Update 1.5 - Leaving Early Access, Performance, Features and Bugs fixes

Hi guys,
Today i'm excited to announce: The Dead Army Radio Frequency is leaving the Early access.

And with this launch we have some updates to talk about:

Passive Mode and better control of units



Yes, sounds simple, but now you have a better control of your units. You can enable and disable the passive mode. With passive mode enable, your unit will attack only if you tell.

Unit formation improved



Now you have a better control of your units using group of formation. You can create square groups or line groups. And like others RTS, you can save your formation using CTRL + (1,2,3,4,..).

Unit balancing



During early access the bosses was a little bit easy, but now, you need to think a little bit more to beat then.
Talking about HP of bosses, every unit has been balanced to improve the gameplay experience.

Performance improvement



Now you can play dead army with better performance. We improved the loading times, lights, occlusion, framerate and more.

Bugs and crashes fixes




  • Bugs related with lights fixed
  • Bugs during loading fixed
  • Crashes during gameplay fixed
  • Damage hit from Projectiles fixed

UPDATE 1.2 - Survive Mode - New Game Mode Available

The game has been updated with a new game mode

Survive Mode


Now you can control the soldiers to fight against zombies.
Survive 10 waves creating units and use the best strategy to survive.

Remember all zombies available in campaign mode is your enemy including zombie bomb.

Main Menu -> Single player -> survive mode -> Survive the night

With this update we will check the balance between soldiers and zombies to create the best balancing for multiplayer mode.

Patch 1.06 - Preparing for multiplayer and Bugs Fixes

The game has been updated with a new patch to improve gameplay experience and fix some bugs.

Bugs fixed:

- Screen resolution bug
- Game settings save updated
- AI optimization
- Collision area for some maps updated

We are working to release the multiplayer with a new game mode. Soon we will release more info about this.

Patch 1.05 - Bugs Fixes, Achievements and Units Balancing

The game has been updated with a new patch to improve gameplay experience and fix some bugs.

New achievements added:




  • Long life to Zombies
  • Occupational Hazard


Bugs fixes:




  • Unit bullets accuracy improved
  • Level "Survive" from Prologue campaign now show the Final Boss.
  • Texts in-game fixed
  • Level "Worrisome News" from Prologue campaign now have more space for view camera movement


Units balancing:




  • Damage from law enforcers decreases 10%
  • Damage from Sunwalkers descreses 8%
  • Range from Zombie Bomb explosion increase 10%
  • Range from Zombie Ballistae view increase in 5%


Level balancing:




  • Level "Imminent vaccination" from Prologue campaign now have more enemy reinforcements
  • Level "survive" from Prologue campaign now have less enemies per wave and more Waves incoming
  • Level "survive" from Prologue campaign now have Zombie Bombs

Patch 1.03 - AI Behavior and Challenge improvement

The game has been updated with a new patch to improve gameplay experience and fix some bugs

Human AI Behavior

  1. Now humans have reactions and can run away from zombies more fast.
  2. Police officer now have a chance to run away if he judge necessary.
  3. Humans infected loses velocity and HP gradually
  4. Bosses now have more HP
  5. All soldiers have a better vision range


Zombies AI Behavior

  1. Speed increase for Mutilated zombies (green zombie)
  2. Little HP reduction for Militia zombies


Bugs fixed
Interface loses focus during tutorial
presentation of new zombie showing wrong zombie

Performance improvement
Levels with more than 200 units now have a stabilized framerate
