We´ve updated the 2nd edition of Dead But Alive! Southern England in mid September.

Version 2.0.2 features some bug fixes for problems that were reported on the Steam forum after the release.

2nd edition available now!
We have set live the first major update for Dead But Alive! Southern England. This is a complete re-working in Ren´Py, which has a lot of benefits. We have also decided to put focus on the visual novel / simulation aspect of the game and dropped the slot machine combat. While we still think it´s a fresh and unique approach, it would probably not work as well on mobile devices.

When you start the game you now have the choice between the classic version (including the slot-machine combat) and the new 2nd edition.

At the same time we have started work on the next episode of the game, called Dead But Alive! Scotland and a new twitter channel to keep in touch with you about the new update and the new episode.

We are currently working hard to ship the first major update for Dead But Alive! Southern England. This is a complete re-working in Ren´Py, which has a lot of benefits, including compatibility to all major OS like Mac, iOS, Android etc. We have also decided to put focus on the visual novel / simulation aspect of the game and dropped the slot machine combat. Dead But Alive! Southern England has been updated to version 1.0k.

Changes:
- Added feature: You can now change the speed of the dialogue (faster and slower). Remember you can also set the dialogue to be paused until you click. The dialogue speed is NOT saved in order to ensure it is reset to default value every time the player starts the game. This is for evaluation purposes until the next update.
- Fix/Change: When the game describes the emotions or gestures of the speaking character (like [Steve is angry with you]), the character in question will not move the mouth anymore.

Please note that this update is only available for the release version and has not been applied to the beta.
