're using a 4:3 display.
Please let me know if the game isn't displaying properly!
Proton is nice
,,It just works!"
A quick update
Sorry for no updates recently, I feel like shit and I've been a bit busy with "life stuff". I'm working on several expeditions, mingling with the combat system and crafting and some other things.
I want to put everything together before I release another update. :)
